Thanks Jay for always giving us all the most recent up dates
Your welcome!
Thanks Jay for doing this and keeping us informed. Just another testament to you and the great company you have. God Bless!!😇👍
Thank you for watching! God bless!
Thanks for the update. This fixed the random low oil pressure detected on cold starts issue on my "15 FLTRXS. Great radio, and great service. Thank you for the hard work, dedication, and for bringing such a great and much needed product to market.
Thank you!
Thanks brothers, great job 💪🏾
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the update
Your welcome!
great video I hear a lot of good things about the soundstreem unit
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for keeping us updated on issues and solutions. The only thing I've experienced on my Trike is the random oil pressure notice. It does seem to be triggered by having the ignition on but the bike not running for 'too long a period'. Not a big deal so I may wait to install a later update.
Yes this update fixes that issue, thank you for watching!
That's great!
Thank you for watching!
As soon as you figure out the Thundermax fix, I'm buying it!
🤞🏻
Love being part of the production test group 😂 cool product but it wasnt finished when it was rolled out. I'm sure most of us are tired of removing our fairings for the next software update.
Radio was finished, maestro was figuring out how inconsistent Harley Davidson was from year to year, I think this has all the necessary updates done
Just Ordered
Thank you!
So I’m having issues with the security light staying on sometimes I have to shut the bike off and restart multiple times also after riding listening to the radio if I shut the bike off and then go to start back up after abrief moment 10 15 minutes the radio shows as if it is connected, but I have no audio. You said you were going to link a description of how to update to firmware 2.1 where is it at?
For what its worth, IF the Soundstream is ever found to be able to work with Wild Boar, then I'll be down to have you install it. I'm sorry but I bought the Wild Boar because I liked it over Hertz, JM, Rockford, etc. and thought it sounded better, and was better made. Maybe I'm not all there. But my buddy lives between Asheville and Morganton NC not to far away from your shop. So IF it ever works, I'll ride over to see you. Great videos, and everybody raves about your customer service. Keep it up
Thank you so much! You could setup a time and we could plug a radio in and see how it sounds, most likely it will work and sound much better
That sounds like a plan. Hopefully in September or on my way back from Sturgis when I stop to see him. I'll call before and make arrangements. @@volunteeraudio
@@volunteeraudio Does this mean it will work with the Wild Boar system?
Since the previous update, I no longer get alerts when my bike has an issue, for example, the bike kicks a low tire pressure warning, but the radio doesn't show the warning. Does this latest update resolve this? I used to also be able to clear alerts. I was getting a front O2 sensor error, but again, now it that alert doesn't even show up when the 'check engine' light is on and the radio just shows OK.
Update to the latest software, it fixes everything
Will you install on a bike with a thunder max? . Not worried about the gauge part of the stereo
Yes, we do and the radio works great
Can we get the rear brake light indicator on the main screen to work
It’s not on the can network when using the foot brake., hand brake works, we can’t add an indicator for something that does not talk to the ecm
Does this work with a Wild Boar audio system and do I need a wireless Carplay adapter when buying this unit? Do I need to unplug my FP3 tuner before install? I have a 2020 Street Glide with a standard radio, it's just a pain to navigate through and won't allow me to skip through songs with a usb, only scans through and that's not what i want to do.
Yes it works with the wild boar system, if you use an auto tuner you will need to disconnect the tuner for gauges to work on the radio
Thanks for the Info. Is there a possibility that the intercom will be brought into the Soundstream?
No, the Hdhu14+ and HDHU14SI do not have internal hardware to support headsets, the new V2 from Soundstream will have headset support, coming early 2024
Hi Jay, do you know what is new from the new maetro 2.4 update from yesterday ?
2.4 fixed the mph on the home screen to properly work on the v2 models
How do I get the outside temperature like on the Harley radio?
Gauge labeled ambient air temp
Hi
Thank you for the update.
