Dude, sounds like you've been riding a chaotic rollercoaster, but I'm glad it sounds like you're having a blast with it. It's crazy how things have changed over the past few years.

On my department, there are two Sgts and one Lt per precinct per shift. Three years ago, I fell into a situation where I was the only Sgt and acting Lt for the shift, covering the largest precinct in the city for an extended period. Having to supervise 20-24 officers absolutely broke me so kudos to you for enduring this burden. Stay safe brother.

I’ve had several supervisors and managers over the 22 years I worked at a hotel. When my supervisor or manager would do something (I worked outside at the swimming pool) like walk past where a guest left a mess and they would just clean up the mess. Like plates and cups that are empty. I had other ones that would walk past and go out of there way to come tell me to clean it up. And I’d go clean it up. But the supervisors or managers that would take care of it I called them working supervisors/ managers and when they asked me to do something I would take care of it. You are a working supervisor and you will have all the more respect. Stay safe

I was working at 3 different departments when I retired. All had different codes and signals. It was never intentional, but sometimes I would mess up and the dispatcher would be laughing so hard he couldn’t answer me on the radio. I was a captain at one department, a corporal at another, and a correctional officer at another. Fun times !!!!!!

Been a hell of a last few years for the boys in blue. I showed this to my wife, who is a cop and SWAT member, and she said she is also a "serg-enant." It is crazy how they are expecting cops to work harder than damn Military SpecOps guys. I work with a lot of Green Berets in the Marine Raider Reg, they often call cops Blue Berets, I think it fits better now than ever. I'm glad we have level headed Blue Berets keeping the streets safe while the Greens keep it saves off them. You seem like a leader I'd love to work under man. Keep up the work and don't feel pressured to upload.

the radio stuff is on point. im a dispatcher and we are sympathetic to call we have to send out. so when something ridiculous, or stupid or even just straight up funny, we make a hard commitment to put it out in a humorous manner without breaking radio etiquette. it gives everyone listening a chuckle. the worst is when someone messes up or gets tongue tied on the radio. its straight go time. (night shift things only by the way, wouldnt advise for when brass is around)

Take zinc, with food, D3, C, and ivermectin. Yes the horse one. I've been taking it every so often since April and I'm not dead yet. It's the same med people take but you measure it out according to your. weight. The one I buy is for 1250 lb. Horse so each notch on the puncher is for 50 lbs. I'm 114 lbs so I take 2 to 3 notches (100 to 150 lbs) and I put it in applesauce. If you take a little over don't worry cuz it's one of the safest drugs in the world. If you have Rona take it several days in a row. Take the vitimans too but take those every day to keep your immune system up. My daughter is a dispatcher and my son-in-law is a cop. Don't take anymore shots. It hijacks your immune system. Quercetin and NAC help too.
