Tap priest of titania for ggg (or even just g is fine), exile priest to food chain to get rrr, tap 2lands for ww, Rocco x=3 for squee, win? Get grand abolisher, then kiki jiki + felidar?
A good amount of decks did take a big hit, but i think most of them will be able to recover (other than Nadu. Rip bozo). The ones off the top of my head that hot hosed are Niv, K'rrik, Etali. Especially Niv. He got hosed HARD from losing JLO. I think any deck with Kraum or Dargo is going to have a harder time. Godo got hit hard as well. Korvold or any deck banking on Sacrifice is going to suffer bad from the loss of dockside other than Magda. I think she actually wasn't hurt that bad and Dockside was more of a luxury. Excited to see how the meta shifts and if we get new commanders, strategies, replacements, ect.
removing of mana crypt and jeweled lotus is fine, wish they would of targeted all fast mana and early value engines like mana monkey, mana elf, lotus petal, mana vault, sol ring, and 1 drop mana dorks, gaia's cradle, mystic/rhstic study, smothering tithe, ad nauseum, sylvan library and necropotence if they wanted to just reshape edh completely and try to make a new meta
Sol ring isn't as much of a problem as mana crypt. Also sol ring is widely accessible. Just because i have a crypt doesn't mean a lot of other people do. Like you can be salty but the rc has literally banned other cards for the exact same reasons as they have the others on that list. Tolarian academy, channel, griselbrand, the moxes, rofellos, etc. Like people are salty, but these things already have a precedent for being hit.
@@FrostyTheSwoleman except I wasn't even talking about Sol Ring... so everything you said was completely irrelevant. That being said I own none of the cards that were banned and still think it's an idiotic it did nothing to fix the format if anything it's made actual problem cards more of an issue.

K'rrik got hosed? As a Turbo K'rrik pilot I can still win turn 1 seat 1, no Crypt or JLo in sight.

This slow Boomer magic is an upsetting disappointment. Everything feels like budget jank now. Format is slow and ruined.
