@@billsenior213 Hi Bill, yes I have, every 50,000 KM or 30,000 miles. Dealer recommends every 100,000 km. I have spoken to many different mechanics and they have said to do it at half the time of the manufactures recommendation. They say that this fluid gets hot and breaks down which could reduce the life span of the CVT. I also run Motul synthetic motor oil and change all the gear oil on a regular basis. My experience with Japanese manufactures is to keep up good to better fluid changes. I do have to add that my mileage is mostly a highway commute so my car doesn't run hot in stop and go traffic and that will be a killer on any car. I'm at 260,000 KM's now and still no issues.
Bro can you pls answer, I’m about to buy a Murano 2015 with around 61k miles, you think it’s a good choice? Clean tittle. But I’m a bit scared of how ppl tend to curse the CVT transmission

I have a 2020 platium awd and love it. CVT transmission is for a retired person who do not care about going fast out of a bend or turn. That's why I like a murano since 2003 the 3.5 engine is proven to be bullet proof. Nissan put this engine in most of it's vehicles for years! For me, it's not about how fast the car can go, no not at all, it's all about going from from point A to point B in comfort, and that's all what the cars was invented for.
My 2013 Murano has 74K miles and have had ZERO problems from it....ZERO. Not even brakes, Have the same tires on it from factory, Just basic 4K oil changes. I'm thinking your rock chips are probably from driving behind 18 wheelers and dump trucks too close, or gravel roads, or lots of interstate driving. I would buy another one tomorrow.
I have a 2020 Nissan Murano SL. I have loved this car until this year. My passenger headlight got moisture in it and now the headlight bulb burned out. $2000 to replace headlight and the bulb alone is ridiculous to replace. You have to remove the front end just to replace a bulb. I have had a lot of issues with my stereo turning off randomly. I only have 35,000 miles and was hoping to keep it long term. I am questioning if I should keep it now. Very disappointed.
When did you start noticing the paint chipping ? It will be 9 years old now . I touched up a paint chip on my hood caused by a rock being launched from a dump truck . It sounded much worse than what I found . I love my 2022 SL AWD , Magnetic Black Pearl . Much better ride than the Rogue , Pathfinder and Armada . She is a keeper

I don’t know is that normal? it just makes a loud roaring sound. It’s got brand new tires now and it still does it. Now my tie rods one of them is bad also!
I drive a 2016 Murano and the paint issue is the exact same. I’m having a few other issues with my car that I’ve never had with other makes, such as the grill shutters failed and two holes appeared in the catalyst converter pipes all needs replacing at a high expense. Blessings
Nissan is always keeps up fixing what they not supposed too. I had a 2015 SL put 38,000 miles no issues for two years in 2017 got a NEW rogue until 2019 when I got another new rogue no issues. Them on 2021 returned to a new 2021 Murano SL until now NO ISSUES… Waiting to trade in on 2024 for another redesigned Múralo.🎉
These car dealers are so crooked!!! We bought a Nissan too and they just happen to neglect to tell you that the map software is 2017 & there are no later versions plus no ETA!! Also, the car, 2022, was never gone over before the sale like we were told it was & the audio/visual system was so messed up it took 4 dealerships to fix it and that required a factory reset. PLUS, these dealers refused to give us invoices so we wouldn't have evidence against, which was illegal. In fact they committed consumer fraud when they didn't disclose about the GPS & lied about checking the car out. Oh, & the tires were over inflated too. Plus, if you have someone else work on the car (like who is maybe honest!) then you have to keep super good records & only use Nissan parts or it could invalidate your warranty. Our qualifies under the lemon law but we know 2 other ppl with problems and Toyota & Ford are trying to screw them too! These ppl are such liars, I don't know how they sleep at night!! We should have kept our 94 truck.
