    Thankyou I changed my front tire and had bad brake rub and this took care of the adjustment that it needed. May I recommend if could use a light as it’s really tough to see what you are doing if camera isn’t real close with the scooter being dark in color. Also when I loosened the caliper screws that hold caliper together or aligns to the disc I noticed some brake fluid started to leak out, is that cause I backed out those screws too far? Didn’t do that much but prob a lil bit further than u had. Thanks again for using your time to make a vid to help out.

    Hey Dan. got a wolf king GT and done about 15 miles so far. On the rear brake I dont have any rub at all but when I do apply the brake, there is an audible, almost clicking sound while applying pressure. Id describe it as like the zipping noise when pulling a zip tie closed. very fast but distinct clicking. No issues stopping or anything and no rub at all when cruising. Any thoughts?

    • @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan
      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  Рік тому

      Hey @FalcoINC... thanks for Visiting Scootopia.
      Congratulations on your Wolf King GT Pro purchase, and welcome to The Wolf Pack.
      I have never heard anyone have this problem before, however there have been complaints of sounds like clicking that wasn't continual and turned out to be debri between caliper and pads.
      If you are mechanically savvy, I would suggest you visually inspect your calipers (paying close attention to gaps, debris, or poor seating)
      You may have to remove the pads and clean the surfaces (caliper and pads) with a damp (not soaked or dripping, nearly dry but moist enough to move or pickup debris) mechanic's cloth. When you re-install the pads make sure they are seated properly.
      Doing this procedure should take care of the clicking sound bit make sure you are familiar with working on brakes or have someone who is familiar to help you or do them for you.

      No that motor sound is not normal, and you should return it to the place you bought it, seeing that it's only been a week since you've received it.
      You cannot fix that sound. It has to be replaced, and I would rather, replace my whole Scooter than start replacing pieces. Usually when you have such issues with a Scooter, more likely than not... there are other pending issues.

      @@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan I’m not very mechanical but I found what it is i think, looks like a seal for bearings on the rear motor? Whoever assembled it just shoved it in and it’s not set properly so it’s squeaking when I rotate the wheel. Goes away at higher speeds. And unfortunately for me I bought it from a site called EZWheels and they want a %20 restock fee. I have no choice but to try fix it $$$ I’m guessing $100-200. Feelin like a lemon now lol. In your experience with Wolf. Is there a way to stop the knocking when pressing the brake? I saw some videos and I could even see vibration scooter does when those guys pressed the brake. Mine also does that and is very loud ontop make me shake lol honestly dislike that a lot as I own other scooters and when pressing the brake specially it should be smooth as it could be dangerous on a sudden braking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate it. BTW I tried aligning calipers and change brake pads and so on. I believe has something to do with Controller. any how any advise will be appreciate it.

      It's hard to circle in directly based on the issues you described but there are several things that it sounds like... for the vibrations, it sounds like warped or improper inflated tire(s), Wheel Nut(s) not torqued properly, lose headset jam nut, damaged control/swing arm(s).
      As for the Brake knocking, vibration and violent shakes... there can be several causes ranging from warped Rotor(s), bad calipers, improperly seated caliper and/or pads, lack of fluid...
      In both these issues, are very serious concerns and You should not be Riding your Scooter in this condition under any circumstances until Your eScooter is safely repaired by a professional.
      I would reach out to VoroMotors.com, or FluidFreeRide.com and share your issues with them. I'm sure either one can Fix your eScooter (I don't know the severity of your Scooter or how much they would charge) also, how long have you had your Scooter, and where did you purchase it? It can still be under warranty and if it is a manufacturer defect, the Vendor you bought it from may be willing to fix or exchange the unit if within the warranty range.

      Hey @Jose Ramos... first off, let me thank You for visiting Scootopia. If you like my Videos, be sure to SUBSCRIBE to my Channel so that you don't miss any of my up coming Power Scooter Content, Scooter News, Updates, Releases and Sneak Peaks.
      I gotta lotta New stuff Coming your WAY. So Stay Tuned Buddy.
      One thing we later discovered about the WWX is that it has issues (terrible re-occuring electrical issues, that can't seem to be resolved), Suspension (which we found right out the gate) and Stability (affected by sustained Riding by Riders 195lbs and over). These seem to be the most complaints I recieve and direct experience from my own WWX.
      I would recommend that you contact the Vendor that you bought it from and letthem know your experience and (if VOROMOTORS, they will be happy to exchange or make things right for you) let them know what you are experiencing with your purchase (it is ALWAYS best to do this right after your 1st Ride) the GOOD thing is that most Vendors are aware of these issues and have no problem taking care of their customers with an affected unit (not ALL WWX's have these issues but enough for it to be a big problem)
      Hope this helps you Buddy, make sure You SUBSCRIBE so that we stay in touch and you will become an Official Scootopian Brother which will have many benefits in the coming months.

