Man had a plan 40 years ago and stuck to it. Very impressive 👏👏👏
haha more like a disease!!! what a collection
Thats like the warehouse at the end of Raiders Of The Lost Ark
We have top men working on it right now.
TOP MEN
Came here to say this
sharpley75 You sir read my mind imagine finding a warehouse with all types of guitars
Almost overwhelming
Norm immediately recalling specific details about each guitar is crazy. Especially if he hasn’t seen some of them in years.
Any good 'salesman' has to be full of shit, most of his rhetoric is pure lies...e.g. everyone is his best friend etc
He's so crazy lol
I sure appreciate Norm sharing his life’s collection with us all!
Thank God Norm wasn't into "accordions".. or say.. "trombones"...
Norman's Rare Piccolos...
Hahaha,funny..."Norman's Rare glockenspiels"
😂😂😂
I don’t know how to feel about this. All these amazing guitars just sitting in a warehouse. All just perfect. Made to be played and just sitting in a dark crate for decades.
Obviously he bought them all as an investment, and could care less if they ever get played again. And if he bought those NOW vintage guitars 30 years ago, then just imagine how much most of them have appreciated... Say a $300 strat now going for $3000... Let see the stock market match those gains!
Stan Lee Of course it was a great investment, I was only saying it is a bit sad seeing all these amazing instruments sitting in a vault and not being enjoyed.
Stan Lee $300 in the S&P 500 (not cherry-picking any stock) in 1989 would be more than $6000 in 2019. So bad example?
Somewhere in Tennessee a leather jacket is being ruined from all the crying
@James Meaux what a snotty thing to say... lol
Ahahahahahahahaha!
I believe your right on that one JDPLOWER. Mark is MIA in Nashville, he dug a hole that he can't seem to find he's way out of. I wonder if the crew at Norm's had heard from him.
@@JJ-JOHNSON Mark has been on at least one of Norm's videos since he left. I'm sure they stay in touch.
We support each other in Nashville...Mark has nothing to be worried about....shit happens...he didn't write those cards he was reading from and we all know it
im a 64 year old been a rocker from berth always loved the guitar but never took time to learn dont ask why but this series of norms is the best thing on the internet every time i watch it makes me want to buy im gonna learn to play just for me and norms just made my bucket list to visit and maybe purchase. love the show keep up the content
You can tell Norms really attached to these fine guitars. It makes me appreciate what he is doing for the guitar community. Thank you Norm for sharing these treasures with us
Oh Norm, you killed me with the JJ Cale acquisition...😯👍👏👏👏
Norm sets the bar extremely high, he collects only the finest examples in the absolute finest condition, museum pieces, Bravo !!
All those beautiful fenders just sitting in crates 😩😢 he has so many vintage fenders, it’s amazing.
That Norman is amazing in that he knows everything about every guitar in his warehouse
If anyone has a bigger and more complete collection than Norm I’d like to see it. Unreal. Hope he’s got that warehouse insured lol
First that J.J.Cale guitar , oh my ...
Second, even i only can dream about having something similar to those beauties, i have to say ,thanks Norm for preserving those instruments for so long , and share it with all the guitar people around the world , thank you very much Norm , you seem such a unique person .
And third , i notice a little bit of nostalgia ,or melancholy in your words , i wish it's only that ,and everything is fine .
Love this videos , watching the " three amigos" at their best . Kisses Jen , bye
it's like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, a lifetime supply of rare and vintage stuff , when I die I want to be crated and packed in here. And wow , Norm just opens the case and knows exactly what it is , vintage , color , p/u's , where he got it , when , amazing , and just look at all the unopened crates.
Uh, WOW! I don’t collect anything but I really like the few guitars 🎸 that I have & totally appreciate looking @ all of those guitars. I saw a couple that I might be interested in. I wouldn’t mind selling what I have just to make a change or upgrade. You can’t have everything. Where would you put it? Well apparently Norm puts it in an enormous humidity & temperature controlled warehouse. Thanks for protecting all of those wonderful instruments. It’s like you have a museum where stuff is for sale. So kewl. 👍🎸☮️🌞
I'd love to have that Gibson Hummingbird! Hope to hear it demo'd by Lemmo soon! 👀 👀 😍😍😍😍
A man with a vision , what a wonderful thing ! We could all learn something from Norm . Congratulations on being a Grandad by the way !
