Interesting that mentioned if someone is going to store their motorhome not to leave the slides open. I live in Alberta, Canada and have seen many slides left open over the winter months and have often thought 🤔 perhaps it would be better to leave the slides in. That makes perfect sense and the reason l follow you 👊👊
A few years ago when I was focusing on retiring @ 59, I gave a lot of thought to getting a 45' Landmark 365 & a Freightliner M2 to pull it & spend $350k-ish to buy the whole rig. Intent was to tour NASCAR tracks & roller coaster parks & see the USA. Short version is we ended up "stealing" a 6,500sq ft place on 5 1/2 acres in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains for less than we'd have paid for the truck & trailer. Fast forward 4 years & we've got the bug to do a little road traveling & are finding your videos really educational & greatly appreciate your efforts to educate us. Really nicely done - thanks mucho!
James, We love our 2020 Berkshire 39A. We make the purchase partially due to the more "bang for the buck" features you have outlined. I will say that the bathroom vent covers came with ours from the factory and the Kitchen vent is the same as you show on the 2019 model (ours came from the factory like that).
I have a Class B and not even interested in Class A Diesel Pushers, however, I have to say this is a Beautiful Coach with many upgrades that matter! Great review James. You did a spectacular job!
James, I am very impressed with this coach. I have a class A gas MH but my previous RV was a 32ft class C Forest River Forester. We loved the quality and features of that coach. We had it for 5 years and 45,000 miles. Absolutely great coach and from this video , this is a great upgrade. Thank you.
What a delightful surprise. It’s a really well thought out coach and, with two bathrooms you couldn’t ask for more. A really good and thorough inspection James and I really appreciate your enthusiasm. Here we go about how to say Berkshire. As it’s an English name we say Berksheer with less emphasis on the shire. I hope this helps to clarify the pronouncement situation. Had I not just spotted a Newmar to investigate I’d be on the phone now. Thank you 😊 x
Forest River really giving Tiffin a run for their money here. Very comparable features and build quality, surprisingly. Glad to see their trailer build practices haven’t tainted this motorhome (from what we can see). Now I’d like to see the closest Thor comparison too .
The amout of feature in this RV is just crazy. 39 ft with 2 bath!!! Thumbs up for the interor design. However, I doubt it has same built quality as your Beaver (or my Monaco : ) ).
Thanks for the look over. I currently have a 12 Georgetown and the newer Berkshire’s are on my list for when we go to a DP. I love the high end DP’s, but these are more in the average persons price range and look to be very well built and nicely appointed.
I think we're going to have to refer to James as our "Traveling AZ Expert" or the "AZ Expert Road Warrior." Have fuel card, we'll travel. LOL! Love the content, James! Where we going next video? 🤠⛽🛣
I always liked Forest River, at least the ones built before 2010. My 1st RV was a 2005 Sierra Toyhauler. It was built so well & we beat it to death camping all over CA & AZ for 5 years with literally zero issues. We paid $25k for it & sold it 5 years later for $15k. We upgraded to a 2010 Mirada class A BH. Again 5 years & literally zero issues. Not even a flat tire in 10 years traveling. Paid $80k for it & sold it 5 years later for $65k. Then we made the fatal mistake of buying a 2015 Thor Tuscany Diesel Pusher, not knowing all the problems the RV industry had after the crash in 2009/2010. It was a lemon & well that's a whole other very long & depressing story. 😭 We now have a 2002 HR Ambassador & she is built like a tank! Had the right engine & trans combo was most important (8.3L ISC/M3000). Dated but fixing her up a little at a time. Paid cash! I like the newer Berkshire's except for one drawback. Forest River always uses the small low torque engines in these giant RV's. This one only has 800 ftlbs of torque, but most of the others have the small 6.7L 660 hp. They sure are pretty inside & out, but its behind the scenes that counts the most!
A lot of these, uhh, lesser ones, are crawling back in a big way. I personally think Fleetwood currently has the best interiors, by a LONG shot. This one was very nice too.
When doing a complete and thorough inspection on these coaches you use those industrial wheel jacks and suspend the entire coach in the air to inspect the undercarriage?
Well I'm surprised at all the addon features for a 39" as well. Again the wood isn't nothing compared to that Beaver ! For a 40 ' really nice and the price is a steal for someone looking for a Great looking motorhome. I have to say that I really like my 2010Tiffin Allegro Bus 43QGP . Please let me know what you think about Tiffin's Power Glide Frame if you don't mind p lease. I have always enjoyed all your video's. Thanks for sharing with me !
Have to see what roof looks like in 15-20 years, our aluminum roof Monaco is like new after 20 years on the Oregon coast and Nevada Arizona desert. Have looked at many motor homes in Quartzsite, anything after 2008 is pretty flimsy, built for a short lifespan.
James , would you agree the fabric needs changing on the awnings ? Hmmm 🤔 roof have me unconvinced...hey Berkshire pronounced BARK SHA...so BARK'SHA ...I know , I know , Its a so called "posh" "upper class" part southern England😂...it was Nice tour of the coach bud ...
James quick question off topic, I just purchased and RV to put on a site full time in Florida, it has a rack and pinion slide out, should I support the slide with Jack stands like I see so many people doing . Thanks.
You should do a 5 minute Tech tip on every show like 1st of all how to manually retract slideouts,,,, They're properly winterizing in RV,, Or how to flush out and replace the anadizing rod and hot water heater,, Like, like,,like,, Doesn't the sound nice the 5 minute Tech tip by the AZRV expert:)
PS: I'm looking for a Holiday Rambler Endeavor, 2006-2010 38' or under if you see one for sale in your travels around AZ. I know its even harder now to find under 40' then it was before the thing, you know the thing! LoL Help a girl out!
Silicone sticks to everything really well, except Silicone. It takes alot of effort to remove Silicone residue. I personally don't like it but I did have to use it to seal some custom headlights I made because of moisture infuriating during thermal cycling.
Warren Buffett bought forest river cause they're probably one of the best RV companies,,,, And then hes gonna make them even better higher standards higher quality..... Warren has unlimited money and this will be a great brand in the future continually getting better...... It's pro tip from Warren Buffett the best financial investment you ever make is who you choose to marry in life.......lol,lol

If I win the lottery, I'll be contacting you. Very nice coach.
It's a lot nicer than I thought it would be, great job James!!!