      Yes, you are absolutely right. For some reason and we can't really put our finger on it but more than any other eScooter on the market (and they all have this problem but Kaabo Wolf Brand more) these Scooters lose bolts.
      It is highly recommended that you take the time, out the box when you're in that put your Scooter together mode, to remove... loctite (blue/removable) and re-tighten all your hex bolts. This is actually ideal because it will really familiarize you with your eScooter.
      Be very careful (don't use that cheap tool that comes with your Scooter) make sure you have a good Allen Hex Tool and press it deep into these cheap screws so that you don't strip the heads on them. I changed my bolts to better quality bolts so that I don't have issues down the line when I need to do work on my Scooter.
      Hope this helps Buddy.

    Dan, i went through the steps for adjusting the brakes on my Kaabo Wolf King and the brake pads still rub. I squeeze the brake lever as hard as I could while tightening the screws on the caliper. This is a brand new scooter so could it be that the pads need to be broken in more before doing the adjustment?

    • @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan
      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  Рік тому +2

      Hey @Thomasmachado7198... thanks for Visiting Scootopia.
      Sometimes after doing the demonstrated steps, you may still get rubbing. Typically if your pads still rub, you may need to True your Rotor (that means it is bent and you need to straighten it)
      Usually after truing your Rotor takes care of the rub. If after truing, you still have rubbing then your pads can be seated wrong. The last thing that can possibly be needed is a bleed but you will have levers that go all the way down to the bar when depressed. I don't think you need to bleed them.
      Usually the steps in the Video takes care of those minor rubs out of the box.

      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  Рік тому

      Hey @albertsternberg6852... Thanks for Visiting Scootopia.
      Whenever your charger is charging correctly, it should be red and once your Scooter is adequately charged, the charger should turn off or turn green. You should always monitor or be near your Scooter as it charges. Never leave your Scooter unattended when charging (never plug it in and go watch TV, go swimming, bike riding, outside bar-b-quing, run an errand or go to church) NEVER leave your Scooter when charging.
      There is a certain amount of time that your Scooter should charge. At that limit, you should turn off your charger, remove it from the Scooter, un-plug it and turn on your Scooter to check the stated voltage.
      Never turn your Scooter on while charging. Never use a damaged charger, Never overcharge, Never charge right after a ride, Never charge a warm or hot to touch Scooter, Never use a charger that did not come with that Scooter, Never use more amps than recommended by the manufacturer. You want to follow the manufacturer instructions about your Scooter.

      When you order from VoroMotors.com ask if your KING includes the newest Fork Assembly.
      If and I strongly believe that yours will be the newer version... All newer versions will have the Forged Metal Assembly.
      Kaabo will have warnings in tha manual, not to torque the Fork Assembly at all. They will ALREADY come properly TORQUED and should not be tightened by anyone, accept authorized licensed Kaabo mechanics (who will have the Torque specifications)

      Yes, the Dualtron X & X2 are the most Smoot and stable Scooters I've ever ridden. They consistently handle well at high speeds. The RION also handles well at high speed.

    I just got mine and been riding for about a week. My question is why do the brakes go like brake-stop-brake-stop-brake-stop and make a put put put put sound. Is it supposed to brake like that? On my emove cruiser the hydraulic brakes didnt do anything like that.

    • @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan
      @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan  3 роки тому

      Hey Buddy, hope you're doing well.
      Some Scooters right out of the box have slight rubs because of shipping. It is usually an easy fix... if you raise your Scooter off the ground by placing on a platform, turn it on, and run the Motors as fast as you can, then slam both brake levers to stop abruptly. Do that again and your brakes are set..
      This will automatically adjust your brakes before it's first right. If they are still rubbing then you do this adjustment on this video (which is a very simple way to stop the rub) if still rubbing, then you may need to true your brakes which I demonstrate in another video and a quick explanation in this video.
      If your brakes are still making noise then you may need to check the disc, they may be dirty or have debris attached. You can clean them or just replace them.
