Welcome to the club - getting overheated, weight gain, eating bad food…perimenopause 🤦🏽♀️ I’m 56 and have been feeling the same. Used to be athletic, now I’m like why aren’t my clothes fitting the same🤣. It’s a part of life.
I think I’m going to try that mask by Clarins. I purchased 2 of the Mount Lai Rose Quartz De-Puffing Eye Tool and leave them in the refrigerator. In the morning I lightly glide it over my eyelids and under my eyes to smooth in my eye cream instead of tapping it in with my fingers. I feel so much better in the morning after doing that. 😊
Love that open-seamed jacket! I'm going to have to look into that! Also liked the dress with the bishop sleeve, I thought it was so flattering on you - glad you went outside your comfort zone and decided to keep it! The pants! Love a trouser cut...kind of 40s feel to me. Katherine Hepburn, loafer, maybe even socks, a turtleneck = perfection!
We were in Vegas the last two weeks and I couldn’t believe how weird the weather was. We had driven to Grand Canyon the day of the storms and got stuck having to drive home in it. Not good in the desert! Just immediate flooding.
Scary. Flash Floods can be dangerous.
I live in Az. Yes. Even the streets flood so bad. They didn’t make the roads water proof here. Ha ha

I love the cos dress. I get stepping out of the comfort zone, but that was so damn flattering on you! Glad you’re keeping it. I also think it was a good decision on sending your other choices back. That plum shirt was nice, but i agree, it’s more matronly. I will be 49 too. We are not old, and we certainly do not need to feel old in pieces of clothing😂

I bought the cos dress because it looked so good on you and it just came today and I love it it looks amazing. I usually wear a size 8 but I saw that it runs small so I bought a size 10 and it just fits. It’s even a little snug. Also found an amazing pair of jeans on sale which came and I love them! I am often so overwhelmed by all of the makeup choices out there. I enjoy seeing your ‘best in breed’ type rankings for various types of makeup. Also, a vlog taking us from start to finish with your am and pm skin care. Do you ever have problems with products not gelling well together? Finally, do you ever consult with a Dermatologist? I tend to use all of my doc’s recommendations for skincare. I do love your ‘day in my life’ vlogs.

HI Michelle, I close the doors to all my closets so my AC doesn't have to work so hard to cool rarely used places. Also, cool air sinks while hot air rises, so I only keep the upstairs unit on at 77*C. With the trickle down cool air, the downstairs temp stays at around 78*C on 98* days.
I just found Roucha. I think that you would love this company. Their pants are amazing!!! Slouchy, pockets, perfect with a slim tank or tee - chef’s kiss!

That aubergine cowl neck from COS is so pretty on you, like it with the high-waisted pleated pantspr.)..don't think it ages you at all...a real end of summer/autumn kinda throw-on go anywhere outfit.. ( maybe it was just too darn hot to try-on )..Frontwards that fitted COS dress with the "leg of mutton " sleeves looks nice but unless you have the button moved at the chest/velcro it closed, you will always be conscious of the gaping..Open-sided blazer, yes.Everlane black dress great for now., Led light-good looking find...Great Haul in All :)))

Love the dress you are on the fence about, it would not look right if the waist was bigger. The top in wine would look better with a slimmer pant. 85 degrees is too warm, you could go 75 or 77 at most.