I pronounce it "birkshur", but I say "Tomayto, Tomahto".
This is an exceptionally well-featured coach James! Tuanks for the tour!
The folding door access to the washer/dryer in the rear bathroom was the most impressive part to me. Excellent use of space.
Love the layout and the general feeling of quality.I prefer this decor over the Las Vegas Glam decor of the over the top expensive motor homes
You never want a penguin loose on the roof, James! ;) That is really quite a floorplan on the Berkshire.
Gotta jump on the first post! Now after watching,, that's a nice coach. Truma is the way to go but I have a Suburban Nautilus and love it.

So funny to watch all the mess ups at the end. We all appreciate your videos and the efforts to get them right!👍
Very good tour, thank you James. Impressive coach. Happy trails!

Pretty nice MH. Great quality.
That's a lot of motorhome for that price, I'm impressed.

Definitely a beautiful coach at price point for sure.
Nice coach love the outtakes.
Love the blooper reel at the end, words can be really hard. You are pronouncing Berkshire correct.
I really like it. Awesome floor plan and awesome rear bathroom
Another great video, keep up the great work.
That's a nice coach and very well laid out, lots of storage AND a stacked washer and dryer...
Awesome floor plan great job James
Love the paint job. The colors.
thank you!
Hey, this sure was really nice motorhome ❤
Thanks for the look over.

They are always fun to add on lol
Your reviews are really interesting. Thanks
Glad you like them!

Nice
I saw this same motorhome in Wyoming a few days ago hiding from the wind at a Bomgaars. Maybe it was you?
no, I didn't pass through Wyoming. :)
James, what’s the benefit of those 360 siphon sewer vents?
Thanks for the great video!
A lot of these, uhh, lesser ones, are crawling back in a big way. I personally think Fleetwood currently has the best interiors, by a LONG shot. This one was very nice too.
Please show the coaches with slides in so we can gain an idea of access when traveling.
I would be interested in that refrig lock. Can't seem to find anything quite like that one and I could really use one.
"Burk-sheer", trust me. As I come from a state that has a region referred to as “the berkshires” in western Massachusetts.
Awsome rv I want it
Good tour, how do you rate the rear mounted radiator vs side discharge?
When doing a complete and thorough inspection on these coaches you use those industrial wheel jacks and suspend the entire coach in the air to inspect the undercarriage?
I actually have a 2011 Berkshire 360QS for sale now.
Well I'm surprised at all the addon features for a 39" as well. Again the wood isn't nothing compared to that Beaver ! Hey James, great video. Any tips on how to remove 3M film from the front of these Class-As?
The name is pronounced Berksure as it’s also the name of Warren Buffets company that owns Forest River 😊
James, Where can I find the wipes to get rid of brown & yellow on the skylights?
Maybe named after Forest Rivers parent company Berkshire Hathaway?
Can you tell me what is a reasonable price range for a inspection of an older class C motorhome?
James , would you agree the fabric needs changing on the awnings ?
Hmmm 🤔 roof have me unconvinced...hey

Dis the Berkshire have an inverter?
yes 2000 watt magnum
How in the heck do you turn a corner with these rigs?
You should do a 5 minute Tech tip on every show like 1st of all how to manually retract slideouts,,,, They're properly winterizing in RV,, Or how to flush out and replace the anadizing rod and hot water heater,,

How much ?
It's great floor plan. But would take your thunder.
I like having more living room space.
Berk-SHEER, just like Worcester-SHEER. The hills in Western Massachusetts are referred to as "The Berk-Sheers"
Silicone sticks to everything really well, except Silicone.
It takes alot of effort to remove Silicone residue.
I personally don't like it but I did have to use it to seal some custom headlights I made because of moisture infuriating during thermal cycling.
I'd still take yours over the newer one
And with all that still NO CUP HOLDERS in the night stands on either side of the bed.....WTH?
PLEASE be careful while on the roof 10:05. I felt ABSOLUTE vertigo!! 😨🤢
Berkshire or /Barksha'/ I think your pronunciation is SPOT ON! ☺
It is "Berk" "shyer", not "Bark" "shear", we are Amurrrricun no blimey brits! 😁😱🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸
Hey, WHO CARES! 😁😱🤪🤣👍👍🇺🇸

I thought anything build after 2008 was going to be poor quality.

I hate dual sinks. Wish RV manufacturers would stop using them. Same with the gas stoves. Prefer induction cooktop.
He touched and opened the toilet and after that, he touch everything... arrg 🤮🤮🤮
it was a clean toilet
HaHaHaHa . . .clean freak!
No mater how much you liked it I would never buy one I’m a Tiffin fan and I love my Allegro
the Taillights look like they came off a Jeep Commander
Good eyes. Definitely Commander taillights.
Nice RV and two bathrooms, and like you James ,I to prefer the Beaver 🦫 😉
