- BMW X5 COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT LOCATION BMW E70 F15
If you have BMW X5 and you need to replace the coolant temperature sensor or you want to know where the coolant temperature sensor is located on 6 cylinder engine we will explain that in this video. Always drain the cooling system before removing the coolant temperature sensor and make sure that the engine and the coolant is cold and not under pressure. After replacing the coolant temperature sensor bleed the cooling system. We explained what needs to be done to replace the coolant temperature sensor on 6 cylinder engine N52 that has been used in many BMW models. Even if you have the M54, N52, N53, N54, N55 engine the coolant temperature sensor location should be almost the same. This video should be helpful on:

I missed the torque spec on the description
I have a BMW X6 from 2008. The engine is heating up, I have tried to purge the system following your instructions, It’s not being done. I don’t know if the temperature sensor is crazy or has gone, or if the pump is broken. Could you please help me? I have subscribed by the way...
Mine has the same problem, engine takes hours to cool down, (after shutting down). 4.4lt v8 e71 twin turbo, and I have a warning to drive slowly to let the engine to cool down. I tried purging the system, but I can't hear a thing. if the water pump was gone, you would think that I would get a red warning NOT orange. Orange is not as critical. If anyone has any ideas, that would be helpful. Cheers.
Is this included 2011?
You can tell hes European because hes scared of a little bit of coolent water 😂
