Same. I'm just shy of 40 years old, and I was 14 when this happened. I called my mother from a friend's house that evening and told my mother what had happened, and she turned on the news and started crying thinking of the two boys she left behind. My friend's mother was also in tears. Alas, we were a bit too young to understand entirely. It's only now with the wisdom of age that I've come to realize just how great of a person she was.

I do not want this to be derogatory toward the Queen’s family, and I have been wondering if I should say this. If I offend anyone, I am sorry. I was sad to hear the passing of Queen Elizabeth. She lived a very long life. I really did not appreciate how Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip and Prince Charles treated Princess Diana. I feel that when Diana died, a part of everyone in the World died. She died doing what she loved (raising 2 sons, volunteer work and much more). When Queen Elizabeth died, I saw a lot of people that were very sad. There was a tremendous amt of people that said Goodbye to the People’s Princess. I noticed that a lot of people were crying and totally stunned. There were a lot of people who lined the streets for days to say Goodbye to the Peoples Princess. I noticed that while being married and not married, we did not hear her talk openly that much. She always put William and Harry first and loved them unconditionally. After the funeral, there were a ton of flowers being thrown on the hearse as well as the street. I saw an over abundance of flowers where people left flowers for Diana in front of Buckingham Palace. I saw that there were a lot of flowers left in front of Buckingham Palace for the Queen. I just did not see a lot of flowers being thrown on the streets as well as the hearse for the Queen. I saw a lot more flowers were thrown for Diana. I think that when when her brother spoke at the funeral, I saw the look on the Queen/King. It looked like what her brother said about his sister some of the statements were directed towards Charles, Phillip and Elizabeth. I believe that these 3 people were appalled. I know that Prince Charles was not in ❤️with Diana. He played it up really well when they were photographed together. He was in ❤️with Camilla. He even stated that he called Diana on the 📞 the night before and said that he wanted to Cx the wedding. Diana stood her ground though. I feel that the King/Queen were not in favor with this marriage. I believe that there was too much criteria on Diana when she married Prince Charles. Have a child within the 1st yr of marriage really effected her as far as her Bulimia goes. Everyone will always remember Diana and what she stood for. Her 2 sons will never forget their mother. I believe that Diana would have loved her grandchildren so much. I am proud of William/Kate of the way that they coparent together. I am proud that Prince Harry/Megan are coparenting to raise their 2 children. I wish that William and Harry will repair their relationship with each other. Again, I am sorry for the loss of Queen Elizabeth, but no one will forever forget the People’s Princess. Again I am sorry if this offends anyone.
This may not be the right time to show this with all the craziness going around. She is a loved PRINCESS AND WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT QUEEN FOR ENGLAND.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Irreplaceable Princess RIP you are still alive in our hearts ♥️
They queen was shocked but cold as ice.
I was 19 when this happened . I still remember the shock of the world, even though there was no internet or phones,,,we all followed the details of accident and funeral ...may she rest in peace. But no one remembers that other 2 people were killed in the same car
I ❤ will always have princess diana and both in my heart ❤🙏❤️ ANTHONY DAVID RENSHAW❤
Even the Queen won't get this outpouring from the public
really?
Her burial site looks beautiful. And unique, just as her. Inaccessible to the public indeed. Hope she's got the freedom and peace from paparazzis and overall media
I'll never forget when i found out she passed, i cried like a baby😢. And many years later i was blessed with my son on the same day of her passing so it also became a joyous day ❤️
Irreplaceable for sure. Beautiful soul we still mourn, think, and talk about till today
