Interesting line for sure. Good for practicing some open string playing along with many other techniques on use. Did my best with the tone. Lowering you action will help getting a snappy sound (fresh strings will help. I didn't do that). Strength of playing is quite less than you think. With lower action you can play soft and still sound aggressive (personally i use a really high action so i'm not that into this type of setting). I did my best notating the harmony, specially on the synth parts. I'll be hearing any comment on that since i'm not sure really of some parts. Most of the song has a bluesy feel but also a simple or classic harmony approach. Song is in A Major with some modal interchange applied (Borrowing chords from A Minor) and also with some blues scales on (usually on blues there's a high ambiguity between major and minor. This is presented on the bass line and also guitar) There's also a little modulation to B on the bridge!
Yea Entwistle didn't play that hard but he used a lot of volume at deafening levels
why playing so many open strings instead of their equivalents?

The next challenge for this song: cover and tabulate the live version from The Kids Are Alright documentary. The isolated bass track is insane mostly due to the fact that Keith and Pete are playing so chaotically that John has to play extra busy to keep the whole thing from falling apart. His improvisations throughout and his use of syncopation in the chorus are so cool.

Aún recuerdo esa tarde de fin de Septiembre en el Monumental viendo a The Who, el día anterior fuí al Cine Hoyts de San Agustín a ver la función única de Black Sabbath: The End, recuerdo que empezo como 20 min. más tarde de lo supuesto,por lo que a la salida nos regalaron una entrada pa ver cualquier película el día que quisieramos, por lo que el día sgte al Stgo Rock City fuí a ver It.
