What a cracker of a video!! I'm close to buying a GT and having the chance to look under the deck is priceless!! That simple fuse change/upgrade will potentially help many Wolves out there :) Would also like to see inside the controller box!! Keep up the fantastic work Ginger!
Nevermind Ginger, I typed in how to remove the battery and your video popped up. You're showing me how to remove the battery and why my scooter isn't charging. I'm going to check the fuses like you suggested and go from there. Thank you for all of your knowledge and wisdom on these bad boys.
Ride That Tasty Wave
Thank you for all the insight. It was very clear and detailed for me. I have the GT pro and all the help with working on it is very much appreciated. Thanks again
That’s called a HRC (high rupture capacity) fuse. The powder in it is sand, and it’s designed to extinguish very high power arcs, the powder in it is sand, and it helps extinguish the arc by melting and getting insulating the arc flash. They’re using those types of fuses in that scooter due to the power levels involved with that huge battery.
Also just as a side note they advertise a 6.5A charger for that scooter when there is only a 6.3A fuse on the charge port. These companies need to learn their damn products! Good thing I saw this before buying one.
yep. those glass fuses will catch fire if it arcs, which it will
Both my fuses blew on my Wolf 11+ using a 5amp charger as well last year. I changed them to better quality fuses and had never had a problem anymore using my 9amp fast charger. Great video Ryan!
You must change fuse with the exact value for safety. Value of the fuses and type are electrically calculated along with the supplied circuit. Changing fuse with higher value is a mistake. Fuses is a last line of defence in a electrical circuit if they don’t blow fast enough when there’s a electrical fault 2 things can happen 1st more electrical components will get damaged or 2nd fire hazard can happen.
Where do you get the fuses
Fantastic video. Very well explained and impressive diagnostics you’ve done to determine and resolve the issue. You’ve saved me from having to take a course on electronics and electrical currents. 👍🏻👍🏻😄 Now I just need to get me a scooter.
Awesome video! Thanks for the in-depth look at the KAABO, your knowledge is much appreciated.
This reminds me of a fix I have to do on my DT Thunder. I scraped the side of a charge port and it's half hanging out. I need to pull the side rails, battery and remount it. Always something with riders that push our POV's. Great video sir.
If the charge port is damaged in any way I would replace it completely. Thats one part of a scooter you don't want to make angry.
Nice little short there... Thanks for the inside view. Will you upgrade those initial thin wires or leave them as factory ?
Fun technical video Mr. Wheels. Thank you sir...
My chargers just stopped turning red today, 700miles into ownership on the wkgt no issues yet. Placed an order for the 8A fuses, theyll get here tomorrow, will swap them and let you know the results. Thanks so much for the helpful video
If you were only ever using the stock 2amp chargers then chances are that your fuses are fine. One thing that did happen to my Wolf King GT though that I didn't make a video of, the wires inside the deck that we're going from the charge port to the fuse actually came detached from the charge port because the battery was pressing on them so hard. One of the downsides of having such a tight fitting battery.
@@GingerOnWheels you’re absolutely right! I was hesitant to dig into it till the fuses showed up (electrical not my thing) but i unscrewed the deck and right there…. loose connection to the charge ports. Plugged in firmly and the chargers light red again! Youre right about it being a tight fit in there.
Thank you so much, I have a 72v wolf king and the fast chargers melted the fuses and this was the same exact problem that I’ve had. Not charging and showing green on both my chargers when the battery didn’t take the power going to it.
Just wanted to let you know your the reason why I didn't freak out when I went to charge and seen one was red and the other was green so I went to my mental file and said wait a minute Ginger did a vid on this. So thanks again for the help 🤙🏽🍻
😎
Such useful info on here. Great video.
Thank you for the upload and this little upgrade hack. Can you please show us the controller panel space etc?
GoW this is my exact problem right now. I cant thank you enough for this video. It's given me the courage to take charge of fixing my wolf myself. See what I did there. Thanks so much as always.
Glad to hear it! Just be careful poking around in there. Pretty easy to short out the system if you don't know what you're doing!