Any news if they are doing fix to use headset with soundstream 14si
The 14si does not have internal hardware to support headsets
@@volunteeraudio are they working to have hardware to support headsets something like Whim.
Thank you.
@@fahadbu391 I can not say what is being made in the future but I have for sure requested them to look into adding it to future models
Thanks for the update. But on my 2014 street glide special the gauges now no longer display any info when the bike is off with ignition on. I never had a issue before with the gauges not working with bike on or off. Am I missing something? Thanks
Gauges only work when the engine is running, start the bike and check the gauges
@@volunteeraudioyes they work perfect when the bike is running. I could of sworn before the update they gave readouts when the bike wasn’t running.
@@mattp3602 this was changed so the radio would not interfere during service at the dealerships
Did you ask or did they mention if a WHIM module is in the works?
Soundstream is always innovating and planning future products, I can not discuss any of those yet ;)
I don’t do computers. Thanks for hooking me up I bought a second maestro unit. Should I be sending you my old one so you can update that and I can switch them out at you remember me maybe not but I bought an extra maestro because I do not know how to Update shit on the computer like a zip files that’s all over my head. I’m just an old Harley dude. So I guess I’ll call your guy. I think I have that version 8.0 14 CVO 11:06 Limited. The radio is awesome. I still don’t have the controls figured out all of them anyway. I did figure out how to get my Google Maps to get louder. You have to hit the volume switch quick keep tapping on it and it says if you just hold it steady, it will not Increase the volume of your maps. Not sure if I should send my spare maestro to have it updated. Makes it easier for me that I just have to pull it apart and plug it in. Oh thanks I bought the radio speakers and amp and I got a Telya from my stock. CVO radio so now I don’t have to put it on full volume at all. I don’t want to see how fast but going very fast it’s like nice. I don’t want to lose my locks or I would put some speakers in the lids to get a little more base. But it sounds good thanks.
Give us a call at 1-844-30AUDIO
will they be getting the radio to run the CB to commucat with other bikes
This radio does not have internal hardware to support cb or headsets
Hello Jay is there any info on the latest update 2.3 and what all it fixes or changes? Info for these setups is pretty sparse
2.3 added fader for factory boom amplified systems over 2.2
Looks like 2.1 is working well The only thing I see is you still cant see the DTC's
Dtc’s are only seen when stored
So I use two Harley Tuners so that's why my gauges don't work. Should I have the OBDII disabled?
No, your tuner is overtaking the obd2 from the radio
I have 21 SGS wHDHU14si+MRR all up to date with at least 1.9. For the first time this weekend my bike wouldn’t start. Ignition on it cycled and fuel pump came on and when I hit starter… nothing. Then it finally started with check engine light. I went into info and saw like 6 codes all related to head unit. I cleared it and it was fine after but can this be related?? Just curious. Weird.
Prob not related to the radio, only no start issues where on 14 models, I would still update to 2.1 and while you are doing it check the maestro box for water intrusion, make sure it is up high where water will not run down wiring into the module
Thanks I will do that and update to 2.1. I have module mounted even with and just right of where the back of usb port cubby is where you’d put the rdvfl.
Is there any chance of this module working with the HDHU.14+ in the future?
No, it requires different internal hardware and programming that the hdhu14+ does not have
I have a 2017 street glide special. I have 1.4 software. I bought it from u last year. Can I get the 2.1 update & will it work on my bike? Thx.
The latest is 2.3, yes you need to update to it
Where can I locate the 2.1 sw for Maestro?
Download the WebLink software on your pc
Did they fix the compass issue?
The compass is not broke but very few bikes have the needed sensor, it will likely be removed from future updates
Hoping it fixes the gear indicator issues on the radio screen!!
It did! It displays if engine is running
@@volunteeraudio AWESOME! Mine worked on my 2015 Special but it only registered up shifts. If I went up to say 4th the green light would stay on 4 unless I made it to 5-6 or restarted the bike. It never recognized when I went down in gears.
