I'm so scared of aging, it's refreshing to see you talk about how awesome it gets and how much better it gets, and how much you enjoy your life and age. I don't hear that a lot from women around me and it's really reassuring to hear from you
Aging is nothing of which to be scared. Certainly beats the alternative. I'm 65, turning 66 in November -- and life is even more wonderful once you learn how liberating it is to shed the baggage that weighs us down earlier in life.
Same. The world has put such an awful dark cloud over age and I feel that channels like Michele’s counteract that ageism 🙌🏻
To be honest, it completely depends on the individual's life. I was petrified of 40, and all said the 40s were the best years. At 40, we lost our last baby. At 41, my husband died suddenly, at 42 my mom died, and at 43, my best friend died. I don't find the 40s to be the best but a version of hell I didn't feel I would ever survive. On the other hand, some friends have found new careers, new loves, new chapters in life, a sense of self and contentment and love their 40s.

Oh noooo please don't be afraid of ageing! Embrace knowledge, wisdom & experience that comes with age. And the best part is when you hit 40+ you honestly become badass and don't care what people (especially random strangers) think of how you look or what you have to say.