Thanks GoW. The fuses fixed the issue. Had to get the fuse connectors as well. She’s charging on all 10A again. Cheers mate
You should start making lots and lots of videos of how to do things like replace motors replace batterys it would be so help and save so many holes in my wall my wiring was actually very very neat on my scooter
First off, WOW! There's like NO freaking room in that deck for anything else, it's a giant battery holder! Double WOW, that frayed cable, YIKES. Good thing that fuse blew or you'd probably have a fried scooter or worse. I'm going to watch how well that uber fast charger works out for you. My battery is 52v 23.4Ah (Nanrobot D4+ 3.0) so that charger should work once its dialed in. I'm especially excited by using 1 charger with a single split cable and splitting the amps between the the 2 charge ports, awesome sauce!
The most I would charge on your scooter is 9amps. You've got a 14S9P battery. 9 parallel strands each capable of of about 1.3 amps max safe charge. Dial that back by 30% for safety and you're looking at about 9 amps, between the two ports. I don't recommend more than 7 per port.
Great stuff Ginger I just purchased this beast by the looks of it has sure has been put together on minimum a budget. I sure don't like the way the wires are wrapped in cheap looking black plastic kind of wishing I had of seen this video first. Now I know what to expect I will be sealing all wires and maybe changing amps before my first ride thanks again
Why fix something not broken?
Nice video man...very informative
Always have an emergency contingency plan when working on your scooter. Shorts can lead to catastrophic battery fires. There was a post on the electric scooter forum where a guy was messing with a water damaged battery pack and started a fire. He burned his feet and threw the battery into his bathtub where it became a toxic sludge. Just food for thought
Just had the same issue with my scooter earlier today, tried to change it and the light on the charging brick stayed green. Changed out the fuses and just like that it began to charge. I really would like to see Voro change out these fuses for better ones.
I like your super charger!
I purchased a similar looking charger which has two dials, one dial allows voltage adjustment, up to around 125 or so volts, and the second dial (potentiometer) allows amperage adjustments, i think up to 15 amps or so. this charger was made by someone that rides and is a part of the electric unicycle community.
Great video!
The wolf king gt pro is presently my favorite scooter. I love the stability of the ride at high speeds. i traded my nami burn e viper for the wolf king gt pro and i am very happy with the scooter.
i may buy a new wolf king gt pro, or possibly wait for the wolf king gtr to come out, which appears to have even more improvements, to the front and rear suspension.
i hope the wolf king gtr comes with self sealing/self healing tires, and a thumb throttle!
and i would really like to see at least a 45 amp hour capacity battery in the wolf king gtr. or even 50 amp hour would be even better. the range would be very close to infinity :)
The charger you have is called a Roger charger. It's literally the exact same charger except he employed the factory to add a second dial to it. After he did that then the factory started selling it as the standard format. 99% chance we have a charger from the same factory. 🙂
I agree 100% about your Kaabo feelings. I really wish they'd tried to fit a 40, or even 45ah battery in there.
Thanks for sharing. Do have a service manual for the scooter or know where a person could find one? I enjoy exploring but l’d like a road map to reference.
Thanks for the video.... I blew one of my charging fuses as well.... popped 2 new 250v 8amp slow blow fuses in and wah lah.
It'd be cool to see what's inside the controller box I tried looking all over the internet but nobody has done it yet lol
Hey G.O.W. just wanted to say thank you. You convinced me to get an electric scooter. Since then I've owned 17. Yup. Addiction beyond imagination but honestly the best thing ever for my bipolar. You are a legend.
From a happy subscriber in the UK
Nice video mayn was wondering what it looks like inside.
Easiest way to check the fuse is to use the continuity test on the meter. It beeps if the connection is good and is silent if the circuit is open.
if you charge it at 6.5a to 10a consistently would the batteries deteriorate or become junk quicker?
I also have the King GT Pro all black. I received mine with a charging port not working and a bad charger. What my question is once I pull up the rubber matting will I have to use a adhesive or will it restick itself. Also while I am in there should I also replace the stock fuses?
where did you buy those fast chargers? I have a wolf warrior x pro and my charge time is 12 hours
Hi Ginger! I have a kaboo wolf warrior 11+, and I have the same problem, do you know what type of fuse this scooter has? I know you had one for a while and maybe you have this information, greetings from Patagonia!
