I love seeing how involved and engaged these two are with each other. So much freedom Sutan has to express herself, and she's so polite! Her parents are wonderful.
It’s so interesting how Su-chan, at the tender age of 4, already has a sense of style and what she likes, even when it comes to small details. Also props to Moe-san for respecting her opinions, even though I’m sure she’d like Su-chan to dress in the complete getup. I’m sure Su-chan will be open to try more and more in the future!! Grandma's excitement at seeing Sutan in s Kimono was so heartwarming. Moe's yellow Kimono is beautiful too. Once again Sutan loved dressing up but did not like the Obi, perhaps because its so stiff compared to regular clothing or fabrics.
It might seem odd, but the scene where she is upset because she wants to go to the park is actually lovely, because it's a reminder that she is a normal 4 year old, and mostly what we see are the fun snips of life. Such a lovely family, and learning traditions from young is so valuable.
The part where they started taking pictures...that made me really emotional 🥺 I know this is a very huge milestone for Sutan and the entire family. Thank you for sharing this to us ❤️

Validating sutan’s feelings and emotions really helped her becoming more and more expressive in terms of opinions, needs, and emotions. OMG this just made my day! Arigatou gozaimasu, Sutan-chan, Moe-San and Moto-San! You’ve made millions of people so happy with this! How much maturity in Sutan in 2 years! She’s remembering everything from the video but telling us she’s a big girl and won’t do all that now! This is just cuteness overload! There were times I see that Sutan still had the same expressions and shyness at times as that 2 year old and I am so happy that she still is a little girl in spite of all the maturity! She has such great taste already! She only wants natural flowers! Way to go and she even called out when the Obi was looking a bit off! Su-chan has truly matured a lot! She looks pretty in her kimono! Learning how to put one on is truly an art in itself. You did an amazing job with her hair too, Moe-san! I wish I could do my hair as nicely as you can. I actually recently joined a Japanese dance group in my area that teaches traditional Japanese dance, and the sensei wants me to learn how to put on a kimono by myself. The dance group is planning on going to Japan in a couple years, so I hope to buy some kimonos while I'm there.
