Thank you beautiful video!
So buy a regular ticket with cash, to go along the special train?
@morpholochic8167 yes. You can buy the special train fare online. And make sure to book your seats. If you want to book the booth (which is what we had), you have to pay for all 4 seats in the booth whether there are 4 of you or not. Then when you get to the station, buy a regular base fare ticket to gain entry through the gates. Or if you have an IC card, you can use that to get past the gate.
Thank you so much, this is so helpful
@@morpholochic8167 you’re very welcome! Thanks so much for your comment and for watching our video 🙂
Is that in Tromso? It looks remote
@robinmangala3536 as mentioned in our main video, just a few miles outside of Tromso. We got lucky and we didn't have to go far.
6:55 nr.5; visit out of season.
@@bjarnyg absolutely! Great advice. Apologies I just thought I’d include the list because I felt so bad for the residents when we were there. Thank you for your comment!
Planning my trip for fall 2026!
@@EvilCarnisa that’s awesome! Have a wonderful trip and let us know if we can help you with your planning! 🙂
@@worthytravels thank you, I will! I keep looking through different videos for ideas to plan for. All of the tours are very reasonably priced, I did have a question for you- is there a “night life”, in the way of maybe clubs or bars, by chance? Thank you for your time.
@@EvilCarnisa yes, there are bars in Tromso that stay open until 1 AM or 3 AM, depending on the day (they close early during the week and Sundays). However, they have alcohol laws to follow and drinks are on the expensive side. I hope this helps!
@ it does, thanks!
3 days is crazy short! My first time there I was there for 8 nights
@gumerzambrano yeah, 3 days felt very short. Unfortunately, we had a lot of places to visit and we only had 15 days in Japan. Maybe on our 4th trip back to the country, we’ll be able to stay longer
What time did you start your day and end for the map itinerary? Going to Switzerland in August and want to dive into things when I land
@@OfficialAbyMusic hi there! We normally started at 9 and would end our day between 8 and 9 PM (with breaks in between).
Great video. Helps heaps as we are there in around a months time. Just out of curiosity, have you done Tokyo / planning on doing a vid of you have. Keep up the great work.
@parrabloke Thank you! Yes, we have done Tokyo and our plan is to release it the week after next. Our next video will be Kyoto and we hope you will watch it too. 🙂 Have a wonderful trip to Japan and please let us know if there is anything we can help you with.
Hello. Thank you for the info. What time were you guys starting your day at and what time you guys ended on average?
@abnerguajardo250 Hi there! Thank you for watching our video. We woke up super early everyday due to jet lag and wandered around but then we went back to the hotel to chill out and have breakfast. After that, we normally started our days between 8:30 to 9 AM since majority of the attractions we went to opened at 10. And we would take a mid-afternoon break in our hotel room to rest our weary legs and feet (from around 3 - 4 PM), then we would head out again. We normally ended our days between 9 to 11 PM. Long days with lots of walking but it was well worth it! I hope this helps. 🙂
Go to Mary Kings close and experience the ghosts also go and see the ancient village under the city ! 🏴💜
@HelenBain-th9nm thank you. We did go to Mary King’s Close and the village underneath. It was a very unique experience. And the tour that I showed in the video really helped us understand what went on down there. Very fascinating! 🙂
Really annoying seeing someone reading off a piece of paper...

York is on our bucket list for 2025 and looked what just popped up. So beautifully filmed, loved the mixture of timelapse and creative angles. A very inspiring tour and we’ll definitely book a trip this year 🤩 Such rich heritage. Have you ever visited Winchester? I think you’d enjoy a trip there too.
@@NicolaExplores thank you so much! We are so happy you enjoyed our video. York is such a beautiful place, it’s definitely worth a visit. And yes, Winchester is close to our hearts. Very good video with lots of helpful tips. But Osaka is expensive? What do you think
@AnneChappel-q1i thank you so much! We didn't think Osaka was expensive at all and there are so many ways to save money while there. I would say eating out all the time at restaurants and taking taxis can easily add up. However, there are so many food stalls and convenience stores with amazing food. The trains and buses are good too.

Lovely video, thanks, glad you both enjoyed my hometown 😊 If you have chance to visit again, I highly recommend Betty’s Tea Rooms. The lines may be long but they soon go, and are well worth the wait. Delicious food & drink, and a quintessentially old-fashioned British experience!

