Nice! Nothing compares to a hybrid fight. I just now started doing well for hybrids on my lake in the winter time after somebody showed me a few tricks. There are so many shad in my lake and 2D/DI look so riddled with tons of information I never could figure out where the fish were. Somebody showed me how to use SI in these cases and it has made a huge difference in winter fishing for me personally! I made a video on this topic recently if you haven't seen it yet.
Bobs a great guide and fisherman we swapped lure ideas. His line of lures are totally different then u would normally use stillhouse and belton lakes. Check out his other video. Trust me buy some of his lures and u will be catching fish. U think u can duplicate Shad trust me not as his lures and he has mepps make them for just whites strippers and fished lower in the water column

I heard somebody once describe the catfish arc as a "cobra arc". I think that is an excellent description for any decent sized catfish. The cobra arc is slightly elevating but fairly flat arc with a bow down on the head end of the catfish rather than really rounded like a hybrid or white bass. I have found the really small "box" catfish in the 1-3 pound range may show up more like a white bass arc. Just be open-minded and if you think you are white bass fishing and the fish don't respond, try dropping some shad down and see if they are small catfish.
