- This is an EarthBound/Mother 2 comparison video about HP stats. The bosses are marked with a violet hexagon while the common enemies have a red one. I decided to add infinity HP to giygas because it feels like it'd be weird to think that he has a mere 25000 HP.

Gigyas has 20000 hp. It regenerates every turn, thats why the only way to win is praying.

Erm! Actually! Giygas has 20,000 health, but heals itself every attack until your final prayer does more than his health so he can no longer heal himself! 🤓

The bosses felt easier than the final starmen and ghosts of starmen
especially the rat from Foursides´ sanctuary died so fast in my playthrough that i thought it barely had any HP but apparently its def is just bad or you are just too strong because that fight can be done after diamond dog and u have all 4 members.
@@oles9196you can do them in different moments. I did the it early so it was harder.
i played the game since new and it was like 20 years later i figured out the rabbits foot on Paula boosts her speed enough to out speed Ghost and get a shield up before he starts off with Starstorm α, the key thing your missing in that statement is at the end of the game earthbound has one of the nastiest enemy combos of any rpg i've ever played, Ghost which will be a primary nuker, ReactorRobot which will run support, and Final who is a secondary nuker, but also revives making him the primary target, thankgod his brainshock is pretty much useless

nope, its 2000 then infinite/undefined. Giygas's final phase cannot be damaged by any attack besides the scripted prayers, even then, the damage doesn't mean anything

Bionic Kraken is a common enemy in the last area, while the normal kraken is a boss you defeat once.

Giygas has only 20k health, not infinite. It's only scripted because he heals every turn and the only attack to do 20k in one hit is the scripted pray.