@SootheSound thank you! It didn’t. To comply with laws regarding drones, any drone footage we use without us in it is always stock footage. I hope this helps.
@worthytravels Great thank you letting me know. Adding such footage really gives a video that extra edge. Using royalty free is a great way to do it 👍.
I love the snow monkeys and Japan! I am dutch and the japanese love to watch our baby seal facility livestream. Baby seals get sometimes sick on the beach due to human interference. So I always talk to the japanese about the spring monkeys. The would use kanji, which I do not understand, but they would end their message with 🐒♨️. Wildlife is a beautifull thing, and needs to be protected accross the world.
We can't tell you how happy your message has made us. We're so glad to hear that you're passionate about wildlife like we are. 🙂 And we agree, they definitely need to be protected and cared for across the world. The snow monkeys are so precious, it's hard not to fall in love with them. And we love baby seals too! Thanks for your lovely comment!

I've never been to the Lakes district before. I've read 9 of the 12 books in the Swallow and Amazons series by Arthur Ransome during the pandemic and looking forward to seeing the Lakes District one of the areas of inspiration for some of his books. From what I've read Coniston and Windemere are some of the areas that inspired the author. I also want to see where Beatrix Potter lived. Some of the places in your video make me think of the Isle of Skye in Scotland a bit which my husband and I visited last year. Thanks for making this beautiful video. I can hardly wait to get there, I can never get enough of England. Greetings from Florida.
@@lydiaart thank you so much for your wonderful comment! You will definitely love the Lake District! And Adrian and I are so glad to hear that you can never get enough of England. It’s the country we both call home and we love it. ❤️ Have a wonderful trip and please let us know if we can help you with anything.
I just received a book I ordered from England called The Lost Rainforest of Britain by Guy Shrubsole that looks really interesting. There's a rainforest in the Lakes Region called Borrowdale I want to see. So many great places to see in England. I've made 3 trips to Norfolk, England where my Dad's ancestors lived back into the 1600s (5 generations in Necton), and a trip to Cornwall to see where Dad's other Grandfather lived. I need to start exploring the rest of England more now. Thanks again for the video.
@@lydiaart you're very welcome! So glad to hear that you're very keen to explore England. It's such a beautiful country with so many places to visit. Take care!
This was a fantastic video. I’ve always loved learning about the Japanese snow monkeys. Happy new year to you both xx

Great video. Where did you stay? What Hotel, hostel, Air BnB?
@@jeffreywagner5234 thank you! We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in the city center. 🙂
Great video ❤
@kcs4181 Thank you so much!
Absolutely love the Lakes , been visiting regularly for many years. Just a suggestion, Hardknott Pass down into Eskdale is quite a distance from the Struggle especially on those tiny mountain roads, and the lovely Blea Tarn featured is on the road down into Great Langdale. All beautiful parts but not quite as easy to get to as shown....in my opinion. Nevertheless great video.👏👏
@daveorange2379 Thank you, Dave. You're right, they were very difficult to reach and maybe we should have stressed on that a little bit more. I appreciate your suggestions. We will make sure to keep that in mind for our future videos. P.S. I was screaming the entire way in the car out of fright! Poor Adrian needed earplugs. Haha..it's been a while since I've driven on the small roads in England. Take care - Denise
Want to see more . The episode is very nice liked it .
@JayantiDutt-r9r Thank you so much! We have more videos coming up and we will release a new one tomorrow. 🙂
Went for 3 days. Didn’t see any lights :(
Oh no! Sorry to hear that. That’s happened to us on multiple occasions too. We went to Finland twice and to Iceland and didn’t see anything so we know how it feels. 🤞 you’ll have better luck next time. Hopefully you still had a great time?
were you able to go on any hikes in the national park closeby ?
@@vishnupriyan904 no serious hiking but we were able to stroll around Abisko National Park
York is lovely, but it's often too crammed with tourists to properly enjoy and the prices are silly. I recommend trying Beverley, which is like a smaller version of York and more friendly.
Thanks for your comment! You are absolutely right! I think there are a lot of beautiful places that don’t get the tourists they deserve, especially from international travelers. In some ways that’s good because they remain a little less spoilt than when too many people visit. Still would love for more people to visit more of England. - Adrian
Are the dog sled companies vetted for humane care and treatment of their dogs?
Thanks for your comment. As dog owners ourselves we really appreciate your question. Unfortunately you’d have to check with each company individually but based on our experience in Kiruna the dogs and the staff have a really special bond that they build up. They are also working to processes that have been handed down from generations. We felt comfortable with the company we went with but would probably suggest you do your own research to give yourself peace of mind. By the way the huskies are adorable! We wish we had the time and the space to have one 🐶❤️