Hey ginger thanks for the advice cause i have the wolf warrior its good to know I'm charging on 6amps my fast charger goes from 2amps to 6amps so 6amps in one port is ok right
Its right at the max allowable charge rate. 6amps for a few hours might even blow the fuse. I'd stick to 5 per port unless you've upgraded the fuses.
I use my dualtron storm fast charger to charge battery to 80%ish then use the reg chargers for the rest and it works great
Why not just use the fast charger for the whole cycle? Once it enters CV mode then it'll slowly decrease amps to balance your cells.
I had my deck off recently. I really don't like how the charging port wires are so close to the side of the battery., although the battery seems to be solid inside the case with a little movement and time they can short out to the side of the battery.
I would like to see a better design.
This happened to me fresh out of the box. One of the charging ports don’t work. Also, the blue lights nor either of the brakes work! Great inspection Voro ! Lol
I think I commented on your reddit post today, was that you?
@@GingerOnWheels yes!! That’s me! I’m just now seeing your comment, yes it turned out to be a disconnected wire. It’s just unfortunate they cut those corners.
- your probably wondering 💭 what does Hyrule master chef mean ? I have a Zelda channel for breath of the wild
haha and a huge fascination for scooters. Your video actually helped me I needed to know where those screw holes and wires were! Thanks a million. THIS SCOOTER IS INSANE !!!
Hey Ginger, in the settings menu the magnet count setting specifically, that allows you to calibrate the speedometer correct? If so which direction do I move it? Increase the count to increase the speed reading?
Adjust the tire size setting to get the speed more accurate. You should never adjust the magnet count.
@@GingerOnWheels what size do you set the tyres to?
hey man, just wondering what charger you would recommend after the upgrade, Cheers
After reading all the comments on this video, I am surprised no one has asked this question: Where can I buy/get that 13amp charger?? I want it and need it since my two 1.5amp basic chargers for my Wolf King GT is not enough since I am a daily Wolf King GT driver on Speed 5 Dual Motors ALL DAY LONG!
I got mine on Aliexpress and had the cables made custom for the charge ports. Its really easy to catch your stuff on fire with this thing so I'd recommend against it unless you really know a lot about batteries and how they work.
@@GingerOnWheels sup Ginger, I just received that 13amp charger from Aliexpress haha. And like you said, it is easy to catch that stuff on fire with this charger. So what voltage should I set the charger on for my 72volt Wolf King GT? I saw on your video that you have it at around 72.5volts to charge your Wolf King GT, that means I should set my fast charger to 72.5volts?
I noticed in the beginning of this vid you could see your other scooter in the living room. Looks like you have the “Bad Boy” Horn?
I’m new to the channel so you made a video on that please point. If not, maybe make a video in that? I just bought one for my GT and wondering about the wiring and how to tie in
Keep up the excellent work and vids! Thanks
Good eye! I've had that horn on there for a while and love it. Definitely video worthy, you're right! I'll get that out in the next couple of weeks.
I gotta put 8amp fuses liks i did the stock ones on the wolf warrior is 5amps the king GT pro has the 6amp fuses
Hey can you use 2 fast 5amp chargers on the WOLF GT at the same time for a total of 10amp safely great video btw
Yes
Hope you charge like that outside, using anything other than the new stock chargers is asking for trouble. Ginger doesn't care if your house burns down. Thermal runaway will ruin your day.
@@jaycarl1562 I don't care? Is that why I invented, and sell the FireSak? Jay in your mind this video didn't exist before you saw it, sort of odd. Did you notice this video is a year old? I regularly charge my gt pro at 10amps. Why isn't my Wolf on fire? As long as your charger is putting out 84.3v peak then your battery will be totally fine.
Any chance you can help out with a regular king ? I have two dead charge ports and I have no clue how the fuses look or where you should be located. lots more wires inside the battery compartment of the wolf king it seems.
