Thanks for the review. I’m twice your age, so I’m a real grumpy old man and I’m also frustrated with how long it takes some people to get their sh*t together and get off the plane. I will be taking my first Premium Select flight to Europe in a few months and I can’t wait to try it.
We flew Premium Economy twice last year to Reykjavik and London. We liked it just fine. Food was really good. For us, PE always seems to sell out first. Hard to get unless you book early. You're right about Business, my hubby and I don't talk the entire time. It's like flying alone.
We flew American Premium Economy to London Christmas Eve. We were seated in the bulkhead, which always has more legroom, and it was fine. The food was putrid, but that's another story. 😁
1:57 The entire airport isn't like that - Alaska's N gates are actually clean and quite nice. Unfortunately, as with the rest of Seattle, Sea/Tac has areas that live up to the town's grungy reputation. Baggage claim, for example, is the worst.
We flew Delta premium economy from Lisbon to JFK. We got a good deal and it was definitely worth the cost for a roomier seat and upgraded food. Still finishing the lip stuff and those little pillows are good when aches and pains need more comforting.
My husband is a wider traveler and we flew DL premium economy MSP-CDG recently. The nonmoveable armrests are rough, but also the tray table comes down fairly far - so if you’ve got thicker thighs, you won’t be able to have your tray table be flat/level.
😂 I'm that able-bodied person that takes a little while to get off the plane. I always just say thanks for checking on me but go ahead I'll get out when there's a lag in people shuffling by. I never book a flight where I must hurry to get off the plane and I have no problem being the last person.
We only fly Premium Economy now for any international flights. It’s worth the extra money and comfort. I am sick of sitting next to drunk passengers that fall asleep on me.
Premium Economy is the old discontinued first class seats from the 80s that's Delta had sitting in the desert in tried planes. I don't know that for sure, but that's what I think. I've flown in those seats back then, and that's the impression I get, and night by why they seem so aged.
I talked to someone in the know about my theory about old seats, and this is what he said: They’re similar is size/function to the old first class seats, but Delta doesn’t repurpose stuff. They’re new seats…
My husband is in his late 40’s and can and does fall asleep any time he is seated, I wish I could do that. I feel as all the areas on planes need to be cleaned better on every plane.
Hello Morgan, When I fly to Europe, usually I fly premium select and I love it. My airline of choice is KLM❤ and then WestJet❤ both have Premium Select or the equivalent
Best Premium I've been on Lufthansa flying Canada - Frankfurt - South Africa. KLM from Canada to Amsterdam to South Africa wasn't as good. British airways was a bit better than KLM. Canada's West Jet has Ultra Basic Economy where you cannot bring carry-on. You can however upgrade to Extended Comfort to bring your carry-on. 🙄How low can we go airlines?
Sorry, Morgan (the headset thief 🙂)... it's not your age that prevents you from sleeping. I just turned 60 and I still fall asleep pretty much as soon as we hit cruising altitude!

Love your Ron Jon’s shirt. Loved 20 min from there for most of my life. Now in TN
Great info. Thnx for the info

That’s good to hear because I have a connecting flight in Seattle on Alaska and seeing that had me worried a bit because it kind of a long layover.
@@bas3q I thought the Seattle Airport (Sky Club) was nice! 🤣🤣🤣
@ I haven’t been there (yet), but the Alaska Airlines lounge at the N gates is extremely nice and cozy!
This was really helpful!!

8:03 this is why I always travel with plenty of Clorox wipes since before COVID. They don’t really clean any of these planes.

Comfort+ also includes free booze!
Also, Delta is now finally calling it's top tier class First Class, for the first time since the 80s or 90s.
Thanks for the video

Excellent, common sense review, thanks Morgan
It's fine as long as you don't want a footrest that works and don't mind the 1990's fixtures and buttons....

We always try to fly premium economy on international flights. Much more comfortable

"late 30's" 🤭 Oh, Morgan... ❤️
Thanks for covering this!
Hello Morgan,

That seat looks like a dentist chair when reclined, which could explain the food particles scattered around the seat and tray table 😂
Delta Comfort plus also includes Alcoholic beverages
I only say I'm premium economy during covid, so I didn't get the good food.
I never want to be that slow person off the plane or be behind them because when you get to a certain age you need to use the restroom immediately. 😊
Return those headphones you “borrowed”. Bad Morgan 😆 😆

Everything should be CLEANED.

You look great!! Not as good as your younger sister in her 20's... but still pretty good! 😂
That tray table was disgusting!
