Just started my own mobile car valeting business.....going really well and the "maintenance valets" are fantastic idea. Most of my customers have signed up once a month 💎👍 thanks m8 great videos top class
Reminds me of one I had that 'wasn't too bad' according to the elderly lady who hired me. Apart from it being a Nissan Tino instead of an Almera (same name, but bigger car), it was more algae than paint. I didn't have a storm to contend with though! Keep up the good work Dave. 👍
I watched that and was so jealous. The best details are the dirty ones for me then I can see the biggest transformation. Having had a Mini hatch JCW I have a soft spot for all Mini's as well. I had a customer recently who went elsewhere for a detail as her car was too dirty to bring back as she said she was too embarrassed to show me how dirty she had got it after all my hard work. You did a great job in the time allowed.
Great video and work as always Dave. i just started learning how to 1 stage polish on a Makita polisher,my black Renault Megane hasnt been polished in 10 years and has been resprayed mostly(didnt know that before buying and was in a minor front end collision, crash bar bent etc) and it looks phenomenal, the shine and color were back and the paint silky smooth and not harsh to the touch. I put gyeon wet coat on it and i think that will be fine, topping up with a quick detailer every 2 weeks :D
Hi and thanks for uploading. What's the best way to clean an engine of any vehicle. Do I just go in with a pressure washer and spare everything except the battery 🔋 or there other things I've got to look out for. I wanna specialise in engine cleaning to support myself financially as an entrepreneur..thanks in advance
To be honest many modern engine bays can take a lot of pressure. I also use a steam a cleaner or just do it by hand with a citrus pre wash. it really depends on the type of engine that im working on
Seeing that poor mini with all that mold on it made me cry almost, my dream car is a 2005 mini cooper s John cooper works with the supercharger, I know a lot of people will laugh but these little cars are cool.
Great video Dave looks great is there a follow up to it for the interior cleaning of the mini? Also any video coming out with tips on washing a car when you can't use a hose pipe or pressure washer due to hosepipe ban in place? Thanks
When you did the machine polish, were you using a DA or a rotary? I've yet to buy a machine and I 'thought' the best choice is a DA as it avoids swirls? Please correct me if that's wrong!
Random question. Have you detailed a Hyunda i20N? If so have managed to avoid the water/soap getting into the rear light and rear horizontal light reflector. These are design faults Thanks.
Noticed you used a rotary polisher with a green pad, which likely made faster work of the polish. Was that a one step? Is that possible without leaving swirl marks, or are swirl marks only caused by heavier-cut rotary pads? Would love to see a video YOU produce about how you use a rotary polisher efficiently.
Hello it was just a quick polish. It's getting work done to it so another time I'll be giving it a proper polish. I'm actually doing a full guide on my other channel.
@@epicautomotivedetailing very interested in your use of a rotary, as they can be quicker. But for a regular light polish on a well kept car, would you recommend a DA over a rotary for that? Thanks for the time.
Nothing better than seeing the shit & dirt blasted off a light coloured car makes a very satisfying video. The mini looked like new after Daves magic hands done the work keep them coming Dave 💪👍😁

Must be so satisfying cleaning a car starting in that condition. Having just brought a LWB Vivaro, and a white one at that, by the time the hose pipe ban is lifted, I think it will be the same colour as the mini 🤣🤣
Been pressure washing engines for years and never had a problem. Modern engine electrics are pretty well sealed, not like the older vehicles. The thing to be careful of is never pressure wash a diesel when its running and dont spray the water at the air intake.
@@epicautomotivedetailing Dave if you only use your own car in order for your jet wash to work you need to connect to the owners house for some electricity right? because i don't have a generator yet.
Who makes those products Dave ? 😉 Good subject to test the stuff on not something like my car that never gets dirty nevermind filthy . Parents neighbours are saying "washing it again?" . I'm doing it far less than I did at home at that too
You are hilarious, love your channel, yeah, I’ve been sprayed so many times by wind changes, I can actually recommend the best tasting snow foams on the market.🤣
Yeah, I know, I'm one of a million people who say that. But as a "professional" car detailer you should not use a pressure washer in the engine bay. This could bring water to places it should not be and you don't want it to be. And snowfoaming the S-class right beside the Mini...well, at least questionnable 😊.