Hey! I think I replied to your Facebook post earlier today. Inside your deck in the same spot as this scooter you'll find the fuse holders. Follow the wires from the charge ports for about 8 inches and you'll see them.
@@GingerOnWheels someone did sisnt know it was you. Posted the question multiple places to get a higher chance of response. Thanks again
How's the silicone mat held on is it just glue? And how do you get it back on?
Glue. I just peeled it up in the areas where I know the screws are.
them wires will handle up to 30 amps i use the same wires on my icom 756 amateur radio yes the fuse is blown ginge
Hi Ginger.
Thanks for this awesome video tutorial. I ran into the problem and replaced my fuses to 8a, but it still doesn't charge. What do you think the problem could be? My king gt is currently sitting with 48% charge and 83.4V which I find a little weird. Would love to hear your input and hopefully a solution.
Thank you very much and keep up the good work.
You have the wrong voltage selected in the display settings of the scooter. At 83v your scooter is already at 100% charge, something in the settings is confused and thinks you only have half charge.
@@GingerOnWheels I've gone through the P-Settings already, but didn't notice anything. I'm trying to find the wolf king gt pro p-setting list, but no luck and all I'm finding are the ones for wolf warriors.
@@URASSISGRASS1000 you'll have to download a pdf of the manual I guess. I think they are called "advanced settings" on the GT PRO.
I am hearing theres a recall on the wolf king gt the battery catches fire or blows controllers. also the from wheel breaks off. theres some threads on reddit. I just ordered the gt pro with TFT and now I'm worried. Apparantly bike stores and not selling them anymore. wtf?? can you update us on yours?
Do you know what the BMS of the Wolf King GT can handle while being charged? I see you're doing 10A... I'm scared even doing 8A. Thanks man.
I've only ever gone up to 10 on stock fuses. I did 12 with the fuse upgrade on the king gt pro
@@GingerOnWheelswould it deteriorate the battery and become junk over time quicker?
Would u recommend this scooter is it worth the price
Just ordered my King GT Pro, don't really want to get in there and replace anything, should I just charge at 4amps? Or is 5amps safe for the GT Pro?
I would limit to 8 amps. 4 amps per charge port.
Okay so charging fuses got plugged back in okay. But today marks the fourth incident that ive gotten error code 5 (undervoltage protection) and the scooter powers off and wont turn back on for some time, while having plenty of battery life left. Do you have any insight on this issue?
I had a weird experience today I charged 1 port with 6amps and one or two hours later added 1.5 amps on the second port and went on a cruise pulled the throttle and it showed up with error one 😐 and the charger is from aliens rides and only has 4 amps or 6 amps should I do 4 amps and then buy a splitter for two ports and do 4 amps on each port
Can you help me figure out why the rear lights and LED deck lights are not working? I can't find any videos 😕
That could be so many things. Most likely it's a loose connection in your wiring in the deck somewhere. Disconnect the LEDs and use a multimeter to measure for power while the lights are turned 'on', follow the wires back until you find a break in power.
my kaabo wolf Gtr pro arrived yesterday and it has stock chargers one of the chargers switches colors green to red but the other one is just showing red indicating that it's charging so my question is why is one of my chargers switching green to red back and forth does it mean that it's not working do i need a new charger?
It's probably fine. Leave them both plugged in for a while longer and I bet they both turn green. The charge ports will usually turn green to red at different times.
Will 10 amp slow blow fuses work I can get that in two days if I go with 8 it going to take a month
If you're looking to achieve thermal runaway, yes get the 10 amp
Can i ask a question please... How much, does the fast charging, affects the battery life? Is faster charging worth the cost?
Approx 0%. 'Fast chargers' do charge quicker than stock, but it's not anywhere near what an actual lithium fast charge is. A 35ah battery can fast charge at up to 35amps safely, but scooters and eucs consider 5amps a 'fast charge'. It's not fast compared to what the battery can handle, it's fast compared to stock.
