Initially I thought to go even more in-depth, starting from the explanation of what a polygon is and what it can be and so on. But in the end I realized that it would be too in-depth.

Excellent!!! Coming from ZBrush I’m needing to decipher what Nomad Sculpt is capable of. This video was very well done. First the author shows procedural steps Nomad Sculpt requires to perform select actions. Second the author is knowledgeable of foundational sculpting concepts such as block up and multiple models in composition. And when appropriate merging them together then what tools are used in NS like Voxel Remesh. He also shows the important relationship of a low poly model that has sub divisions added and the importance of gradually adding detail of each finer level of detail. If that wasn’t enough he shows a method to rebuild subdivisions from a higher resolution model to allow it to be modified at low poly states like altering a face shape or expression and retaining the higher details. Nomad Sculpt has more capability than I realized. The new quad remesh along with face groups needs lots of development to evolve toward ZModeler or DSub Functions but it’s first release coupled with the techniques shown here is a huge addition. Kudos to the author🎉
Amazing video- thank you so much ! Just one question - if i have a model would the quad remesher be enough to get the model ready for games ( turn it into a game asset ) or do i need external software ?
Hi. I do modeling of jewelry for 3d printing. I have never done modeling for games. But in any case quad remesher is not to prepare a model for a game.
@@ArtChahur yes thank you i have heard of it; i was just looking for an easier and more automated approach when it comes to retopology. As far as i see the quad remesher will not do the job of manual retopology.
The paid version of Quad Remesher created by a third-party company “Exoside”, that made Zremeshe for Zbrush. And it works better. It has more settings and with its help you can create semi-automatic retopology, because it has additional tools for this.
It's useful for the “right” mesh, it's a way to optimize the mesh. Maybe someone can make a basic mesh blank with this and then finish it in another program on the computer for animation.
@@animator049 Wow - that's great news. Glad it's on android too. Thanks for writing. Just checked with Syn on android in version 1.9 - Quad Remesher is not available. There is not even a shortcut at all. forum.nomadsculpt.com/t/will-quad-remesher-come-to-android-versions-in-future-updates/15030

What is the difference between the paid version of quad remesher in tool menu and quad remesher - instant in misc tab?
The paid version of Quad Remesher created by a third-party company “Exoside”, that made Zremeshe for Zbrush. And it works better. It has more settings and with its help you can create semi-automatic retopology, because it has additional tools for this.
This is useful for animation? Because i dont know how to apply
If you want to make the models kind of, I’ll explain this way: Sculpting is like the sketch or concept art of the final model
It's useful for the “right” mesh, it's a way to optimize the mesh. Maybe someone can make a basic mesh blank with this and then finish it in another program on the computer for animation.
i cant find this tool(
It is in the version of the program starting from 1.85. It is not available for versions lower than that. You need to update the program.
@@ArtChahur it's available only for iOS, not for android users:/ as i am😅

That's correct. As of now, Quad Remesher is available only for iOS devices, not Android.
