Somethin tells me a wild bass wouldn’t hesitate to gulp it down.. or maybe it was because it was a chunk of buffalo and not the full shape of the fish? 🤔
Great underwater footage! Love seeing everyone up close. Good to see Lemon chowing down. And Bertha proved me wrong...I figured she'd eat anything. Thanks for another great video!
At least you are someone who takes good care of their fish and your ponds are so beautiful and your fish can't wait for the next fish species that you will put in them.
The pond is looking really good, and so are your gar and your catfish and everybody else. Thank you for taking us along on this journey. It’s an awful lot of fun.
The pond is looking great!! I need to come out and do the finishing touches. So glad it has cleared up like it has. Thank you for the opportunity to do this build!!
All of your videos are fantastic, relaxing and educational. I know a lot of us miss the original videos but things happen and we go on. Thank you for the quality videos!
You might want to feed Gilbert some insect larvae so he can get some calcium for his growth. Larvae make up an important part of their natural diet when they are that small.
Your content made getting through college so much easier 2-4 years ago, been a fan since 2017 and I can’t express how happy I am that you’re back, this pond is the best yet imo, feels much more personal than the last ones
I found it very interesting that the bass didn't like the buffalo fish. Usually they'll eat anything... Have u thought about adding a low energy heater or would that not be healthy for the Gar to be around
An albino channel cat would look good in the pond. You can usually get them wherever they sell koi. Pond is looking good! 🙂👍Btw did you ever find your melanistic turtle? Curious?
Hey mr fish whisperer, ive saw your video about lemon and i had a question, since albino turtles cant see very well, what if you showed the side of the fish to lemon instead of the front?
I thought you were suppose to stop feeding fish when it gets to 50 degrees or colder so the food doesn’t wrought in their stomach? Or is this just koi?
You should get a big redtail and put it in the pond. I did my research and they get along with everything in the pond also what happens to the melininistic turtle WE NEED UPDATES
Really interesting to see that Bertha wouldn't eat the bufallo piece. I never thought fish would be picky about their prey/food
Yeah, with how big of an eater she is, I was super surprised she just ignores the buffalo
Somethin tells me a wild bass wouldn’t hesitate to gulp it down.. or maybe it was because it was a chunk of buffalo and not the full shape of the fish? 🤔
I catch bass on cut fish every year while catfishing.
Largemouth bass are not known for going for cut bait. They also are not generally scavengers unless they're hungry.
@@williamleidy6713 I caught a 3-pound largemouth on a strawberry jello and garlic powder chicken thigh once.
"This ain't a catfish, Pete."
Gilbert and your gar are getting bigger!
Have a good weekend!
Beautiful day, but definetley cold! Glad to see the gar! Hope your day is going well! Thanks for sharing this video. Enjoyed watching the fish eat😊
Thanks for watching!

The Pond is Looking Awesome 🎉 and the Gar is Best Fish
Yup, winter is here. I slow down too.😅
At least you are someone who takes good care of their fish and your ponds are so beautiful and your fish can't wait for the next fish species that you will put in them.
Crazy how clear the pond is. LOVE the new content man. Please keep it coming. More turtles?

Bertha is so beautiful omg 😭💞
Great video 👍
More turtles!!
Thanks for another satisfying video! I really wonder how many minnows get eaten to supplement your feeding.
It’s been a while since I’ve tuned in to a video. What’s coincidence. I’m glad you’re doing well :)
Some crayfish would add to the ecosystem good for cleaning up scraps and snacks and enrichment for the bass and catfish 👍
That pond is fantastic!!
Very good episode
The Pond looks Amazing!
I don’t move so good when I’m cold either 🤗
First 👍 's up fish's Whisper thank you for sharing 🤗
All of your videos are fantastic, relaxing and educational. I know a lot of us miss the original videos but things happen and we go on. Thank you for the quality videos!
it was a fantastic video seeing you tell the story of these gars
I’m happy you’re back man love the videos since I was a kid
Awesome!

Very cool, keep them coming! Love these vids 😎🦅🇺🇸
I didn't expect it to be so cold in Texas. Well... it is almost Thanksgiving. Brrrrrrrrrrr
Bertha is remarkable gentle when taking food compared to the original ponds bass, They would full body launch themselves at your hand.
biggest snack!
Heck yes
They are moving like my elderly patients at jello time
Great vid! Billie Bad-bass didn't seem too hungry...
Those smallmouth buffalo are really cool fish. They live for up to a hundred years in the wild.
There's a cold front here, too. It'll warm back up, and Bertha will eat everything in sight again. 😋 She's got growing to do!
Shads are the OG food
What do they do if the pond freezes this winter?
Any eyes on that bluegill you released in the pond a few weeks ago?
I love your vidios so mutch
Thx

Bertha only likes chad.
I found it very interesting that the bass didn't like the buffalo fish. Usually they'll eat anything... Have u thought about adding a low energy heater or would that not be healthy for the Gar to be around
What part of Texas are you in. I'm in San Antonio myself
I hope u insure your fingers 😂
Only Shad for Bertha.
Oh geez. I bet they wouldn't have any trouble if they are used to it in the wild.
Get another rare Gar from Preditory Fins
Ooo a new video. Nice
Will you add some watter plant's in the pond next year?
Always good to watch these relaxing vids from _The Fish Whisperer..._
Any word on getting melon back? I know he escaped...
6°
Do you have a way to heat the water in case it starts freezing ?
I don’t. All the fish in the pond are native to the area and will survive any freezes we might have
These fish will be good if it's deep enough.
One thing I’m a bit surprised you didn’t do was put some adult bluegill in the pond. 7:04

Hey mr fish whisperer, ive saw your video about lemon and i had a question, since albino turtles cant see very well, what if you showed the side of the fish to lemon instead of the front?
i think that's actually some kind of quillback or river sucker but it's more or less the same thing as a buffalo
is there still a chance of finding melon the turtle?
Put a pike or musky
Can we get some weight updates for the fish
👍🐟🐟🐟🐢❤️❤️❤️❤️
is it possible to raise water temp by placing dark color material
so it absorb heat from the sun?
Need a buffalo for the pond!
Please, give Tom a bigger cave, it looks a bit small for him
Put in a blue gill school about 20 of them for the pond
good video! fish in your country is different fish in my country may someone never saw!
Is odie still alive?
We put drainage pipe in our pond for the catfish
I thought you were suppose to stop feeding fish when it gets to 50 degrees or colder so the food doesn’t wrought in their stomach? Or is this just koi?

Pinocchio?
Hello how can i get an baby bluegill? Do you know a website
Why not get a redtail catfish I love them
Where's the catfish?
Red tail snapper tastes better.
You got an email I could DM you? I am caring for an alligator gar now but have some questions since he is now getting too big for my 180.
Clickbait picture… Disappointed in you

Feed the gar and bass dead rats
