Hi Jorge, Thank you for this video, I got exactly in this video what I was looking for. Now CML is up and running on ESXI.
I also would like to add this in comment regarding Ext-conn. Initially there was an issue - unable to ping from CML router to external network and vise versa but issue is resolved once I changed the ESXi vSwitch0 promiscuous mode configuration from "Reject" to "Accept".
I cant believe what a tinker company cisco is. To use the images, you would have to always (not just during the setup) present the ISO to the VM. Never in my 10 years of experience have i encounted such a unprofessional solution. Why not just load the files onto the VM during the setup? Or copy the iso onto the Linux and mount it internally to the specific location?
How would I get my hands on the server addition...all I see is my personal edition and that's not working on my ESXi server? I get a "System not Ready"
Could you expand on the 30day trail you mentioned? I created a smart account, but I am not allowed to download the OVA file to try the product out for 30 days as you mentioned. can you help with this issue?

Thank you so much for this video! It was hard even finding documentation on this as everything is for VMWare Workstation or Player. I am running ESXi 6.7 as it is the latest version that can run on my Dell r610 server. I was not able to follow your instructions exactly as it failed to deploy initially. After looking at the error message, I deployed the OVF template from the vCenter vSphere client and was able to get it to work that way. I am not sure if that is a VMWare thing or because I am using CML 2.2.3.

I followed your instructions and installed CML-P on my ESXi 7.0. But I'm running into a problem, whenever i start a lab in CML, the VM shuts down in ESXi. I've read that several others have experienced that. Isn't CML-P/2.0 compatible with ESXi 7.0? Could you please assist and provide some information on what to do? Thanks in advance
Is your installation running on ESXi 7.0 ?
Yes I've heard there are issues with running it on 7.0. I'm running mind on 6.5
