I recently bought a Super7 Soundwave, the "VHS box" exclusive from Amazon. $40. It was a figure, no concussion blaster, a tape of Laserbeak, and that's it. It was the largest waste of money I've spent lately. I *returned* it. I love Soundwave... but I'd rather pay a little more to get the Ultimates version of the same fig to get a lot more accessories. Super7 is off their rocker.

Though with the Hasbro coupons, it's like $47 or $56ish... depending on if you're a Pulse Premium member or not. Since the figures (which are generally overpriced too) are like $20 each normally, that's SLIGHTLY more reasonable. But I don't collect a lot of the Reaction stuff myself. Slacker!
If they want to do something cheap fans will buy, they need to make a collector's case for ReAction Figures. Like they used to do for GI Joe in the 80's.
I wish Super 7 would just stick to making the “non-transforming” characters but that would defeat their whole purpose of the line lol. The ONLY Super 7 I find good is the Quintessons & the Alligatorcon. I think Super 7 Quintessons are WAY BETTER & a more correct scale to the SS86 & ALL G1 Hasbro Transformers made. That Earthrise “Pit of Judgement” had a Quintesson that looks WAY TOO BIG & for some strange reason it transforms(?)” which NEVER happens in the original Sunbow/Marvel TV Show Season 3 & the 1986 movie. The Alligatorcon set looks like it would scale with the mainline & that Optimus tower arm looks like you can build a diorama with it. Plus it looks like it would go great with the SS86 Constructons coming out👍🏻 I wish Super 7 would do the other Quintesson with just 1 head & a Nightbird from the one episode. I guarantee if Super 7 came out with a Nightbird they’d have a hit on their hands because she NEVER transforms into anything on the original G1 TV show either. I REALLY wish Super 7 would do that one.
All that ReAction stuff is nice but overpriced. This doesn't surprise me that it's starting price is up there. I think maybe it's cause they make fewer units? At least that's what some others have claimed. Better than a funko pop but like you say not as nice as a blokey. Reminds me of the old Sears stuff like the Cobra base that was a cardboard backdrop, at least you got exclusive figures with that stuff a lot of times. Might have been nice to get a ReAction figure or two that was not already out or a paint variant. Maybe an Artfire Inferno repaint or a that green Grapple. Nightbird or Kremzeek or something. Oof imagine them teaming up.
TBH, I've never seen or handled ANYTHING by Super7 that I felt was worth the RRP, and the only times I've bought their stuff is when it was HEAVILY reduced. Even then some of it felt dodgy - looking at you, Ultimates Banzaitron and Bludgeon! :/
I got the best looking Shockwave ever and it doesn't transform. Not that i would want a big purple gun on my shelves. I'm actually more into the characters themselves than the transformations.
Ok, this is a step in the right direction but I’d still prefer a GI Joe inspired playset based on the ark. I despise the laziness here, give us the ark and it’s entire interior already! Any kid would prefer that but Hasbro keeps missing out with the Transformers. At least the baseplate is nice for people who want to display their Legacy or G1 toys.

Retroblasting and people who review the SDCC ark playset and the Warren Ark playset give more alternatives for the Ark than this. Even that Titan Ark and DOTM's Ark are much better alternatives than this.
This is why I didn't buy S7 products. Cheap, easy to appeal to those that cannot say no to the franchise label, and waaaay overpriced. No wonder everything they sell goes on clearance.

Yes, it's a completely arrogant, overpriced waste of plastic. I bought the larger Bludgeon figure from Super 7 and it was the first and last product from them I'll ever buy. A truly awful company making truly sub-par, overpriced and slow-to-deliver figures. I will rejoice when Super 7 go out of business.
This was more depressing then getting something like that for Christmas as a kid LOL I thought the days of cardboard playsets like the Cobra Missile Command mail away we're a thing of the past. The irony is you would have got something like this free with a couple of proofs of purchase and shipping in the 1980s. I know somebody's going to kick me in the ouchie ouchie place there were Transformers the same scale as those reaction figures at the dollar store at one point in the US friend of mine gave me a bunch of them I have them around here somewhere is in the packages . He must have got me three or four of them I don't know if they had them at the dollar store in Canada. It's been kind of insulting that after all these years nobody's done a proper Arc playset and to make insult injury they have the brass tacks to charge $75 us for this turkey it's not even worth $20 us with the two figures it looks like something from Dollar General or Dollar Tree that you get for like eight bucks I know for a fact if you gave this to a kid as a gift they'd probably kick you or punch you and throw a temper tantrum.. And we're talking punch you in the America's Funniest Home area;). You give this to the wrong kid and there's going to be some therapy bills involved when that kid gets older lol. You don't know how much this hurts when I can remember what $100 got you for a playset in the 1980s evil smile here I'm sure a few people know what I'm talking about. But I'll for the rest of you fill in the blanks defiant crawler playset from GI Joe was approximately 100 or less Canadian depending where you got it the irony being they only sold about 50 or 100 that I know of in Nova Scotia. The mask Boulder Hill playset depending where you bought it you paid between 38 and $68 depending on the time of year and so on and that was Canadian I know because I bought one as a kid on clearance that was marked as missing pieces. Was missing a couple of rubber hoses if I remember correctly. I still have it and the box it came in I think I paid 38 bucks at Canadian Tire maybe less. You compare it to this thing and you'd be pulling your hair out $38 Canadian is like a little bit more than the price of a roll of toilet paper American;). $10 practically worthless in American money. $38 Canadian is about $27 us give or take so you get my point. The SS flag was in the it was between $99 and $130 in 1980s money. So that's why seeing something like this hurts so much that sad sack Star Wars playset that this is very similar to I think was like eight bucks in the 1970s lol. Even with inflation that's just insulting. It's practically the sandcrawler playset in fact it has less play value if that's even possible you could probably get the plastic piece from the sandcrawler playset on eBay for like 5 or 8 bucks and print out your own Transformers backdrop for a couple of bucks;). My God is this ever a cash crap those little mini figures being 20 bucks us or more each American makes my head hurt they shouldn't even be more than $3 each
