I like the 100 - 2021, but would be wiling to try the 98. As far as liking it; I haven't seen anyone pick it up that didn't love it. The 2023 Pure Aero is great.

Just switched to this from yonex v core pro 97. I tried the other 98s e zone v core 98 and extreme pro. Found this to be the best all around. Great for serves. Gives you confidence to hit out as well as plenty of control. Enough power as well for put your opponents under pressure.

      I made the same swap.
Really impressed with the level of stability with a pretty low static weight and headlight balance. Rare combination.
Great balance between pop and control and hits a heavy ball.
I’ve found service returns to be a standout aspect of the frame.

Alcaraz fan here who bought the racquet without demoing. I do play with a whippy forehand and all court style so this racquet played quite well for me. Only problem was the vibrations to my arm. They were to the point my elbow felt numb after a match one day and I made the call to stop using this stick. It’s great but was too jarring to me. I’ve since switched to the Head Extreme Pro and haven’t had any problems.
Note, I’ve tested this with multiple strings, both poly and multi. I imagine natural gut would have been fine but not exactly a feasible option lol

@@marionikols4374for me if a racquet needs to have a dampener to be comfortable its a problem

Absolute beast of a racket. Uncompromising? Sure.
    Don’t like it? It doesn’t like you…
Rumor is Carlos plays it stock so just swing like he does. Huge presence in D1 which has weight as they are the best players not getting free sticks.

I feel like Carlos might have a little bit of lead in there that we may not know about but I could definitely see him using it stock off the shelf

      Probably EZONE 98

I would start with the VCORE 98 since it is a spin racquet that is a little more control oriented. If you wanted to go on the power side, then you could do the EZONE 98

This review is awful. Too many generalisation and wrong information.

Agreed. Quality died when UA-cam starting monetizing videos. Every fool with a phone camera thinks they can produce good content but that's just not the case.
