I had the same exact error code, I took it apart to clean it out and give it a new thermal compound, then put it back together and made it heat up overnight 3 times to get it to work right! And it is still working to this day!
Guys, this is simple to fix, and you won't need much. Watch a video on how to open the Xbox 360. If you get error 0101, it's the processor that's causing the problem. If you don't have a heat gun, you can use
0101 is a dead GPU aka Flip Chip Failure: heating, reflowing, reballing and any of the sorts won't fix it, you need to replace the chip; or it could also be a BGA issue, but to test you'd have to change pressure on the board and see how it reacts, but BGA fails are pretty uncommon
I fixed multiple 0101 with reballing the xcgpu. Cracked solder balls is more common then a dead chip, Sometimes the problem is one of the ram chips or caps and resistors around the ram chips. 7 out of 10 times a reball fixes it.

The actual 0101 error name is ERROR_NBINIT_MEM_READ_STROBE_DATA_WRITE. I do have a Trinity with 0101 that seems to boot when I play with the board, but anything that gets fixed by heat seems like actual component failure

I dont play around with heat so dont mix reflow with reball. And like i writed above sometimes the error 0101 is related to a memory chip that failed or a component near memory. Good luck

Hello , first release the X-Clamp then check to see what error code you will get , you're xbox 360 is rgh already? if yes check all those soldered cable , 0020 mostly need reballing gpu if it's not dead already , sometimes also this is about RAM chips, it's really hard to guide you from here my friend .all I want to say is leave the console to someone who is expert to not make things worst
Hello ,there is no 5 number of error ,turn on your xbox 360 wait for the red dot then hold your finger on sync button then press 4 times eject button with delay to know the correct number of error .if ever you get freeze on logo it must be gpu if no it might be mosfets also not sure ,also power fault and etc , 0000 an uncommon error most be check one bye one on the board can't say exactly what's the problem blindly

0020 means the GPU is dead or a specific trace for the GPU is broken
