Happy Monday APS! Straight up banger today and I hope ya'll enjoy. And if you do, you might like the cartoon I included at the end. Thank you all for rockin with APS!!!
I knew of a homeless old lady who was in jail because she couldn't pay court fees, things that led to her losing her house. You might think 100% of the people in jail are bad, some are simply poor. Some are simply of groups hated by the court.
JOE, man, you should consider drawing some more of your stories more often, even if it's just a single panel like at the end this video! For real, this style of illustrating you did is straight-up professional looking. If I saw this drawing in a news paper or a web comic or something, I wouldn't think twice about where it came from. This is legitimately talented work, man, I mean it.
Just had to do 3 days of work crew for a crime i didnt committ. I didn't do what they say i did but i was a bad guy hanging w other bad guys and thats the breaks. This happened over two years ago. Yo Joe- I remember subscribing to your channel when you first started. I checked out for a few years, came back, and you had 1.8 million subs. I knew you had it and congratulations.
Remember, while its true prisoners have nothing but time to think of ways to get around the rules, the guards have just as much time ( and WAY more resources) to think of new ways to make Your life even more of a living hell then it already is!
When i was in jail we had time out. In that cell all it had in it was a little step to sit on and a drain in the middle. I got lucky. I went in there for fighting. But they reviewed the cameras and seen i was defending myself. And once the guy quit (i knocked him out) it showed that i backed off and stood against the wall with my hands behind my back waiting for the CO. I was in there for 4 hours. It took them 4 hours to look at the footage to prove i wasnt at fault. And they kept that cell like 30 degrees if not colder.
After watching Joe's videos and being subscribed to his channel for close to a year now, I have a feeling that old Joe is alot harder than he gives himself credit for.
While in nursing school my class got the opportunity to spend a day at a DOC Treatment facility. We were paired up with a “family member” a prisoner. We went to groups with our partner and participated. Not only were the groups intense and they would call each other out for things and such, but near the end of the day we were all (all staff, inmates and nursing students) to the gym as one of the inmates was on his last chance before being sent back to prison. It was crazy how they mentally, verbally and emotionally just beat this guy down. This sounds a lot like the T PAP. BTW, I thank you for your channel. My fiancé is currently incarcerated and I have learned so much from your channel.
Ok Joe I've watched all your shows and you've convinced me, I'm gonna go to prison. Get me some zoom zooms and wham whams. Hopefully I can be part of APS after I come out.
I did a year in County Jail and we had a timeout room. We called it... the cold room . And I set a record for doing time in the time our room one day for smoking after breakfast. I was in there for 12 hours. They completely forgot about me.
Hey Joe you should do a video similar to this one, like punishments that could possibly be given to you by other prisoners(i.e. bunk restriction, hot one, lunge the track, ect) that would be tight
Hearing this, it shouldn't surprise you to learn that countries with the lowest crime and recidivism rates are also countries whose prison systems aren't focused on punishment.
theres rehabilitation and theres punishment. punishment gives peope a reason to act like a punk ass 9 year old. rehab gives someone a reason to change their ways. we have a long way to go, but i truly think that people who want to change will actually change
The loss of freedom should be where punishment ends. Bad conditions, bad food, b.s. labor for next to zero wages, all seem like retaliation. Rehabilitative opportunities and prison reform are what the US needs.
@@jonadams4062 Just keep in mind, everytime inmates do something stupid, conditions get worse. for staff and inmates. 99/100 times its either the warden whose never there or the folks at hq whove never even seen a prison overreacting.

Has there ever been a time where the snitch was asked to point out the person who committed the crime, and they pointed out someone completely unexpected, like someone sitting in the benches with the families? idk maybe that's never happened but if it has it'd be a very interesting and unique story
When I went through re-entry prison in Georgia they had a punishment where we had to strap on our bedding matress and all and March around the whole complex for a hour sometimes two.
