I understand that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder but I feel like he did a half butt job on the kinkiest hair textures (2:01 and 3:08). I was expecting something more for their hair. He could have done a better job in styling their hair. The short afro he could have done a gel scrunch with a lift or tiny coils and pull them apart or tiny bantu knots. With the bleached kinky afro hair, he could have done two strands flat twists on the side of her head and the rest just natural. All of these women are pretty. I am just not satisfied with the hair styles he chose for those two. Because I have seen women with the same texture style their hair and it was just off the wall gorgeous. I've seen better!

I agree. My first thought was he half styled the young lady with 4c hair. He could have flat twisted the top, put in comb coils, more bantu knots.... anything other than what he did.

What is striking about her?
Because she's tan, has dewy, natural looking makeup, making her look healthy; full lips, making her look sexy, and her hair formed perfect spiral curls, making her look even more voluptuous.
She just had the full package going for her, but shout out to the black girl with blond hair. Not everyone can make that work, and keep their hair full, but her's looked amazing.
I think its the kinky curly hair. People love seeing black features on ambiguous looking girls (or at least black people do). And also most people who clicked this video probably have kinky curly hair making the girl more relatable. I like the long blonde black girl cause its not every day you see something like that but it works on her. And I love seeing black girls experiment with color and have length. The two things people claim we don't have and shouldn't do.
I was about to say that her hair isn't "kinky"; just curly. But I now realize that I was confusing the first girl (who's also striking, and mixed looking) for the second one. So I agree with you about everything. Especially about the black girl with blond hair. Not even white girls do bottle blond right, most of the time. I know the comment section is heated about the last girl, but it really was nice to see something close to my hair type for the first time in a styling video. Although her hair seems straight, it’s likely that she needs to use products for curly hair (trust me, straight hair products do NOT work on this hair type). Also, it’s this kind of hair that can look straight some days but then have full-on complete curls the next. I promise you, she doesn’t have straight hair :)

Thank you so much for these great ideas! I’ve been straightening my hair just about everyday for the last 12 years for school/work because I have no idea what to do with my curly hair. When I left it natural I would get comments from my family that I need to go fix my hair and wearing ponytails everyday isn’t cute. We definitely need more hairstyling videos for girls with beautiful volumptious curls.
