Just bought a 2007 mini convertible and came across this lovely video Gary. Just showed Zoe this video, so funny seeing you on UA-cam, I love to see it! Great work! See you soon bro!
Ive bought a new mini and its basically got a leak through the roof rather than seals or pillars… almost like it rains through the roof… it soaks it in and water drops through the roof.. does that just need a waterproof seal?
If what you think is happening, is happening, then the membrane is damaged and I'm afraid you'll need a new roof. But I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it is a seal and somehow water is running down and getting under the membrane.

Good video
What product did you use please?
To clean it, just car soap. Nothing special.
To protect it, we used our own product, especially made for us.
I have a 2006 Cooper S Convertible (R52)...how do you "flush the drain?"