The faster you charge the shorter life of the battery. Charging up to 100%, or 84 volts is also something that would shorten the life of the battery. I only charge 79.5 volts or 80% most of the time. I give it a full charge when I know I need it. Also make sure that you never leave it fully charged for more than 24 hours and do not let it discharge under 25%. Store your scooter between 60 and 75%. Taking care of your battery in this way will get you over 1000 power cycles easily, not doing this and following gingers advice you would get around 300 cycles. The price we paid for this scooter, it's in our best interest to take care of it the best we can. Ginger could care less about how long your scooter lasts he just wants to be right about everything and will never accept or admit when he's wrong.
What do you think of if I don’t have any on display?. Charger always green connected or disconnected to scooter I
Fuse is blown.
yo ginger im making a mount for magura brakes to be mt5 brakes to be fitted on kaabo wolf range as im making for mine as there is none around would u like a set to try out when ive finished making ?
That would be fun. But I don't have any magura brakes to test them with. Thanks anyway!
What is that dual cable connector extreme charger??
Hey little off topic but I bought the wolf king gt and also got the fingerprint reader. Voro motors told me I had to install it. Any chance you know how complicated it is to install?
No I don't. Sorry. If it were me I would cancel the order for the fingerprint reader and just use the password function built into the display of the GT
@@GingerOnWheels didn’t realize it had one on the system
Used the 6.5a charger from fluidfreeride on my king gt pro and it blew a fuse in the front port I believe :l
Question ginger: I see people commenting saying you shouldn’t increase the fuse amps…
I mean if I put these 8a ones in my scooter and then just use it on 5 or 6.5a it should be absolutely fine no…?
I ordered the fuses great video man thanks
Yeah it works fine. People online like to repeat things they've read from sources with no experience. The stock fuses are only good up to 5 amps so it wouldn't surprise me that the stock fuse blew at 6.5A.
@@GingerOnWheels got them in and they work mint. Thanks man
Just ordered my GT toinght!
The reason you're not heating up at 14A is by providing two charging paths, you've created a current divider. You're only pushing 7A per path. The pack can easily take this with zero damage, as a total of 14-15A is less than 0.5C. You could probably push 3C (105A) or better without seeing any effects on the pack.
will the battery become junk or deteriorate over time if charger consistently between 6.5 to 10a
My charger don't charge up to 100% and stay red so I'm going to update a fuse to see if that helped any ideas? I'm also going to throw in the fuse to prevent it from overheating my battery because it shut off when I ride for so long
Honestly it sounds like you have a battery issue. Or BMS perhaps. If your fuse was bad then it would be an open loop which would turn the charger green. You can try unplugging and reconnecting the XT connectors from the battery to the controller to reset it perhaps, but it sounds to me like you might have a dead cell in your battery somewhere. Id contact your point of purchase for support first, if you mess with the fuses you might void the warranty.
My Wolf Warrior 11 plus came with a 2A charger which is painfully slow, Can I use a 60V 4A charger or even two 4A chargers same time. Thanks.
Check out PEVoutlet.com. It's my scooter accessory shop and I sell chargers that will work on your scooter with a splitter that run at 9-10 amps. Despite what you hear online that's a completely safe rate to charge your scooter at. Most lithium sells can charge at one C which for your scooter would be 35 amps. The wolf warrior 11 plus has 5 amp fuses for each charge port though so you can run 5 amps into each port safely.
@@GingerOnWheels Thank you, mate.
I have a single 5A charger for my GT and have had no problem
I had a wolf 11+, and regular king and charged them all the time with two 5 amp chargers. I used the same two chargers on the King GT Pro and the fuses blew 🤷♂️. I WAS plugged in outside and some people are telling me that's 'dirty power ', but I think it has to do with that 4 to 3 pin adapter, or maybe just a faulty charger? Either way, I'm happy with the upgrade because now I can rest easy knowing I'm not melting anything charging at 10+ amps.
Is there a way to reset the miles
So much technology and power. Such cheap little fuzes. SMH 🤦♂️ ✨🤷♂️✨Good video. ✨✅✨Your Awesome!

I’ve had the same problem for months but I don’t have the confidence to open up my scooter, if it’s under warranty then Kaabo should fix it right?
I'm not sure about that one. The place you bought it from is the only place that can answer that question.
