The swing out guns you pointed out on Soundwave are actually left over from his space ship mode. When they converted that mold to his tape deck mode those weren’t removed.
I don't understand why they keep leaving those guns on there. Studio Series shouldn't have those in the future or the fans will riot because it won't be screen accurate.
I already have the Coronation Starscream and the Studio Series Bumblebee movie versions of Megatron, Soundwave, and Shockwave so this set is a pretty easy pass for me. It looks really cool though. Love the Siege Shockwave, such a good mold and it's nice it's being released more so the very inflated value the Siege one has isn't the only way to get the mold.
I got mine today! (It was supposed to have came Saturday, but something happened that delayed it) I’ve only opened it, transformed each one to Alt Mode and back, and put them back in the box…. …for now. I gotta reorganize my shelf before I can display them lol. I mean, it’s 3 more bots and a chair. I need another shelf honestly, but I digress.. I didn’t have any of these figures, so this was a nice set for me to pick up. (I’m also waiting on the Autobot 5 pack to be released for the same reason). And seeing how much Netflix Soundwave is going for, this set is a bargain! I’m not sure what I’ll do with Megs yet, since he won’t be part of the display. The role of Megatron will be filled by ToyWorld Hegemon since he scales well and becomes a gun (G1 4ever! 😂) I’m hoping he can sit on the throne. If not, I guess I’ll put Galvatron on the throne and let Megs stand behind him, maybe. 🤔 Anyway, it’s a great set for anyone who is missing these figs.
Hey i just got this set and my megs right arm falls off when moving it i can put it back it but it gets annoying but has any of your earthrise megs molds have this problem?
I got mine last week but it was Shockwave which was the selling point for me. My only one that I have. I have a few Megatrons (love the metallic sheen on this one) and Soundwaves. My Megatron's shoulders appear to be okay but overall he is a bit loose which I don't like. I also like the throne which I missed out on with Coronation Starscream. All in all, I really like 'em. Wish the box wasn't so BIG, I live in an apt. after all, no attics here.
A KO masterpiece Soundwave is 45 on Ali today. I believe I've seen a MP 36 KO at one point for 60ish on Ali. A KO masterpiece Shockwave is 60 on Ali today. Without a seat a total of 163, and on Amazon this 3pack set is 175.
Oh, I also modified my Siege "well Legacy actually" Soundwave, by cutting those kibble bits, off the back of the forearms. I actually did a really good job with those, and you can't tell they were ever there. I don't ever transform that thing anyway. I haven't worked up the balls to do that to the Netflix one, being as his ass goes for silly stupid money. I've seen people asking "and getting" $250/$300 for that set! No crap! That's why I was so floored when I saw it for $80. But I am considering swapping forearms. I can't remember why I've not done it, perhaps there's some tricky pins to push out maybe. Seems like I'd have done that already, if it were easy.
Oh, it's because I actually do transform that one pretty regularly, and if memory is correct, those parts are sort of needed in his transformation. Not the flip out bits, but the part they're attached to. Seems like that's how they're held together in his mini tape mode.

Megs and Soundwave are NOT cartoon colored all the way. That metallic on them is over kill as hell as it hurts your eyes took look at the for real. They were gray in the show NOT metallic like these figures. 86 Megs will be out next year👍👍💯

I took the lower legs off this metallic Megs and put them on my ER Megs since he's just a place holder anyways. Netflix Soundwave can bring his legs in closer together than metallic Soundwave and this version has SHITTY LIGHT PIPING!💩👎🏽 His arms are lose as hell too. Lazerbeak is a darker shade of red like he should be so that's good. This Nemesis Bridge set is Dinobot shit and NOT worth the money. Only Shockwave and Lazerbeak are good about this set. WAIT FOR 86 MEGATRON NEXT YEAR AND UNITED SOUNDWAVE LATER THIS YEAR🤓

Yeah really liked the pkg and I think the premo deco is really good. My earthrise megs and soundwave was showing yellowing issues anyway lol.
Why did they make Soundwaves legs unable to close like the earthrise version. Has to always stand with legs spred apart 😖
My Netflix Soundwave legs close no problem and is WAY better than the Nemesis Bridge Soundwave I have as well💯
