      Maybe I should consider this. My skin is fine until I decide to eat a 🍩 or two or something sweet, which isn't often because I would look like a pizza in the face. It's so annoying because I'm 51. I don't know what I would do without Differin.

      @Marie It's a medication that blocks all types of testosterone or androgen in the body. Making the skin less oily and pimple free, also prevent androgenic alopecia. Dr Dray has a vídeo about hormonal antiandrogens. I started with spironolactone, and then with cyproterone acetate. Also, i take transdermal estradiol.

      @@inalikechina i love differin. Since i don't have any acne, and My skin is less oily, differin works Beautiful as a primer 🤣. With HRT You probably won't need it anymore and just use tret at night.

    I'm a 24yo guy I don't take steroids or any medication that affects me but I still get acne, not on my face, but on my back. From ages 14-20 I used to get it on my face, I guess it's hormones raging because I feel the same way I did when I was a teenager, the only difference is that now I don't get acne on my face, only on my back lol and the pimples hurt

      I used to have acne on my chest and my dermatologist said acne on the chest or back is typically a yeast problem. She gave me some meds and it went away, and has never come back (10+ years ago).
      Not sure if this info is useful to you or not, but might be worth going to the dermatologist if you haven't already

    My husband is getting crazy acne and I don't know how to help him. I always had acne since puberty but over the years I learned how to minimize it and take care of my skin. But I'm lost with his acne, I don't know if it's stress, diet, climate or whatever and I feel it's impacting his mental health.

      Have him wash his face and or body with 2% salicylic acid wash. Moisturize with something that is non comedognic like petroleum jelly or baby oil.

    • @KneedsItsGat

      Again, since acne is hormonal. You can have him take vitamin b-5 and vitamin A to balance out his hormones. A perfect supplement for vitamin A is through cod liver oil pills. Trust me

    How do you address hormonal acne? I keep asking my doctor for guidance and she tells me just to try things. I asked her that I wanted to figure out what foods give me allergies, she told me to "pay attention to how I react to foods". She told me to take vitamins but the fillers break me out or give me migraines and this is related to the allergies which are causing my hormones to jump around, but sometimes I can eat candy and have no breakout, but when I eat avocado or yogurt does. The only things I've noticed that helps me are lemons, onions, and bell peppers. But, why? I changed my diet to eat natural food and I've lost weight, yeah, but my acne is still partying. Why?

    • @KneedsItsGat
      @KneedsItsGat Рік тому +1

      Well are you able to take vitamin A and vitamin B-5 through supplements? They do a great job at balancing out your hormones. And those vegetables and fruits you just mentioned are rich in antioxidants that basically strengthen your gut.

    • @queen-asia2184
      @queen-asia2184 Рік тому +1

      You should get your blood work to tell you for sure.
      Everlywell let’s you take at home tests and it informs you of foods your body doesn’t react well to or you’re sensitive to. Primary doctors are not helpful in this dept. and most times neither is a dermatologist bcuz they’ll just prescribe you medicines instead of supplements or the right foods.
      Also I’m getting bloodwork done to test my testerone and progesterone levels to see which is higher and giving me hormonal acne. My doctor will recommend me to a specialist who will review my tests and will advise me to get my hormones to the right/perfect levels instead of within the “normal” range.

    So for me I get pimples in the same spot all the time it usually goes away but sometimes it does take awhile but I'm just so confused of why always comes in the exact same spot,
    So I know this means that obviously the spot is really dirty and it's has a lot of bacteria but I'm not sure how to clean it I mean I'm using a black soap and CeraVe moisturizer I'm eating healthy, maybe I should use a pimple patch I'm really not sure

    Hello there! I hope you're doing well today. I just wanted to share with you a beautiful verse from the Bible, Ephesians 5:1-2. Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. What does this mean? Well, here it is. Specifically, we're to walk in love just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us in his death on the cross. In other words, true imitation of God looks like loving others just as Christ loved others: loving God with all of his heart, soul, mind, and strength and loving his neighbors as himself.