Need to move the eq reset button to a different spot. Every time I get it set where I want it. I accidentally hit rest while riding since it’s about in the same location as the icon that opens it up. Super annoying
Sorry but I can not move the eq buttons
@@volunteeraudio yeah I know, shitty design🤷🏼♂️
Where can I get the update
Follow these directions but now 2.1 is the correct firmware ua-cam.com/video/FOufFbkQaOs/v-deo.html
Now there is another update 2.2 what has changed from 2.1
It added fade ability when retaining factory boom amplifiers
Hello, does the SI unit work with this CVO-Model 2018 VIN 5HD1PXLC4JB952527
PRODUction year 2018
MODELL 2018 CVO/CUSTOM CVO STREET GLIDE (FLHXSE)
Yes
@@volunteeraudio OK, it has 3 Amplifier, will it work? Fairing upper + Lower + Saddlebag lids
I have a 2018 CVO StreetGlide and this unit works and uses all amps. It sounds awesome!@@maxomationable
I thought one of them were going to get technical on the head unit and the maestro. None of them spoke really lol. Except Jay haha.
Not everyone likes to talk on camera lol
@@volunteeraudio Would of been good to hear the technical side of Maestros integration with the Si.
My HDHU14si doesn’t hold date. I set the time and date and after 2-3 days it’s wrong. I’ve tried unplugging rdvfl mirror for 2 solid weeks now as per VA and still get same results. I also followed VA’s suggestion of turning off RDS which also yields same result. My bike has a brand new battery and is on a trickle charger 24/7. I’m getting a short fuse on all this aftermarket equipment. Love the idea of the products but very unrefined. I can’t be the only one having this issue. I refuse to believe that.
The date and time auto set when connected to a phone via usb or a wireless CarPlay adapter, RDVFL will set the time incorrect if not using the latest software update which fixed the issue, available from RDVFL directly, if you phones date or time is incorrect it will also change the radio time and date
Yeah I did all that!!!! Latest software is on everything including the rdvfl. Still no good. And that’s incorrect because when I plug my phone in or connect to rdvfl apple carplay the head unit still displays wrong date… not the time. And I’m very skeptical about my apple iPhone being wrong on time and date. And why wouldn’t the head unit hold time and date once set?? You know like ever car I’ve ever seen plus my stock HD GTS?? The bike just sits a few days and then I turn it on and date is off?
@@stevenjacobs3567 set the time wrong and then plug your phone in via usb, once CarPlay or android auto launches it syncs time to your phone time, this is how it works, I don’t build them but I do use them daily including in my own bike
It works that way via usb cable you are 💯 correct. However via mirror it does not. And lets forget about the phone for a second. I’m just saying the head unit itself does not seem to keep the date correctly. After a few days the date is a day behind and the time is right. That’s is what I’m asking about. Why is that? That’s what I’m asking about. Forget the phone and rdvfl altogether.
@@stevenjacobs3567 it could be as simple as voltage dropping too low while cranking, call 1-844-30AUDIO to speak with our tech team, we give you suggestions on how to fix it, if you don’t call back we don’t know you are having issues
Am I the only one that can’t seem to get the date and time to stick?? I’ll set it and once radio turns off its back to January 1999 or something
It’s most likely a wireless CarPlay/android auto adapter messing it up
Ok Jay. I just ran a test. I shut off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on my iphone. Set the head unit with the correct date and time and it stuck. I turned the head unit off and on a couple of times, and the date and time was correct. Then I turned Wi-Fi and Bluetooth back on my iPhone and I went right back to January 1, 1970 on the head unit. Everything works fine except for my OCD lol.
@@EzlivnMaine yes this is because your apple CarPlay wireless adapter is changing the time, what brand are you using?
I just got the Ottocast. It did the same thing when I just plugged the iPhone in without wireless.
How about a better scan for music on a thumb drive... such as search for song-artist- blues- rock- jazz rock blues ..... just a suggestion
Put the songs in folders, artist then albums with songs, left control goes to next song, right control up and down goes through folders
