Here comes the comments of BF1 > BFV. To me BFV has a meaty sound with that satisfying clanks of metal, and BF1 has that powerful sound that almost makes it sound like it'll fall apart.
@@XxNoMercyNL Right not enough ambiance I guess. Though in BFV, a lot of the chaos is created by the players, rather than map set pieces (for instance, artillery).
For sounds, it seems they reduced the bass on a lot of the gunshots, and the echoes seem very different. As for models, BFV’s weapons look like they’ve actually been used and are not like the factory-issued weapons in BF1. As for animations, BF1’s are definitely a lot smoother but BFV also fixes plenty of the animation errors from BF1. The Repetierpistole M1912 for example has the player eject the unused rounds into his hand rather than in the air in BFV. The 12g Automatic in BFV has the player actually depress the bolt release button while loading fresh shells which was required of the shotgun at the time, and the Gewehr M95 cycles fully this time rather than part of the bolt still noticeably obscuring the loading port.
DF AMO I agree but a lot of people think BF1 looks better because of the “cleaner” appearance. DICE pumped too much grainy fidelity into BFV that it kind of brings down the visual improvement. I hope we get even more fidelity in BF6 without the grain in BFV.
im wondering why dice didnt reused hands from bf1, (but some changes to skin tone, sleeves) since the hands from bfv just look like they haven’t eating for days
As someone who fired many guns both with hearing protection and without one (forgetting to wear it. Not intentional) BF 1 sounds, especially the tails of the shots, sound scaringly close to real life gunshot sounds when you fire a gun without hearing protection. To describe how it sounds in real life, its the loud core POP initially then your ears shut itself off to good extent then buzzing starts right away then as it goes away your hearing comes back to normal and you hear the loud reflection of gunshot. Basically its POP...buzzzzz...loud reflection. Wearing hearing protection gets rid of most of the details and the loud/exciting parts of the gunshot so most people who fired guns in real life say the gunshot sounds boring. Of course its not very exciting but the cool details are there.
Fun fact: some weapons were actually corrected in BFV, which is very important. The Steyr Hahn (M1912) in BFV now preserves bullets during non-empty reloads, compared to BF1 where it just flies away. The Browning Auto-5 (12g) in BFV is actually the correct way to reload the shotgun, especially for pre-1950 production models. BF1 ignores this. The M1911A1 actually preserves the magazine in BFV during tac reloads. The Selbstlader M1916 was also corrected: BFV actually includes the correct extra step during empty reloads. Forgotten Weapons covers this important step in full detail. The M1907 SL in BFV now has the correct rate of fire for the full auto mode. Yes, the real full auto conversions were actually as fast as BFV has shown. The Lewis Gun Suppressive 97-rounder is modeled correctly in BFV.
@@stevemc6010 with all due respect the whole supposed rattling dust cover situation is about as legit as the ping of a Garand getting you killed in combat. These rifles which bared the seal of their Emperor from a country where they brought swords to a gun fight, ran at machine guns on guts, honour and tradition alone, were instructed to scratch away the seal should rifles fall into enemy hands and were more than willing to crash their plane into a ship I can't see discarding their dust covers without being getting into some serious trouble.
@@naruto97kyubi oh boy the guy with the anime pfp and japanese name is setting me straight. Haha jk. But I recall in a Forgotten weapons video mentions that the dust covers usually got discarded which is why they are uncommon to find on matching rifles today. Also Rising Storm 1 and World at War show the IJA using dust-coverless Arisakas.
@@stevemc6010 hahahaha would you be more at ease if the pic was a flamingo in a suit and the name was John Smith haha. Yea on the boat home, US soldiers would have to take em apart with the rifle and bolt&cover being kept separate with them being reassembled when they got back State side but didn't care for matching serial no. and put which ever bolt in with the covers being lost or discarded. Which is why as the fellow below mentions that Arisaka's are generally mismatched. True those games didn't either but I wasn't defending them either haha. At the same time oh CoD WaW what a game haha. Also did they not just re use the asset from BF1 which had the cover on so I'm mighty confused as to why it disappeared but it is BFV so yea not surprised either hahaha
For instance when shooting shotguns and bolt actions, they sound exactly like bf4 audio engineering. I think the devs tried to bring back a little bf4 vibes into this game, but that was hard to do with the ww2 setting.
No way, BF3 vs BF4 sounds are night and day, and might I say BF4 sounds hella weak. Here BF1 and BFV both sound excellent, in short I'd say you are right of the more oomph/bassy style of BF1, but the base texture is definitely there in BFV, its just more shimmer/brighter (so really a preference thing). But the fact that both carry the same texture and awesomeness, I'd say both are excellent either way.
Out of 72 weapons, there are far more unique ones than copied ones from Battlefield 1. I could seriously write an entire list of all the guns in the game discounting the BF1 ports
Soldiers from ww2. They were holding it like that, because it was more comfortable and as a bonus you could rest your elbow on your knee while aiming in crouched position. So BfV wins for historical accuracy on the mp28 over Bf1 on the mp 18 (which was actually also hold this way).
At 11:00 the Gewehr 98 and the Kar98K are two different rifles, you are mistaken for the Kar98A or Kar98B and don't get me started of the WEX and M2 Flamethrower. Overall nice video.
He didn't count MP18 and MP28 did he? It's basically the same weapon, albeit the latter have some minor improvements including a fire selector and uses straight mags.

