Correct me if im wrong but does the one rings protection not save him from the scheme exiling his things?
One Ring gives the player protection, but not the permanents they control. So, the scheme can still target the Aetherflux

In Archenemy, pretty sure all of the non-Archenemy players take their turns at the same time.I also think Spectator Seating also would have come in tapped since only the Archenemy is the opponent?
