Salute Filipino Soldiers from Philippines😊
heard that senior citizens in south korea will give free drinks to filipinos and thank them randomly. younger generations seem to forget the war though but im glad youre one of the younger generation that remembers.
also thanks to south korea in recent times for helping the current government in the philippines
Filipino are lack of equipment but
Lots of determination
And skills.
Proud to be a Filipino
The Philippines was the 2nd most powerful country in Asia at that time, next to Japan
Until now, Filipinos are praying for your country against the threat of North Korea's aggression. May God protect and sustain your peace. God bless South Korea and the Philippines!!! ❤ 💯
Definitely gonna show this video to my Korean students. (even if they don't like talking about history that much)
It's sad that these days the history isn't given much attention.
Thanks for making this appreciation video. 감사합니다~~~ 🇵🇭♥️🇰🇷
D naman totoo Yan bola lang yan
The Americans actually ordered a retreat but the Filipinos refused and continue fighting.
matigas kasi yung ulo hahah
Nd masabihan Ang pinoy atapang na tao 😁✌️
matigas itlog ng pinoy
Hahahaha natatawa ako sa mga reply nato hahaha
If they refused to retreat, it could’ve ended tragically.
Thank you for appreciating our soldiers.
I'm amazed at your age you took time to read the the Battle of Yultong whereas a lot of Koreans didn't know how our Soldiers defended your country from becoming a Communist and how the Philippines help to rebuild your country after the Korean war .
I remember this story, some of the officers in the US infantry regimen are ordering Filipino platoons to fall back coz they are surrounded but not a single Filipino soldier follow the order and keep fighting back until the end and after other countries soldier saw what the Filipino soldier does they quickly inspired and motivated and keep fighting until noon. In a battlefield motivation is a big part in a soldiers, and that's what Filipino has its not that bcoz we are brave were just really put our hearts out and souls in whatever we do.
Yeah! They boosted other countries' soldiers morale
My father was a Korean vet and to this day, I am so proud to have a brave father.
Yeah we fight with our hearts and souls... It's inherent in us I think for being war-freak people when summoned... 😂😂😂😂
one more thing... because of philippine army USAFFEE experience under the hands of japanese... torture. suffering.. cruelty being a Pow...
... why surrender? fight till the end... do you like to be captured and be tortured by the Chinese... the japanese did it.. why cant the chinese... unlike the Americans.. if you surrender you are treated as POWS... these are chinese... like Japanese they will be cruel to Pows...
carry on boys.. no surrender.. no retreat fight till the end.
Thank you so much for this video. After receiving the "retreat order" from the Americans, Filipino soldiers ignored it but instead, they fortified their positions and ordered a counter offensive that startled the enemies giving the friendly units the signal to attack thus helping Filipino soldiers in taking back lost territories. I am a retired Filipino history teacher from Masbate City, Philippines.
Love Filipino and Respect us.. We will return the favor more than you will expected.
Always remember, . . ." When you fight for your life always fight with your heart not the weapon you are holding, and trust the person beside fighting with you."
And don't forget God to on your side... 😇😇😇😇😑
Thank u korean war veterans and fallen hero on korea at 1950~1953.. from Republic of Korea
We do not had a lot of modern military assets but in terms of fighting skills specially in fire fights in the jungle we are in top of the world
Plsss stop being cringy. Nakakaumay na ang pagiging overproud
na pinoy bait ka kadiri
@@sairamsald.3971 bakit hindi ba totoo kahit US labanan tayo sa gubat di sila mananalo ng madali 😂
I am a Filipino ready to fight and help anyone even if life is lost❗❤️🇵🇭🇰🇷
I suggest Korea and Philippines, Make A Movie True To Life STORY BATTLE OF YULTONG
it's refreshing to see these youngsters doing their homework and appreciating their discovery compared to those who witnessed the war in real time but have not spoken about it.
As one of the reserve soldiers of the Philippines, we would rather die with honor than kneel down to an enemy. As we say it in local langauage: Mabuting kaibigan, masamang kaaway.
Because those brave Filipinos fighting for your rights and freedom… 😊👍🇵🇭❤️🇰🇷
i cry waching this, thank you korean people for reflecting your history and appreciating us Filipinos.

