Becoming an Antiques Dealer! My journey so far in running an online eBay reselling antique business

My first vlog! This video gives a bit more information as to what I am about, how I've started my journey and looks at some of my best sales so far and the items finishing their eBay auction shortly, plus today's new purchases! The channel is taking a new direction, rather than showcasing items I am now going to be documenting my journey from an initial £6 purchase and hopefully inspire so more people to get into the reselling business! Ward Antiques is very much a hobby as I work full time so I can really enjoy the dealing aspect and get a great buzz from trading items, bought from local auction houses and reselling on eBay. So, I have a question…if you’re not happy with the end bid on your item, are you obligated to sell it and can you ask for a starting price?

You do set a starting price and can set a reserve as well. Once the auction is ended I guess you can cancel the sale, however you would have to pay the fee and your account would probably be blacklisted so a reserve would be the best way to go!
