I know you did comics, so another option is a graphic novella, but I honestly think there’s a shit-ton of meaning and symbolism in that story for a full essay. During hurricane katrina all of the inmates in orleans parish jail had to be evacuated . long story short when the time came to be transfered we had to walk out of the jail in 4 feet of flood water get on a boat , well someone thought they would be slick and take a deep breath and try to swim away unseen. When he come up for a breath he was shot dead by military police..no one else tried swimming away..also we were there for 2 days with no food electricity or staff in the building before being evacuated!
