Hi Morgan, that was a great read. Maybe you could do small sections like that with both books. It’s always great to hear the author retell their stories. Thanks for sharing.
As always Morgan, another great video. I feel like I am sitting down with a trusted friend of many years that has the same view on life as I do. 😆 (We are both Taurus’s so there’s that). I read your first book and it was great. I had numerous laughs throughout. I will definitely be getting your 2nd one. Thank you for being you and sharing your experiences with us out here. Sending love from 💜
Loved this, thank you for reading. Had something similar when I went to Morocco with my parents in the late 80's. My dad was so bad that we had to get a doctor to him in the end. Something I never want again!
We are VERY similar and I would LOVE to just hang out with you! My husband just looks over at me and laughs when you tell stories! 🤣😂 I am also an enchilada that doesn’t share covers and has had food poisoning like that. It’s something you NEVER forget. I was at least home and could call in sick. I don’t know how you fuctioned. I received the second book this year for Christmas (received and read the first one last Christmas), but haven’t started reading the second yet. Hubby gave you a review. ❤ Have a good day!! 😊
Hey ENCHALADA, love your Montezuma’s story. I can relate because I had a gastrointestinal bug once and there’s nothing more gross or debilitating than puking and pooping at the same time. Love your recollection of puking up pink goo into green toilet Really made me laugh out loud. I would really love to hear excerpts from your one and two, as I am blind and really would like those audiobooks but you just said in this video that’s not gonna happen. So I will have to wait for a future excerpts from your other books. Thank you.
I'm so glad you enjoy reading my stories! It makes me happy to know I make other people happy :-P. Looking forward to reading your review on Amazon when you're finished!
My book just came today! 🎉 Thank you SO much again for the note, and the video! Still pinching myself. 😊 I'll be reading it on my breaks at work today (and probably when I get home tonight 😂) A review will be coming to Amazon as soon as I'm finished! 😁
All right already Morgan. You finally got me. I went to Amazon and I went on a binge and now both of your books are residing in the Kindle app on my phone. I am an American and I've been living in Poland for the last 16 years and prior to that, 9 years in Germany. I have a BA in theater and while I've acted in a few shows, my primary interest is technical theater. I started as a techie in my hometown theater, one of the oldest continuously operating community theaters in the country, when I was 14 years old. I've been involved in countless theater productions in various theaters in the US as well as working several big name rock shows at my college. I've done every possible tech job from pounding nails to set and light design. I was fearless in my youth and no ladder was too shaky, no catwalk too sketchy. I spent 8 years in the Army and worked in Army community theaters in the US, Germany and Japan. The only time I ever made any money in theater was when I was in college. Because I had tech experience, when we had bus and truck shows and rock concerts on the campus I would get paid &25-$50 for helping set up the shows. I'll be 70 years old this year and while my theater days are over, my Polish wife is a music teacher, music therapist, pianist, soprano, and orchestra and choir conductor, among other musical endeavors. She has she has had an amateur choir for more than 30 years now. The choir has won several awards at various choir festivals in various countries here in Europe. So I still get a lot of exposure to various performances and I sang in the choir for some years.
Well it's about time! Just kidding. Just kidding. I think you will especially enjoy "Places, Please!" Let me know what you think, and I look forward to reading your review on Amazon when you finished. Question: you said you bought all 3 of my books. I've only published two, however! What is the 3rd book?
@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides Better late then never right? I'm looking forward to Places, Please as well as Stiches. I will be sure to leave reviews on the books. It might be a little time, I'm in the middle of a book now but I can always alternate too. The 3 was a typo. I'll edit that so as not to confuse anyone. I proofread usually before I post but sometimes I miss things. I wouldn't be a very good editor!
Hi Morgan, what a horrible week for you and the rest of the company. Luckily I have not had the 'pleasure' of having to suffer this. Bought your book before Christmas and am enjoying it immensely, being a slow reader still working my way through. Thanks for always entertaining us with your stories.❤❤
Oh my, that sounds brutal. I'm sure the audience had NO idea that something was off with all the cast members. Lessons learned for future adventures! Love having you read a bit and the premise of "story time."
We can always look back and laugh! Over 250,000 miles of travels that included 40+ countries, I'm happy to say I only needed the Pepto-Bismol tables once. However to this day I never travel without them. 😁
Ouch. That happened to me while traveling once, in Vegas, back in the 90’s. I chalked it up to the ice in the free drinks at the casino. There was a reason why our ancestors drank beer and wine. 😉
Morgan, my little burrito..... sorry (but a bit amused) to hear your story about contracting La Venganza de Moctezuma. Living in Arizona, I've been in Mexico over a dozen times and have never had an adverse reaction to the water or food. Maybe I just have a cast iron tummy....
Ha! I got that kind of violent food poisoning from eating a cream puff in a tea shop. I spent 3 days just sitting in the bathtub and running the shower over and over. Awful!
I'm not going to "watch" this, as I'm on a cruise and the books are at the post office. I hate spoilers, LOL. Looks like I'll have some reading to do on my Transatlantic in April.
When I was 10 I found out the hard way that I’m lactose intolerant. First I have to explain I grew up in Chicago so anyone who had ever lived in the Midwest knows winters & early spring can be brutal. However we were having a stretch of good weather so our school decided that we would have sort of a pick nick at this park that was close to our school. Well I drank about 3 or 4 chocolate milks. I also have to mention that in Chicago (this was the early 80’s) most kids didn’t take the school bus instead we rode public transportation. Well on the way home my stomach started grumbling & I didn’t know whether it was just gas or well you know & let’s just say I guessed wrong. I wound up getting off about three stops early and walking the rest of the way home. When I got home my mom began to ask me how my day was bit stopped mid sentence because she smelled what happened. When I told her what happened she was trying not to laugh but I have to admit looking back at it it is kind of funny.
You'd think the alcohol would have killed the germs....I've only ever been that sick when I got food poisoning from fish. Both ends going at once. I can't sleep with anyone else in my bed......thus no dating for over 20 years. I don't miss it at all.
I’m sure I’ve had montezumas revenge. Ironically, one of my best travel stories comes from traveling to Hamburg Circa 1978. We went a live sex show that was a real eye opener. I don’t think they have those anymore.

