Casual pokemon players: yeah I just play the game and post game and play the game every now and then. Competitive players: I play in intense battles in tournaments and work out the best plays to assure victory. Shiny hunters: I like different color pixels.
The acheivement for getting different color pixals is a huge reward

@@GameFreakSucks they said pokebank will be shutting down at some point. And highly recommended people to send anything over they want to keep meaning they are going to close it shortly after. For now it's unknown just when that clock is gonna stop but it's coming.

I have INSANE Shiny luck too! On my first kartana raid I got a shiny, and I got a 15 14 15 shiny kyogre!

Man it makes me so happy to see someone actually competitively train and nickname their shinies. I'm not a living dexer, but I've competitively trained and nicknamed every single one of my shinies and always transfer them up to the latest games.

That unhappy throw of the master ball on the Terrakion when you have no other choice is the same thing that happened when I got my shiny Virizion. It's always a pain when you have to throw the master ball or fail the shiny.

Terrakion isn't even a bad master ball candidat. Colorwise, sure, but with the horns and stuff, it kinda looks like a M.
By the way, got Kobalium in Black 2 after 4.000 encounters, Virizion is at over 6.000, still under odds, but makes me a kinda nervous thinking about Terrakion

Unless you’re not using an optimized catching team because of the excitement and lolz the possibility of failure might bring, you could always use a Harvest Trevenant with Skill Swap and Trick that’s holding a Leppa berry. Shedinja also makes for a great wall when the opposing Pokémon doesn’t have any super effective moves to hit it with.

I just looked it up after you said it but wow I did not realize that Yveltal and Xerneas have a catch rate of 45. I found shiny Xerneas today and was catching them in beast balls, got it after using 25 of them so was surprised it didn't take more
Yeahh, it definitely helps reduce the stress of catching them LOL
When I shiny hunted for Xerneas in Ultra Sun I managed to catch it in a Beast Ball :)

For Pokémon go players, shiny legendary rates are 1/20. Even using free raid passes, chance tells you that you’ll get 1 or 2 per month

One year on the day right before my birthday, I managed to catch a shiny Groudon on GO. Literally an early b-day gift!
And if you think that's crazy, try catching two shiny Deoxys on the same day of the same month... One year apart!

I caught Shiny Buzzwole a couple days ago and no lie I named mine Larry too (after the Lobster) 😅
Movesets are usually the 4 closest moves to level, unless wormholes are different
I think the luckiest with shiny legendaries I got was with Heatran. Ran into 3 times the same day as I was trying to get a modest nature on it. It was also the first shiny legendary I SR'ed for. Ended up even catching it in a beast ball. Sadly don't have it anymore.

On my own grind for the Wormhole Legends, I’ve made pretty good progress. I’m currently hunting for Zapdos. After that I just need Moltres, Regice, Thundurus, Landorus, Kyurem and Yveltal. I even managed to get Regidrago in Shield while waiting for my 3DS to recharge
funny enough, your stream like a week ago now encouraged me to try and get a shiny lugia before you did and I believe i did because like an hour after that stream ended i found it! but it struggled to death because i was unprepared lol it took roughly 500 resets i believe

Man your wormhole luck is insane, I’ve had some lucky hunts here and there (had 3 legendary hunts under 400 srs) but on average my hunts are 3000+ srs with charm and my current hunt for tornadus is passed 7k 😭👍

Pokemon bank will be able to be used after the 3/2ds servers shutdown, at least the Nintendo Q/A said so, So hopefully you can still use 3ds games!

So one day in Ultra Moon i found Shiny Regigigas in less than 80 resets and then inmediately Shiny Regirock in less than 20

Apparently they are keeping pokemon bank up and not taking it down so you can transfer pokemon still thats what ive been told
Really sad about 3ds online, and unfortunately my shiny luck in this game tanked, after reshiram in 150, ho-oh took 2100, and after two weeks, and 5000 encounters with latios, still nothing, but i will still be hunting my favorites more casually even after bank shuts down for fun!