Thank you also for helping us during our time of need, specially during Super Typhoon Yolanda

Appreciated south Korea .pilipino people are friendly people we don't want war we want peace .we respect All mankind in this world .we are not run in gun battle ..coz Filipino soldiers are born to fight .
GIVE SUPPORT FOR THESE 2 YOUNG KOREAN STUDENTS WHO WATCHED FILIPINO SOLDIERS BRAVERY AND FULL SUPPORT TO SOUTH KOREA GOVERNMENT
When they praise filipino soldiers, and i also admire Admiral Yi Sun Shin. ☺️
I’m late, but it’s refreshing to finally see content creators doing their historical research prior to watching a short video of that history. Unlike Handa channel where literally the same guy watched this very video, then 2 years later he had to react to a different video but also about the same topic and he didn’t even remember. Meaning they were just creating content for likes and subscribers, but does not even try to remember anything. The main reason why I appreciate KPO channel more than that non-genuine Handa channel.
We will fight until the end.... Never surrender... We are a pilipino I love you all Korean people
Thanks for remembering the bravery of the Fighting Filipinos who fought in Korean war... Younger Korean generations should watch this.. but not just Koreans we also our selves Filipino s shoul much more knowing about the history of the Korean war

오 필리핀을 좋아하고 타갈로그어를 잘하는 방식으로 필리피노를 존경하기 때문에 K-PO TV에 감사합니다🇰🇷🕊️

Philippine President Elpidio Quirino even sent his own son and son-in-law to fight in the Korean War. That shows how committed the Philippines in helping South Korea during those days.
That's true
South Korea and Philippines are long time friends ❤️ I have many Korean friends and some of them are crazy people when it comes to sense of humor like us😂🤣😂😂. God bless us all...

