I spent my whole teenage years straightening it with flat irons and chemicals because I felt like straight hair was so beautiful. It was so damaged I had to shave my head, I'm 20 it's starting to grow back and I have this new found appreciation for my texture, now just trying to figure out how to take care of it. Super appreciative of these videos. Wish UA-cam was a thing when I was in middle School 🤷🤷

It has to do with her curl pattern. Since she has 2-ish hair, it doesn’t shrink as opposed to types 3/4. Try diffusing or picking for volume

when you cut your hair the curls have less weight on them so they are most likely going to be curlier depending on how naturally oily your hair is