These videos are cool to watch, but then you wonder how long these guitars have gone/will go without someone playing or making any music on them :(
True . ! Good thinking dude. But then again, if they had been out there they would probably be in unplayable condition by now, or lost....people from 2, 3 decades ago had their share of cool guitars, at least these that have been stashed away give us, in the 21 century, a chance to play really cool stuff
Thank you Norm for showing us your personal stash, and sharing it with the general public. You are a true part of modern guitar culture, and you will live on in these instruments, and the memory of your store long after you are gone. I feel privileged to just watch this video I can't imagine the feeling Mike and the rest of your crew are feeling as these beautiful pieces of history come to light.
Wow, that was a fantastic show & tell...thanks for sharing!
I'm just sitting here mouth agape,
Shaking my head in Amazement, I
mean My GOD Man, all those
Phenomenal Instruments one after the other, and when you think it's
Over, Jen pans over to Another
Crate STUFFED with Incredible
Guitar's...........MAMA MIA!!! LITERALLY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS worth of Guitars in there. Norm you are THE MAN!
🎸💚
The red Johnny Smith with no pickups would be great for a Flat Top Friday GOTD.
If I ever win the lottery the only two things I would enter into my sat navigation would be Norms Rare Guitars and the Beach....
Seams....lol....seems....
Guitar hunters..... warehouse style. I bet Norman knows every guitar in there too.
I have been critical of Norm on some issues in the past....but....you have to raise your hat to all this...what foresight..and what love for great instruments....Bravo,,,Bravo....
But no Gibson Firebird X's. They are rare now!!
Too soon dude. Too soon...
Caterpillar track road worn finish is best!
Lol,yeah
That Crest is just delicious!! OMG, man!!
I understand people who are saying these guitars should have been played instead of being put away for so many years...but then again, if they had been out there they would probably be in unplayable condition by now, or lost....people from 2, 3 decades ago had their share of cool guitars, at least these that have been stashed away give us, in the 21 century, a chance to play real cool stuff. People may say they are too expensive now...well, it took someone the balls to acquire and keep them for 20, 30 years...you deserve to make some money for all this work, don't you? Someone had to do it, and thank Norm for having done it.
Just incredible! Fantastic investment and Norm's memory = total recall ! Can you believe that!
Wow those jazz masters are to die for
Years of watching it always amazes {not in a comment just in general} I've seen bashing of Norm on sites several times. The man had the insight to see + realize that guitars that could be bought for $500-1,800 someday would be worth a big bucks.. Even if I can't afford one ;thanks Norm for the preservation and making them available for sale + letting me see these by u tube. A #1
Thank you Norm for being a caretaker of our craft. I'll be by to grab one soon!
Just shaking my head, OMG! And Norm is just so casual about it.
Simplemente impresionante!!!
Guitarist paradise ! Wouaaaaaaaw !
This is incredible.....wow.
Norm, you are the most disciplined man I know of. To hide these away for this long, is quite a statement.
You misspelled "greedy"
I am always blown away by the sheer size of the warehouse. Is it really possible that all of those crates are Norm's and each is filled with vintage guitars?? It's astounding.
there's a home sweet home for each and everyone of them in time.
WOW!!! That was so fun! Thank you for shooting this, great editing too. All the lives those guitars touched and now they see the light of day again. Beautiful video.
Norm is the freakin’ man! So cool! That Brazilian rosewood Crest might be one of the most beautiful guitars I’ve ever seen.
That was INCREDIBLE!!! Good thing I watched this video alone, drooling on yourself is not a good look, lol.
Best GOTD episode ever! That red Johnny Smith...
😍♥️😍♥️
GOOD FOR U NORMAN, REAL HAPPY FOR YA. THAT REALLY IS AN INCREDIBLE SITUATION YOUVE GOT ON UR HANDS THERE.ALL THE CURVEBALLS LIFE CAN THROW AT A PERSON & TO BE ABLE TO HOLD ONTO THAT IS A TRUE BLESSING. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Awesome Norm, thanks for sharing.
Every one are Norms children he knows them all 👍 fantastic 🇺🇸🏴🇬🇧
Norm's stash is definitely SMOKIN' !
