To be truly immersed, possibly go blind, or have a seizure, follow these easy steps. 1. Watch this late at night. Make sure you're in a room where you can see nothing. Pitch blackness. Though if its not too bad and can be blocked out by step 2, then proceed. 2. Hold your phone up to your face. Preferably and inch or two away from your eyes. Make sure your phone is blocking nearly all of you surroundings. 3. Cross your eyes. This will give the illusion of a wider, curved screen. Sometimes, if done right, some parts of a psi attack will pop out as if it was 3d. Warning: I'm not responsible for any negative effects this experience would provide. It is your actions alone that govern your fate. Viewer discretion is advised. Edit: oh yeah. Put it on full brightNESS.
Those effects are great "interpetation" of PK attacks. PK attacks are using PSI power, that you can also call a power of mind. It's like telekinesis (idk if I write this right), it's using your own mind to do it and you can't see it, so attacks like PK Fire in real life would just set enemies on fire or PK Rockin would be an great push attack.
These effects are impressive for the SNES. Also I started playing Earthbound for the first time recently and I love it so far. Watching this video, I might actually use these effects for a video. Hm, who knows? I always have an idea for something :P

Pk rockin b is so god damn satisfying.

The sound effect associated with it sounds smexy on the Mother 1+2 gba version
Its the colors- the way how the pop its so nice to look at
It's nice to get to see the Omega versions because I normally don't get to that high of a level to unlock them
PSIchedelic! Such neat affects, especially for the SNES.

Looks like that awkward moment where you ran into a fight with Registeel.
When your atari 2600 trips acid
deedeet3000able lol
Really makes you wonder how many epileptics learned they were, in fact, epileptics by playing Earthbound.
The sound effect for Paralysis Ω always makes me feel like there are bugs crawling on me. ...I guess as it's somewhat supposed to feel, lol.
And the ending sounds likes they all bite at the same time
Or maybe there just are bugs crawling on you
PSI Rockin♎ is so loud
edit: this bish had to use the libra zodiac sign to do omega
Video tried all of Earthbound’s PSI!
The viewers started shaking uncontrollably!
Cursed comments.
Oof.

Epileptic seizure?
Someone should make the same thing for the PSI animations of Mother 3. It would be nice to see them with a black background
Nintendo: H-have you heard of Epilepsy?
Earthbound: Nope!
Awh man, the Atari shat all over my SNES again...
Cool

Those effects are great "interpetation" of PK attacks. PK attacks are using PSI power, that you can also call a power of mind. It's like telekinesis (idk if I write this right), it's using your own mind to do it and you can't see it, so attacks like PK Fire in real life would just set enemies on fire or PK Rockin would be an great push attack.
Girlfriend : do you listen to ASMR?
me : how can i explain
Polybius confirmed.
Carspace Fox lol i get it
Carspace Fox Indeed
These effects are impressive for the SNES. Also I started playing Earthbound for the first time recently and I love it so far. Watching this video, I might actually use these effects for a video. Hm, who knows? I always have an idea for something :P
+pixel3000nerd nah they kinda look like atari effects though added with the tripy backgrounds then yes they are impressive for their time.
How to get a seizure in 12 seconds

That PK Flash can really colapse someone...
Jowav oh shit
+Jowav This is how dangerous PK Flash is....Jowav got hurt and collapsed.
+Jowav That's why Wii U Virtual Console reduce the brightness and flashing in EarthBound games, to prevent epilepsy (etc.)
i play it in dark room with old CRT TV when i was 12. Yes, its make my eyes hurt as hell
Henry got hurt and collapsed... :D
+Yusuf Selman Abacı but he get up after he shut his eyes for 10 seconds (i was battling Giygas if i not wrong), not to mention Giygas sprite and "Fatality Wounded" music that brings me nightmare

Well, how do you think the developers came up with these effects? By drinking mint tea?
MASOQ yes...
Yeah dude “imagine.” As if it I’m not already fried
I'm considering watching this while high but maybe I could feel really shitty
Are you implying that I'm not already on drugs?
This is so great.
Those patterns really gives off 1970s motion graphics, so does the sound effects reminiscing analog synthesizers and Hammond rock organ.
I remember saving up all my PP so I could spam as much PSI as possible because I loved the sound effects so much.
These sound effects are satisfying to listen too i like the ones between 0:03 and 0:07
These animations are probably one of the main reasons I liked this game so much when I played it a year or two ago
The PSI Fire animations look like something out of the Virtual Boy.

Guys it’s safe dw. It looks more like the swastika from India, which is actually a good luck sign. If it was tilted slightly, then that would be bad. But it looks more like the Indian swastika, which is supposed to give good luck
Genuinely love the design effort these have. Some of these are so crunchy.
