But then again, what about the size, weight of a person ,knives ,bottle necks, mental and emotional state when they attack? Is this new system being taught here taking into account the facts of how dirty and tricky a real attack can be?

These moves are good, very good, but yeah I believe boxing 🥊 would be the best self defense system for me .

Thats probably true for you. Boxing is an excellent form of combative movement. Its natural flow between hits are great training. But remember that as Kelly says about a trained martial artist that he will be judged if he beats them all because he is a trained fighter. If you are a trained boxer and do the the same then you will be judged by your training. Today's world is more violent than in the past, that is, more pity is on the "poor" aggressor on the street, than on the victim who fights back. Use all your talents to avoid a situation, but judge what you do by how badly the situation is. You can always run fast, which is the best form of defense, if you cant talk your way out of it.

Once again and nobody seems to be listening to me boxers are the real real warriors because nobody takes the punishment they take all those moves they show u martial arts looks good in movies and in self defense schools but I real life it will be like UFC who gets who first whether it be wrestling, kickboxing etc. The late great martial artist Bruce lee even admit himself after watching western boxing showing Muhammed ali and other boxers

Its Damn " Sweet" , is the "Sweet Science". Rapid fire hands strategically placed. Add to that, proper training, to get good conditioning and Muscle memory, its a Dangerous Real life weapon.....But it doesn't answer everything. So Any Good system will definitely include it in some form AND Add some clinch/ trap/ early grapple/ Low kick range moves and a weapon art( knife/ Bludgeon for close range, doesn't hurt, if you cant get to your firearm.

Though I'll mostly agree with you... everything has its place and uses.
I started out as a boxer and been developing martial arts since, and it's true that most street fights I've been in didn't require much more than boxing techniques, but that also could be due to having more experience as a boxer and a lack of practice to be confident in other areas.
But if you've watched the entire video and understand the concept of making that first contact and connection to your enemy and know what to do from there that that can open the door to be in so much more control of the situation and ultimately allow you to decide what level of damage is necessary for the situation better than just striking.

Western boxing was developed out of Filipino knife fighting after US Marines were deployed to the Philippines in the early 20th century.
Thus Filipino martial arts are best suited for real world encounters and cover the gamut from impact to edge weapons and include empty hands.

Boxers are very good at what they do. You learn how to give and take punishment. Its a great method to start with, in fact a combination of boxing and old school judo would be great since you might have to deal with grabs and holds. Might be a little hard to punch your way out of a chokehold.

I’ve trained in multiple martial arts including mma , fma, hand 2 hand, defendo , taekwondo, wrestling, boxing, kung fu, kickboxing, jiujitsu and also work part time as a bodyguard. I can say with confidence that these techniques are highly effective and far more likely to save your life in a level ten threat situation.
