Been there, done that. Through with Seattle. Guess if you've never been there, it might be an experience. But the crazy people downtown. Literally crazy. Where else in North America are there nuts running loose? Aggressive, too!
I completely understand your point. It is rather unfortunate 😔. But overall, we still enjoyed our brief trip to Seattle. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts.
@@worthytravels On my most recent trip, I also learned never drive north from Seattle anywhere near rush hour. People drove like maniacs! I settled on buying abut 12 hours of parking, visited Pier 54 or whatever, then got on the highway at midnight. Pioneer Square is not the only place maniacs were encountered. Or you can just park in Everett and ride the Sounder into town. Might turn out cheaper than the parking. But I've done more trips than really necessary. I once rented a room in a south suburb not realizing the nature of the neighborhood.
@@JimMork oh wow! Do you travel to Seattle for work? It was crazy busy too when we were there but I guess it was because we came on a weekend and there were quite a number of tourists using Seattle as a base for their respective Alaska cruises.
@@worthytravels Never for work. I have a niece in BC. Plus I passed through on the way to Bellingham for what I expected would be moderate July weather. That part turned out alright. I just found the Seattle highway layout crazy except in off hours. I-5 is seemingly a very busy highway. I recall one time I was headed south and it took a solid hour to get out of Seattle. So northbound or southbound my afternoon experience was unpleasant.
@@worthytravels Seattle has a set of rules outsiders need to understand and conform to. I never found any helpful guide, went to the school of hard knocks.