@@GingerOnWheels I bought it from Kaabo, they want me to send it over 75 miles which is going to cost $150 in shipping, I could fix it myself but there’s always a chance it isn’t the fuses…

it probably blew because all the "experts" say turn on the charger before plugging it into the scooter. plugging in 1 at a time, the one charge port was overloaded with 10 amps on the 1 port before you get the other port on the charger. plug both in and flip the power switch
Where did you get the charger from?

GT pro not charging. I tested chargers, working as they should. Fuses are good, I just don’t know why it’s still not charging, light stays green. All wires are plugged in. Any chance you know a fix ?
Could be your charger, have you tried another one?
I have 2 chargers, both will stay green. I tested both and they are working as they should. What I did find out is if I run battery down below 15% and plug in the charger will go red but once it hits around 20% it will turn back to green. I just don’t understand. The fuses and wiring seems to be good.
theres the BMS module inside the battery. Dont blow the mosfets in there or you are going to have a can of worms. that battery is like 1400 bucks. Do you still think the wolf king is worth it?
Actually its $1000 at voro. Tried them all, the KWKGT is by far the scooter with the least problems. Tried to like the NAMI BURN-E 2 MAX but there where simply to many issues, main one being crazy speed wobble at speeds over 45 mph no matter what you do. The KWKGT has absolutely no wobble at any speed. This is important as I commute on the Wolf 22 miles a day at an average speed of 48mph.
@@jaycarl1562 I had to put new rear bushings in mine. I got leet3d black. what a difference. so much better. kaabo wont cover that I bet
I've melted the fuze holders with only 5amps on the Wolf Warrior 11+, it was pretty funny to watch to be honest.
The fuze got so damn hot that it wrecked the holder before even getting close to blowing.
If I had my way, the charge leads would be one gauge higher and use much cooler fuses that are rated up to the batteries true maximum charge rate.
*This melting happened on a Wolf Warrior 11+ that had a dual battery install, there was no real loss as they were completely paralleled after this event so that everything happens all at once to both batteries at the same time and each esc too*
*also the fuses used here are ceramic 240v AC rated, running them with DC they will have a slightly different rating, throw the model number of one into google and look around for a data sheet to see how they perform under certain circumstances*✌
Its irritating isnt it? A totally healthy charge rate for these massive batteries is still around 25amps, way faster than my wall will even allow. But with the 1.5 amp stock chargers its sortof a joke.
@@GingerOnWheels I absolutely agree!
I pump plenty of power into my t10-ddm without any issues, I usually take it right to the safe max, although it is much lower due to the 52v 22ah battery 😅
Hint hint, you can get heat shrink the right size online for the battery and some good silicone wire too and replace the dinky charge leads ;)
Nice look under the hood Mr Ginger.
Can you do the same for the KWW11 60v please

Ginger! I have a serous question!
I see you’re charger has 2 outputs? I was thinking of pig-tailing my 8a charger. So i can duel charge with the wolf king. Any benefits? Like what I think would happen in my head.
At 8a 84V it will double the a giving me 16A
I know the battery can handle 20A etc
You’re doing 11A! So that would be 22A total? Or am I missing something?..
You're missing something. Stock scooter can only do 10 MAX. I'd save the effort and just use your 8 amp single.

My battery is a LG, the top pin on the back of the charger port is not being used, so they are only using two pins, for positive, and negative connections
This battery should be LG or Samsung but I saw no indication of that on the outside of the battery pack. Very odd. I can't verify the brand of cells at this time.

Its a LG the wolf warrior 11+ comes withba Samsung
I have a kaabo wolf king gt pro but it’s in error 30 I’m not sure what to do if anyone has experience this please let me know so I can try fix it the speed or nothing is showing
Error 30 - communications/controller error.
Most likely a display problem, a wiring harness or the controller. If possible troubleshoot with another display (if you have access to one) .....
Check your wiring harness for damage or bent pins. Pay close attention to the wiring as it leaves the controller going to the wiring harness, making sure no part of the wiring has been smashed by motor flex or random debris
Check if you have extensions for the brake levers, throttle or gear sensor. Unplug everything before testing, then test by plugging each component individually in and power cycling the system.