Bravo, Bravo! BTW your hair looks fantastic! ❤
Thanks for the reminder to give a review. :-). Loved
I gave “Places Please” to my wife for Christmas. She is saving it to enjoy on our cruise next month. Review to follow.
Hey Morgan! I thoroughly enjoyed your story that you shared. Can't wait to hear more!
Finished the new book last night. You are a great story teller!
Thank you so much, Cheryl! Are you looking forward to playing any of the "Worst Road Trip" games? :-)
Loved this, thank you for reading. Had something similar when I went to Morocco with my parents in the late 80's. My dad was so bad that we had to get a doctor to him in the end. Something I never want again!

Hello fellow enchilada!
Hi Morgan! I bought your book to take on our trip to Mexico next month. I will put an Amazon review when we get back!
Thank you for that, and I hope your visit to Mexico doesn't end like the one in this story did! lol
I hope not, that would be a terrible way to spend my 50th birthday!

Hello! Yes, the "double whammy" is never fun. I mean, I guess I can be glad I was at least in a bathroom and alone, right?
That reminds me, I need to get your new book! Loved Getting Stitches on a Cruise Ship ❤
I'm so glad you enjoy reading my stories! It makes me happy to know I make other people happy :-P. Looking forward to reading your review on Amazon when you're finished!

I just received a copy of your newest book (I have the 1st one) and look forward to reading it. Maybe Places Please pt. 2?
Morgan you are a great story teller! I was really cracking up how to tell this story! I got sick in Guatemala and I was given lime juice. It did help
Oh my, that sounds brutal. I'm sure the audience had NO idea that something was off with all the cast members. Lessons learned for future adventures! Love having you read a bit and the premise of "story time."
Yes, we laughed about it a lot, but it was hard!
Yes it happened to my poor husband on the subway in NYC, he was all dressed up for our daughter’s college graduation. Poor guy.
No wayyyy! Horrible! I bet you laugh about it now, though 😥
Oh! I wana nab both books~ can you ✨autograph✨them?! Also, fun read~ I defs vote for more!
I can definitely sign them if we run into each other at some point!
I got the revenge in Mexico about 5 years ago. It was a very long flight home.

Enchilada!
I think the blanket thing is a Minnesota thing.
Only time ive been badly sick abroad was when i went to puerto vallarta as a kid.
Ha! I got that kind of violent food poisoning from eating a cream puff in a tea shop. I spent 3 days just sitting in the bathtub and running the shower over and over. Awful!
Remembering 22 y/o again! Bed spins 😂
Holy Shit....That sounds terrible.

Sorry that they didn't make it there on time before your cruise!

That sounds like a fun story to think back on, but I'm sure it wasn't fun when you were living it! What year was this, approximately?
@ it would’ve been around March of 1983.
I love your new book however the print is very light and makes it difficult to read.
yuck!!! As I watch some friends & neighbors drop from Norovirus right now... Ewwww. 🤢

Both ends at once! Not a recommended experience!
each time I went to Mazatlan = Montezuma's revenge
Montezuma’s Revenge is known as Bali Belly in Australia.
I’m sure I’ve had montezumas revenge. Ironically, one of my best travel stories comes from traveling to Hamburg Circa 1978. We went a live sex show that was a real eye opener. I don’t think they have those anymore.
Great read please read more….I will be purchasing my copy .
Pepto bismal and regret!