I don’t think Norm is too worried about the gas bill arriving ? These few guitars alone are worth a considerable amount . Clever investment 😀
Very nice...good idea Norm ...hey were gettin old...need to let this stuff be seen..
12:03 That’s my dream guitar wow!
Raiders Of The Lost Ark... Guitar style
Norman....I would say that it's very honorable and smart that you had the sight to acquire these beautiful guitars and give a proper place to house and be the custodian of these historic instruments.
Man I would tune them every night for free myself! Hope they find proper homes.
That's a great accomplishment, Norm!
Amazing, that Norm knows the history of every guitar he owns.
Wow what a lucky man thanks for the videos keep em coming
I can not believe how many guitars Norm has tucked away!
This is incredible wow !!!
In awe! more warehouse videos!
Mind Blown !
Please Please Please...show more of this! Please!
Amazing and unbelieveable. What also is amazing is that Norm seems to remeber everything about each instrument just with a quick glance at it.
Me, I own about 40 instruments and that number has been pretty fixed during the last 20 years even though I have baught and sold quite a lot. Last summer I found a guitar in my closet I did not know I had. Sold it to a friend who developed an acute GAS for it but I still cant recall where and when I accured that one. Not even a slight trace of memory about that.
Waesome thanks for the knowledge. 👍🎸
Norm, I respect your business ability! Few people know how hard it is to manage cash flow, traffic flow, expenses and man power all at one time! You sir are the guitar Icon of America!!! You are the Donald J. Trump of guitars 🎸!!! Outstanding of California that is a huge compliment!!! Thank you 🙏 for all you do for the industry!!! It scares me what you could have done for the Midnight Mission with just the spare parts off all the guitars Gibson destroyed recently!!!
It belongs in a museum!
When Norm let moviemakers borrow the Back to the Future guitar, they let him keep the time machine.
Incredible so awesome
Norm. You are so interesting to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Wow Awesome!! Thanks Norm!
Wow very impressed with norm such a smart guy real inspiring stuff
Wow, just wow
Congrads to Norman..for never having to sell his guitar collection...Alot of groups went to California..to make it big but never..SO they sold there axes to get back home...Then there was Norman.....buying up musician.s axes for a song....Like Gruhn in Nashville..1960.s strat for 100.00 ..back in 1971 thru 1976....but thats life.
that's just awesome.
i would pay norm an hourly fee just for the opportunity to wander the warehouse and poke around in the crates and just look at the gems stored away
massive collection Very impressive
I am just in awe watching this video. Can't imagine actually being there in person. Unbelievable.
Unbelievable. I've never thought a place like this was possible ! Quoting Wavy Gravy..."We must be in heaven, man!"
Best warehouse ever. Norman is a very industrious individual. Thanks for sharing all your great finds.
P.S. love the Tal Farlow.
GGGGGGGGggggggggg......GOLD MINE OF GUITARS!...drooling.
It just keeps on coming out of those crates. Fabulous stuff Norm.
I just wish i knew how many guitars norm has it drives me crazy, i wonder if he knows?? That place is like the govt warehouse at the end of Indiana jones. I'm pretty sure the holy grail is in there.
awesome video more like this please
Soooo gooood!!! 👌👌👌

Love you Norm! I really enjoy these videos and Lemmo is great. I'm sure your already know that. Todd too!
Wow just Wow
Unbelievable. Norm certainly knows his guitars and such a memory on where they were purchased. Norm should make a documentary, he is a guitar god. Thanks for sharing this video, what a wonderful experience. (Kev, UK)
Excellent video!
WOW, one word!
Now I understand why the prices of guitars are soooo high. We have hoarders that hoard these guitars making them scarce then all of a sudden guess what have we here.
Anyway Norm thank you for reloading that you are getting old like everyone else n have to let stuff go. As inn telling you this I have a motorcycle my wife wants me to sell it’s in my garage haha 😂
He sells em for too much
Aaaaaah! Just an early Hummingbird 61/62 with hang tags.
This is the definition of my heaven
Thanks for your ideas of Johnny Appleseeding guitars!
these pieces are absolutely insane! need to make it to the store someday
Just incredible! Beyond cool. I would take a sleeping bag and spend the night going through guitars. Wow! 👍
Unbelievable !
