It would be a mistake to trade Kane, he brings a physicality we need. LTIR him early in the season and get him fully healthy. Him with Holloway would be a great line for physical, fast hockey
This seems more like a wish by you (and trying to persuade your listeners) than anything you really know about a trade. From what I've read, Kane's not going anywhere.

Kane is currently slated to be ready for September as his hip surgery is not a necessity. Kane looked like he was injured most of the season, as even his passing was awful. If he truly is healthy, he will be pushing for top 6 minutes.

Put Kane on ltir for 2/3 of the year. Under the cap, healthy Kane for stretch and playoffs. Easy.

Nurse isn’t going anywhere. No-trade clause and he’s part of the Oilers “best friends” nucleus. IF he somehow accepted a trade, odds are the Oilers would have to retain salary.

I heard different things about Kane that Kane wants to stay since he bought a house in Edmonton and Jackson said he's not moving since the news is Evander health and Kane has a no move clause in his contract.
Nurse has a NMC so he’s not leaving. The fanbase and others need to start accepting this because you’ll be frustrated like those in Toronto thinking Tavares or Marner will accept leaving….Kane also has a no trade so people need to start looking at more realistic options to clear cap space (Kulak, Ryan, Ceci)

A healthy kane is a great player for the oilers. The problem is he hasn't really been healthy for 2 years since the wrist getting slashed. He keeps trying to get back into the line up before he's 100%. If he would just take the time to fully rehab his injuries he's a beast.
