Personally, I’ve only ever enjoyed Shiny Breeding in SwSh and BDSP. The process is just so streamlined and engaging in those games. I don’t like breeding Pokémon in SV since you have to just sit there doing nothing but waiting for Eggs

Same thing could be said for shiny hunting, period, tbh. Just sitting there waiting for a shiny to pop up using sandwhiches…incredibly boring and unrewarding.
On the other hand, feeling some sort of risk and satisfaction by doing a 40 chain and seeing a shiny pop up after hours of hunting feels incredible. These new games suck for shiny hunting imo :/ also the rate at which you can get them makes them seem so much less valuable and rare.
I agree 1000%, the fact that it also requires a minigame for 30mins of boost to effectively get eggs is dumb, along with a egg cap in the basket so you cant leave the switch for 30mins and come back to a bunch of eggs. I hope gamefreak does not bring back scarvi masuda 😢

I love me a bit of egg hatching myself, when the first came out it was my personal quest to hatch a shiny charcadet and get a full shiny team (sans starter) before playing through the game...
Two weeks passed.
I soloed the entire game with my starter instead, then used sparkling sandwiches to actually get the rest of the team.
I never did hatch that charcadet, but I was granted a blessing of a shiny quaxly from a bundle of eggs I'd prepepared once I found out about the blueberry quest that asks you to hatch one.
As someone who exclusively hunts via masuda method for awhile now and completely loves it, this video makes me feel seen and validated, thank you Rad 🙌
No non sparkley pokemon were harmed during this video

Hey! I used to do this exclusively for years except for soft resetting. It was nice to have something to turn my brain off to and watch UA-cam. I kinda miss it but don't really need any of the shinies from Masuda anymore.
Haha same, unfortunately with the newest games they made getting shinies a lot easier so masuda method has taken a back seat. But I still love how you are able to customize IVs and ball choice!
I enjoy masuda method in every generation (except gen 9 since it takes so long to gather eggs). Still fun though

I bought a 3DS with an optimize capture card on eBay!!
I'm currently setting up to do some hunts for shiny Hisuian Pokemon in Apricorn Balls (Level Ball shiny H-Arcanine, Beast Ball Sneasler, Heavy Ball H-Zorua, etc).

I also want to start breeding in SWSH at some point but almost every pokemon i put in the worker says ditto doesnt like your other pokemon and then it takes foreever to get eggs. Any ideas to fix this so my ditto isnt so grumpy all the time?

One of the main reasons I never hunted this way was cause I never knew how to get rid of all the non shiny mons…. I actually still don’t know how u would in the older 3ds games
If you have Pokémon bank, you can just dump all the pokemon there!

How are you going to transfer the shinies to pokemon home? 😢😮
I assume he still has Bank downloaded on his 3ds, as long as he has that, transferring from the 3ds to Home is possible as support for Bank hasn't shut down yet.