You have a 15 Murano . Did you have Nissan look at your paint ? I change oil every 4000 . Less time between changes and more frequent inspections . Call nNissan and discuss these issues
I used to love my Nissan Murano I have a White 2020 SL with 28,000 miles . The paint on the hood of the car is just pealing off. I notified my dealer who told me a had to contact consumer affairs for Nissan I did so on 8/25/2023 . I had to get 3 estimates from Nissan certified auto body shops, all 3 stated factory defect in the paint. On 11/ 22/2023 a representative from Nissan called me and said Nissan was unable to give any financial assistance for my paint complaint. I asked the reason for their decision, she just repeated that Nissan isn’t able to help financially with my complaint. I asked if they would send me the decision in writing or to my email, she told me Nissan doesn’t give written decisions to customers they just canceled my case . I’m trading in my murano as soon as I’m able to and will never purchase another Nissan. Best of luck to everyone

Obviously someone drove that car off road or hit a long strip of gravel to make chipped up paint like that ,and some one pulled on that head liner to hang down like that ,all that has nothing to do with the quality of the Nissan murano !!
This dude obviously didn't do his homework of where the car came from. It can be a daily in town driver or lot of interstate driving maybe for work or whatever and also warrant never covers everyday wear and tare/cosmetic stuff. it's meant for mechanical issues the car might have and even then some warrantys don't cover seal for leaking fluid. Oil drips antifreeze transmission or so on. And he said he never used the moon roof then says well except a few times. Looked like a kid pulled on it or maybe tabs broke off or adhesive wore off. Hi, sorry about that, Ty for the heads up...
with a cvt, every time u change the oil, change the transmission fluid and it will last twice as long
Slowly loosing coolant could mean a slow leak, by the time it drips onto your driveway, it's probably already dried up before you notice it
I have the same truck and my paint looks just like this
I have a 2020 platium awd and love it.
Well I got a Nissan Murano 2015 and it's completely fine
Do you think is a good idea to buy Nissan Murano platinum 2015 with 140k miles on it please??
I have a 2020 Nissan Murano SL. I have loved this car until this year. My passenger headlight got moisture in it and now the headlight bulb burned out. $2000 to replace headlight and the bulb alone is ridiculous to replace. You have to remove the front end just to replace a bulb. I have had a lot of issues with my stereo turning off randomly. I only have 35,000 miles and was hoping to keep it long term. I am questioning if I should keep it now. Very disappointed.
Mines is a little over 5 years old with 91,000 miles and not a single problem yet.
I have a 2016 with zero issues at all…sorry for what happened to ur Murano bro
Well thanks from Quebec ! You saved me from buying this car !
I thankfully do not have these issues on my 20 Murano. Change the cvt fluid every 30k miles and it will last a very long time.

@@_willalexander.88 I hope your Murano’s paint issue is just a fluke . I thought that stone hit my windshield , but I found the chip today as I was putting a Ceramic booster coating on her . We gat hit driving to Iowa 3 weeks ago
I own for 7 years 2016 Nissan murano S. No issues with my car yet.
2019 Murano with 80k miles. Zero issues at this time.
My Murano is 20 years old and is still driving great at 140,000 miles
I have a 2015 with 82,000 miles on it bought it with 78,000 miles on it in December of last year but I noticed when it goes down the road at 50 miles an hour and higher it roars going down the street. I don’t know is that normal? it just makes a loud roaring sound. It’s got brand new tires now and it still does it. Now my tie rods one of them is bad also!
U need wheel bearing
Have you fixed the chips? I hate it. Great video
I drive a 2016 Murano and the paint issue is the exact same. I’m having a few other issues with my car that I’ve never had with other makes, such as the grill shutters failed and two holes appeared in the catalyst converter pipes all needs replacing at a high expense. Blessings
Nissan makes great cars. I’ve owned an armada, and a cube. Live them both.
04 sl awd 359k miles. Zero issues. Best car ever.
Our Nissan dealership in Santa Fe, New Mexico offers a life time warranty check it out if you ever want. New cars
Not even the tip of the iceberg here, wait till that CVT transmission is a problem.
My 2019 sunroof shade did the same last week. The dealership quoted $1700
Unfortunate
Nissan is always keeps up fixing what they not supposed too. I had a 2015 SL put 38,000 miles no issues for two years in 2017 got a NEW rogue until 2019 when I got another new rogue no issues. Them on 2021 returned to a new 2021 Murano SL until now NO ISSUES… Waiting to trade in on 2024 for another redesigned Múralo.🎉
Did you find the coolant issue?
