It's a great idea to do a full video with the headset mic, with 6-8 mins of continuous speaking. Saying one or two test phrases like others do doesn't cut it
Just got mine, totally changed my working days, headaches and sweaty ears gone!
I just got mine, I work driving a concrete mixer and all the earbuds I have no one can hear me but with these things the problem is solved! And the battery is awesome I listen mostly to podcast and they are fine for that too!
Is this good for mic during a call?
Sounds like I need to try them, I'm a truck driver and sound like something that might be better
I just upgraded from the original to the gen2. The biggest improvement is the range. With the original I could not get from my office to the kitchen without loosening the signal. With gen2 I can wonder the house and the connection remains perfect. Multi connect also works much better.
I am so glad I got the Gen1. because I prefer mic on the left. some people have a really strong preference, myself I will not buy a headset with a mic on the right if it can't be swapped.
These are fantastic. I don't have a lot of calls coming in so they last a full week for me. Perfect call center headphones. They are not as good as my Plantronics Voyager Focus UC but they are much more easy on the ears. We have a winner.
One of those also available in a USB-A completely aware dongle, FYI. Same price, same everything, just a different receiver.

I’m surprised you haven’t reviewed the Shokz Openfit yet. Wanted to know what you think of it.
I'm looking for headphones like this but which control the extra function of MS Teams calls (mute/unmute, vol+/vol-). I know these are Zoom certified and not MS Teams certified but would love to know if anyone can confirm they do support those features in MS Teams. I have my AfterShokz Aeropex and they most definitely cannot control volume on MS Teams-- I mean, it's bad.
Feel these will be huge for work if you are in sales. Very interested.

Hello! Was there any noticeable audio latency between screen to headset via the USB? I'm considering getting one of these, but I know that bluetooth has around 200 ms which is too much for gaming purposes

I just picked up my Opencomm UC by mistake as I wanna get the UC 2 for the sake of the mute button even though I never use Zoom due to privacy concerns.

it's really weird to order a type C dongle and get a charge cable still with USB. come on guys, if I use MAC that means I
m still going to need a Type C in your magnetic cable too.
does this headset allow for listening to music at the same time as being in a call? especially on windows, some wireless headsets will change the codec being used when the microphone is active, and music sounds much worse while in a call with someone.
I know that this is the case for the normal OpenComm2, but I don't know if this is also the case for the UC. Would like to know this as well!

Is there noise cancellation mode? Can i listen them on the plane?
They don't cover your ears, that's the point. So, you can be aware of your surroundings. I wouldn't use this on a noisy flight.