Gen Douglas McArthur once said:
"Give me a thousand of Filipino soldiers and we will win the war. And give me 10,000 Filipino soldiers and shall conquer the world"
That's why South Korea and the Philippines are forever friends
Filipinos are just peace loving people and I'm so proud that I am one.
The Filipino Soldier is worth dying for our friends like South Koreans.Remember to keep our friendship tighter in coming years.
Thank you for recognizing the Philippines soldiers that was fighting for the Koreans freedom. You should also watch the Philippines accepted the 1200 Jewish refugees from Europe escaping the holocaust that settled in Manila and Mindanao ( The Open Door),... the Philippines also accepted the 600+ white Russian refugees that settled in Tobabao Eastern Samar Philippines ( The Tobabao Odessy)..... Philippines also accepted 6000+Vietnamese refugees that settled in Bataan and Palwan during Vietnam war.....The Philippines also accepted 1500 Japanese Christian daimyo refugees lead by Saint Takayama Ukon,.... that's how hospitable Filipino citizen's are. We don't turned away anyone who needed our help as long as we're needed and treated as human beings with feelings and compassion..... 🤗👍🇵🇭
Proud pilipino her💯🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Appreciate it guys, Philippines was also rebuilding after the second world war and nations from tropic region had to endure winter. The pride and honor. Korea progressed so much. Wish to visit soon, thank you.
Thanks to korean people they appreciate the help of filipino soldiers during korean peninsula war
please spread this to your sisters and brothers in korea specially youngsters cause I think most of you are not familiar with this story ,thank you and we love you korea ,good job both of you,
Hi lovely girls,
I'd seen this video so many times in different vlog channnels of these courageous Filipino soldiers but without the help of other nations during your country's invasion and your brave soldiers as well, freedom had not been achieved. I salute all.
And just like what you said about Gen. MacAthur's famous battle war quote "Give me 10,000 Filipino soldiers and I will conquer the world", it's just we Filipinos will fight to the end with our balls intact!
I remember that when they were about surrounded by the enemy, even the cooks and drivers took arms and joined the fighting. The troop must have gone very hungry after that.
Thank you to this two beautiful S. Korean girls for featuring this...God bless you two.... 😇😇😇😇😇😇
salamat POs❤️
If ever this happen again in south korea rest assured that we will help again thats how filipinos value friends japan south korea israel and india are considered brothers and sisters of filipino people no matter whats the issue by that so called cancelkorea movement it will not change
I also would like to express my gratitude in south korea for helping our armed forces modernize their fleet its such a good gesture both of nation helping each other
Philipines has an advantage of military tactics during that time our country expirience spanish and filipino war during magelan time and second is world war II japan vs filipino american war leaded by general douglas mc. Arthur 3rd is filipino american war becz of the filipno people want free democracy but we thanks that the US recognize us as a one nation. If you remember gen.mc. A RELATIVE OF MINE WAS WITH THE PEFTOK. THANKS FOR REMEMBERING THEM. HOPE ALL KOREANS WILL DO LIKEWISE. GOD BLESS!
Thank you sister Korean for sharing the history...
Yes! They are both beautiful ❤️❣️
I love them 😙
Filipinos never give up
Thanks for your reaction on that video but it will never eases my disappointment of how Koreans mocked, belittled and humiliated the Philippines and the Filipinos.
Glad u know the history of Philippine and Korean war"😃👍
Thanx for reacting to our history
Filipinos should make movie of this battle of yultong
To commemorate these honorable brave Men
i wonder why the south korea doesnt teach this in thier history class, this is a VERY BIG HISTORY of their freedom, so why are these events not known on younger generations?
Some koreans still looks down on filipinos without knowing what filipinos have done for their country
Even here in the Philippines, they don’t teach this kind of things.
We only learned which countries helped in Korean war... 😭
Yes that's a pity that it was not taught in their history class condidering if without these brave Filipinos, they might be under the communist ruler. It's time to teach the Souht Koreans or they should know the help and life committed to defend them from their enemies.
We fought for our freedom against Spain and gained our independence after 330 years. And then decades later, our soldiers fought for other nation for their democracy. 💪
We defend our friend South Korean coz Filipino people, we believe in humanity.....we loves Korean people 💖
❤️
They need to think twice before they challenge Filipinos coz we sure fight till death💖. As General McArthur said "give me 10,000 Filipino soldiers and I will conquer the world. We are very proud and competitive but we also very kind and helpful. We Filipino's forgive but we don't forget.
정말 감사합니다! 필리핀 군인을 인정하기 위해
Not only participated but the reason why SoKor still exist in the map because of our Filipino soldier.
My Grandpa on my father's side was one of Capt. Conrado Yap's soldier I give big respects to all brave Filipino soldiers who fought for our South Korean brothers against communism in 1951, you guys are all heroes especially the ones who died. Rest In Paradise soldiers. 🙏🏼💖
filipinos love their friends and neighbors..
walang problema south korea is the best!
Koreans don't forget philippines helps you alot. If not that happen your country South korean is Now under th regimen of KIM JUNG-ON Do not degrade us. You must be careful for what you are talking negatively to us filipinos... REMEMBER IF NOT FOR US NOW YOU ARE NOT FREE COUNTRY LIKE NORTH KOREA.
Wait, they don’t teach about PEFTOK (Philippine Expeditionary Forces to Korea) in South Korean history classes? That’s very sad and yet we learn about the Korean War in the Philippines.
Just like the Game of Thrones, as the United Nations called its banners, the Philippines is one of the bravest bannermen that defended South Korea. Never, ever forget the sacrifices of our countrymen to defend the democracy of South Korea from the tyranny of the North. God Bless :)
Welcome and thank you too 🇵🇭 ❤️🇰🇷
❤️
some koreans didn't know about this so I hope teach them or give them a class about this war... HAHAHA
Give them 10,000 filipino soldiers, they shall conquer the world.
Yeyy K-PO TV
By showing respect, south korea gave it's pohang class corvette ( roks chungju) and named it to honour for captain conrado yap, now ( BRP Conrado yap) is most advanced warship my country had 😊 little by little Korea help Philippines by building it's naval fleet, now we have 2 advance warship made by korean hyundai name ( brp Jose Rizal) (brp Antonio Luna) frigate , and 2 more corvette warship in near future,
and this is why i am hurt when i saw a Korean tear our flag even it was just on a paper... and Koreans call Filipinos dirty, dark, short, uneducated... and knowing that the past years, Filipinos have been so very supportive to kpop, korean tv series, etc. some even learn the korean language here. Filipinos pour a lot of love, and what do we get? but i am happy to see and know that not all koreans are like this. I did see a lot of koreans express that they're not like that. but i also heard from foreigners living in Korea, that Filipino workers are among that are not treated well. So, I'm kind of love and hate about Korea. haha.. but thanks girls for appreciating our contribution in the Yultong war
Sorry for toxic people~ and salamat POs❤️
Most South Koreans are very discriminating against people from other countries. Of course, there are good people in South Korea.
younger korean generations dont have any idea that filipinos helped them not to be under north koreans.. they think they did it on their own.. very ungratefull so sad.. when we are at war with the spaniards and anericans back then didi they help NOPE BUT WHEN THEY NEEDED HELP philippines raised hand and answered with a yes and sent brave men to help and sacrifice.. even though we are rebuilding from the previous war.. my grandfather was one of them who fought and died there.. thanks you young koreans
The sad thing is South Korea seems not let their people know about the sacrifices of Filipino soldiers for them.
And some South Korean now a days even have time to insult Filipino people.
While North Korean hated us for a reason, remembering how we fought against them for South Koreans...
South Koreans seems to forgot about what Filipinos did for them.
Thanks for this review! Kodus to our friend, dear South Korea.
this is how south korea and Philippines brotherhood started up today❤
Fighting!!!!
So it came from Fighting Filipinos.
Filipino is born warrior and died warrior