This all apart of my concept actually. Have a read at maps that would play out with these factions if you wish. :)
You're going to have to use your imagination sadly as I don't have any cool pictures to showcase the map proposals. Although I might make them someday.

Here comes the comments of BF1 > BFV.
To me BFV has a meaty sound with that satisfying clanks of metal, and BF1 has that powerful sound that almost makes it sound like it'll fall apart.
I can really agree with you, BFV has some nice sounds, BF1 does as well.
Would you look a that... a comment that isn't just bashing BFV and is actually saying something nice about BFV sounds... u have my respect.
The sounds of bf1 make it sound more like war in the map. Bfv war sounds like nerf. Like the environment gunsounds and tanks shooting
Annihilator prototype Thompson?
@CIA BETA Wing Thanks
Not sure if its prototype. Seems to just have been a slang term for it
The animations/detail improvements for BFV are great imo. The sounds are a tossup
DF AMO I agree but a lot of people think BF1 looks better because of the “cleaner” appearance. DICE pumped too much grainy fidelity into BFV that it kind of brings down the visual improvement. I hope we get even more fidelity in BF6 without the grain in BFV.
Your upload was good, keep the content coming fam 😎
im wondering why dice didnt reused hands from bf1,
(but some changes to skin tone, sleeves) since the hands from bfv just look like they haven’t eating for days
BF1 All The Way !
Of course its not very exciting but the cool details are there.
bf1's gameplay is good but bf5 has better graphics and detail and guns.

If I’m being honest bf1 looks better as well
Fun fact: some weapons were actually corrected in BFV, which is very important.
Isn't that a Type 96 rifle? It has bent bolt handle. No dust cover either haha
The Japanese did usually take the dust covers off to keep the rifles from rattling, for their signature surprise attacks.
@@stevemc6010 isnt that bcause of arisakas in the US being stripped and sent as separated pieces?
Battlefield 1 = Battlefield Bad Company 2(sounds more hollywood, more oomph)
Battlefield V = Battlefield 4(sounds more authentic, less satisfying)
No
BF1 = BF2
BFV = BF2142
Both BF2142 and BFV felt like they are a mod of previous successful BF
For instance when shooting shotguns and bolt actions, they sound exactly like bf4 audio engineering. I think the devs tried to bring back a little bf4 vibes into this game, but that was hard to do with the ww2 setting.
@@pissyourselfandshitncoom2172 I like it actually, because a pinch of realism can be an art.
@@ReviveHF yeah wish they would go full hardcore realism with the franchise and leave behind the casual arcade. Make it like squad and post scriptum
No point in comparing, both games are good, I play both for fun
I really wish that they kept the semi auto guns in the medic class I really liked them there
The reloads in BF1 are so much cooler than the ones in BFV. They feel so much better too. It's almost kinda sad actually.
The best BF1 weapon is Seven Nation Army trailer, tho...

Graphics Gameplay Bf5

I really hate the hand placements in BFV, who holds the MP-28 like that?
Soldiers from ww2.
They were holding it like that, because it was more comfortable and as a bonus you could rest your elbow on your knee while aiming in crouched position.
So BfV wins for historical accuracy on the mp28 over Bf1 on the mp 18 (which was actually also hold this way).
Photographs from before show the MP28 held like that. Just like the Sten, it's always personal preference.

On the real luger PO8 you wouldn't be able to see the toggle-lock because its moving so fast.
At 11:00 the Gewehr 98 and the Kar98K are two different rifles, you are mistaken for the Kar98A or Kar98B and don't get me started of the WEX and M2 Flamethrower.
Overall nice video.
The Kar98k is technically the shortened version of the Gewehr 98. So it's correct.
Among many other things, Dice completely ruined pistols with both the sound and how effective they are.
Bf1 looks amazing whereas bf5 has that grainy look and that’s no bueno for me imo
Why didn't you compare mp28 with mp28 and automatico with MAB and the BREN R
He didn't count MP18 and MP28 did he? It's basically the same weapon, albeit the latter have some minor improvements including a fire selector and uses straight mags.
I will never understand the logic behind why you hold psitols with one hand in BF5...

I mean it isnt, Carcano manlichher is an italian design while the kar98k is a carbine version of the mauser gewher 98
Still can get the fact that battlefield 1 was created and fully released in 2016, yet it has greater graphic than most game.