Murano 2005, 170,000 no issues with the transmission only the coil packs that ruins randomnly check engine off
2015 platinum here 82000 miles no issues.
I wonder if there was a sunroof leak. And yes, newer cars can suck. Sorry you got this deal.
I got a 2018 murano only problems i got is shitty brakes that dont work and have to brake ahead of time but friggen pple tailgate me
You shore right about the paint
4000$ for the fix ? 😢
If this 2 things is only problems, then it is a great car..
@jepurjepurovic6378 great * and no unfortunately there's a ton of problems now. Major electrical issues
You can repaint the car don't k ow what you can do with the upholstery
In a good place you can find a reupholster. Cheaper than a dealer
You're the problem not the car😅... I have a 2009 Murano 205,700 plus mileage, my only complaint is that I don't have money to upgrade a newer version😅
Sounds like you gotta a lemon, Never know what you are going to get with a Nissan.
2014, 57k miles… no issues
2016 Murano , no problems
Of course
My guy that is just your car.
First mistake was buying a Renault.
😂😂😂👍💯🙏. That's right. After 1999 when Renault bought Nissan it went to crap.
Thank God my coolant doesn't leak my head doesn't look nothing like your hood we drive many thousands of miles construction zones Highway you name it sorry about your hood man top windows are cool to show off but they suck when you got to clean them all the time good luck
i have 2007 SL , no problem here!!!....
YUP
YOU HAVE BLOWN HEAD GASKET FOR SURE NO ANTIFREEZE ON THE GROUND WHY BECAUSE THE COOLANT IS INSIDE THE ENGINE,
HAD THE SAME PROBLEM IT TURNED OUT TO BE A BLOWN HEAD GASKET GOT IT REBUILT 2500 DOLLARS LATER AND ALL GOOD.
why tf u type in all caps lol
Video should be called "don't tailgate dump trucks" .
You could've easily added some paint protection film to help with the chips.
6000 mile oil change is too long.
Clearly, you're a sucker.
Never pay for the extended warranty LMAO
So dumb lmao
The hood of my 2017 black Infiniti QX60 looks the same way. My Audi A6 is a 2014 and the paint is still way better.
😂😂😂😂😂 That's not even a complaint man that's cosmetic.😂😂😂😂😂😂
They're great until they're NOT lol! Once they get miles on them and need maintenance, you'll have to pay someone that knows murano's cause there are very few how to video's on murano's on internet! Very few!🤔🙆♂️
Obviously someone drove that car off road or hit a long strip of gravel to make chipped up paint like that ,and some one pulled on that head liner to hang down like that ,all that has nothing to do with the quality of the Nissan murano !!
joe biden voter you are.....
@@_willalexander.88Trump would have done it better, just ask him.
Smdh youngsters lrob goes in wit a big head and ego to match and thinks he knows it all till some time down the road things start happening to his vehicle. Don't blame the vehicle blame urself for not doing ur homework on that exact one b4 buying it
When will we learn to read fine print?😂😂🤔
I have a 2017.5 SV and has exactly the same paint issue. I love my Murano but the paint job is ridiculous!!!
6000 Mi is that conventional oil you're supposed to change conventional oil every 3,000 miles I buy the Mobil 1 20000 mile and change it every 7.500 miles Good luck man
Nissan are crap especially the transmission, not a long-term brand
Nonsense. The transmission is fine. Jatco hasn’t had a major issue since 2013.
You know Renault purchased nissan in 2008 SOooo! 🤔
Man ill fix that hammock for two hundred dollars omg
Have the very same problems! All of them!
Get your Murano GTechniq ceramic coated and then PPF wrapped. Problem solved.
My paint is just like yours. The good thing about it this suv is going for a pretty good amount of money if you trade it in which is what I intend to do probably for the Kia Telluride
Sad that it won’t cover that. It’s BS.
Yes the paint is CRAP, super super chipped. my headliner just started sagging, it’s a 2015 with 120000 miles
