Hi im from South Africa. I drive a bmw f30 320i 2013 model. Having a problem with my cool, changed my thermostat just a few days ago but my radiator fan comes on very early and doesn't stop running at full speed and water is not circulating. So can it possibly be the temp sensor
@motorcarnut I have tried bleeding the car but no water in entering the water bottle and my radiator fan is at full speed, running continuously. I also have no water leak or funny noises from the water pump?
Does your vehicle have the electric water pump? if so, can be bad. Here is a video on bleeding the system. The fans are running at full speed because the engine is hot and the coolant temp sensor information to the computer keeps them on but if fact its a coolant flow problem. ua-cam.com/video/pPmgQZ0YJWg/v-deo.html
Short answer, yes, but computer gets information from many sensors including CTS. If your car is overheating because of a CTS it should of thrown a code if it were that bad.
@@motorcarnut I replaced the CTS and looked at wiring everything seems fine and looks like it’s reading the correct temp but throws up the code when driving but at idle it doesn’t throw it up
Great information and very well said.❤
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Good video. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback!

Try bleeding the system first, I have a video on your BMW. Hello South Africa!

Ok
Please I need help. Do you know were is located the coolant temperature sensor high on 2011 Audi q7 TDI diesel engine 3.0 thank you
Off hand I can’t remember, just look it up online.
in that car the cts controls the water pump as well??? i have the same bmw and is overheating.

If the code is 10A001 is it still the CTS