Check that you are not pinching the wiring leaving the controller, or the installation is causing the wiring to be pulling out of the wiring exiting the controller.
Unplug all plugs in the controller as shown here, then plug them back in.
Click here and follow step 2 for bypassing the LCD
I'd unplug everything except the display and see if it changes the trouble code. Even to the point of disconnecting the controller from the motor (hall and phase wires) as I think if the 5vdc regulated power supply is being shorted by something, loss of communication will occur.
EDIT: May want to check for 5vdc at an easy location like the brake connector (see wiring pin-out below) to check if it's lost or weak first...
It’s a long shot but I could anyone on here give me some advice, I charged my wolf warrior x pro with an 8 amp charger and a standard 8 amp charger, the scooter will only turn on when charging and when unplugged the voltage on the display rapidly decreases and switches off. I can’t see the fuses being blown on the charger end as it still turns on when charging
Sounds like you charged at 16amps? I could see the BMS being damaged from that, on top of fuses being blown.
@@GingerOnWheels I charger at 10A using one 8A and one 2A, I realised the fuses are rated at 6A each and that I shouldn’t use 2 different voltage chargers. I messed up the bms. I’ve ordered another battery can’t wait to get it going again.
@@benkellaway8736 is it fixed now
I been trying to find the charging fuse on my tiursor x13 but no luck can anyone help?
x13 does not have fuses so if you have charging problem it is from bms most like[y bad mosfet or in safety mode,, do not charge more than 8 amps for both ports will cause battery to leak in some cells if they used tsl 21700 cells
Lol the powder is Cermic fuse 5x20mm 6.3 amp on king gt wolf warrior 11 is 5 amp
do you ever grease your bushings??
Grease the bushings? No. Seems like they would just collect dirt that way.
@@GingerOnWheels can you tell what kind of bushings they use in the back?? no one ever shows them or mentions them ? thanks
I charge my varla eagle one pro at 8 amps through a single port no problem
I got mine yesterday. It came fuuuucked up. I’m so aggravated right now. The horn was all bent. Scratches everywhere. Even on the seat ( which came on a separate package). There is mud underneath the fender.
Did you order a refurbished one ? If there is mud on it then it's definitely used.
@@GingerOnWheels No, brand new. And also the Black/Red combo ( which is 400$ more expensive for some reason) 😢
@@Mountain_Soldier where did you get it from?
You must change fuse with the exact value for safety. Value of the fuses and type are electrically calculated along with the supplied circuit. Changing fuse with higher value is a mistake. Fuses is a last line of defence in a electrical circuit if they don’t blow fast enough when there’s a electrical fault 2 things can happen 1st more electrical components will get damaged or 2nd fire hazard can happen.
Nonsense.
If you use the exact value of charging current it will blow again. Fuses protect against excessive current. You want the fuse to be slightly higher than the current level you want to protect.
Exactly! Thermal runaway is no fun especially in a battery this size.
6:00 if you're worried about the quality just get a simple breaker that you can reset. Yes of course it'll be Chinese unless you want a German Borsch type and drop your paycheck on it
If you get a breaker for both charge ports you'll be hard pressed to fit them inside the deck.
How much for a replacement battery?
I don't sell them
Nerd? I resemble that remark!
the bms is what gets hot and you cant measure the internal temp of the cells
HEY Announcement: August 01 2022
Since its release, some Kaabo Wolf King GT electric scooters have experienced serious battery-related incidents. Considering more recent cases resulting in fires, the manufacturer conducted a study. For a batch of 300 units of Wolf King GT scooters, Kaabo concluded that short circuits in the motor controllers cause the battery to fail, and installing additional fuses, replacing the stock chargers and discontinuing use of fast chargers would prevent these incidents from occurring.
Would you still fast charge bro and what do you think about this?
Nah, it was a factory 'upgrade' to the BMS that caused the issue. Kaabo released a statement on it today.
@@GingerOnWheels Brother, can you link to the statement KAABO released? thanks mate.
@@GingerOnWheels Can not find statement from Kaabo, only Voro and Fluid say anything about this.
