THAT'S GREAT!!!! We actually call the a "chicken wing". But I never tried it on a Guillotine. That would've helped me many times over the years. Sucks being knocked out....LOL Much respect! OSS!!!
This has to be low percentage, who c-grips on a guillotine? I am exclusively gabled and/or overhand gripped where the rest has zero exposure to such an attack.
Oddly my wrists are way too flexible for this, I once got into a wrist Kimora and I could feel my sparing partner going for it but they couldn’t get my wrist into a better position so they opted for a casual choke hold
When applied with experience the elegant simplicity of jujitsu is amazing. There are also some amazing real world applications that don't lead to me goin to prison (like a strike, guy hits his head,I'm doin 25 to l)
I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all the sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana". I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.
That only works if you are not strong or a one time lucky accident. I haven’t done jujitsu in 10 years but strength plays a big part on some of these type of fancy moves. I wouldn’t recommend this to someone who knows they are at a strength disadvantage.
What ifhe grabs his own wrist to secure the choke? And instead of wrapping his legs around you he just steps backwards flattens out, causing you both to lay on your belly
Here's the REAL rule: Wrist locks ARE allowed, because wrist joint is not a small joint. Only fingers and toes classify as small joints in ufc. However, in ufc specifically, you are not allowed to grab the opponent's gloves. A wrist lock would require exactly that. Nonetheless, no ufc fighter has ever thought about applying the wrist lock using another part of his body. They just sincerely don't remember to brainstorm and be creative to apply this useful submission
Thanks. I would have loved to knew this when I was younger and getting into fights finding myself in this position. I was using pure strength to pop my head out if i hadnt tucked my head, getting my jaw clamped.
As an Aikido practitioner, the first thing that came on my mind was a Sankyo or Gokyo variation. This was a pretty smart move, and very well explained!
I used to Practice Nishiyama Aikido, Karate and Judo. I would never grab my hands like this in a naked choke. My right hand would either be a fist or in the opposite configuration with my left wrist bent so that I could use it to rotate my right hand and forearm to rotate the the right radial to crush the larynx in one quick twist. Its an old ju-jitsu move from before 1882 that was outlawed in the sport of Judo as it kills people unless they get a tracheotomy within 5 minutes.
Those who are under 18 can't do it
Never seen someone guillotine like that
Is it too late if they have their hands locked?
I’m so excited to try this tonight at class !!!
What if he uses both hands? lol
good
Who the hell holds the chin during a guillotine???
So we're allowed to manipulate small joints now?
Everybody can do this, but you’ll never win a fight because this shit don’t happen at all
What happens if his leg is wrapped around?
Does this work before it's actually locked in, as in he has his hand over his wrist?
My wife loves all the affection! So I give her all my attention! 👍
Tor tilla
Thats absolutely diabolocal
This guy is special 👍
Is this legal for white belts ?
White belt tears😢
He is hot
That’s interesting I was taught to hold my wrist and not to finger lock to guillotine.
Black belt level move👍🏽
Poiriers hate this one small trick!
Thanks for the lesson
Great Super Thanks. 🙏 Osu !
gill o teen cause you choke around the gills so he caint breathe none
Wristlocks are awesome
THAT'S GREAT!!!! We actually call the a "chicken wing". But I never tried it on a Guillotine. That would've helped me many times over the years. Sucks being knocked out....LOL
Much respect!
OSS!!!
Hands would be locked iron...wont work on game opponent steven segal. Lol maybe
SICK. Gunna try this...
This saved my ass
Oh the old guillotine where you put their chin in your palm..??
Do you have a white belt counter? Other than waiting till I get promoted to blue belt lol
This has to be low percentage, who c-grips on a guillotine? I am exclusively gabled and/or overhand gripped where the rest has zero exposure to such an attack.
I feel weird now because I never ever use an S-grip when attempting a guillotine. This video makes me feel like that must be strange.
That move actually comes from aikido.
Is the wrist submission legal in MMA?
I guarantee that won’t work all of the time.
Yea. And after you woke up.... And is coming from a fat guy... Jesus christ u ll get someone killed with these advises man...
Oddly my wrists are way too flexible for this, I once got into a wrist Kimora and I could feel my sparing partner going for it but they couldn’t get my wrist into a better position so they opted for a casual choke hold
I didn't know hand locks was allowed in BJJ? 🥳
Gotta be really careful with your training partner when trying those wrist locks
Why did I think penis punch
Man... this is about as pathetic as Gordon Ramsys Grilled Cheese
What happens when the guy is strong enough to lift me off the ground in a guillotine tho?
Annoyed of getting wrist locked, Try a gable grip....
Wrist lock
Dick punch!!!
Chicken wing
I don’t grab my fingers in a guillotine. I grab my wrist. Big difference.
Why does he have a s grip though?
Who does guillotine like that😂
@TylerSpangler does this work on your guillotine? Since the pressure comes from your shallow grip, are you exposed to this technique?
His balls were right there.
isso nuinca pegar kk, vc irá acordar com o arbitro levantando as suas pernas
I never hold my fingers. This won't work on my grip
I think I know a grip where this escape wont work, never tried it tho. Just thought of it while watching this
My ass would help the dude submit me with my own two hands 😂
Very nice,I need more ways to wristlock lol
I like this, but don’t you use two hands to lock the guillotine ?
No chance
Didn't this guy make an exact video not to hold fingertips for grapling
Genius
🤯🤯🤯
I do this organically every time 😅
i got a trick too. dont put your head down into someones armpit.
This is stupid. Why would his hand be exposed like that in a guillotine. That aint a guillotine if he doing that.
I’m sorry prof. But I really don’t think this works on a competent opponent
Wristlocks are a party foul during rolls, but of course no one can deny the effectiveness.
When applied with experience the elegant simplicity of jujitsu is amazing. There are also some amazing real world applications that don't lead to me goin to prison (like a strike, guy hits his head,I'm doin 25 to l)
Can white belts do this?

Chin Na finally coming in “handy” 😂
Mão de vacaaa😂
You dont need jiu jitsu if you got a gun.
Smart

Man, where were you 40 years ago? lol
I wish she explained a little bit more how to break the s grip.
What ifhe grabs his own wrist to secure the choke? And instead of wrapping his legs around you he just steps backwards flattens out, causing you both to lay on your belly
Yes, a different grip might complicate things, but, like anything else, it is easier to counter before a technique is fully engaged.
What a load of BS
Nice! Simple & easy to remember. U have the best tips! Keep ‘em coming. 🙏 Thank you.
Nah; not gonna work with my grip… next?
What about no S grip? I don't do S grip for a guillotine...
Looks.to me like you're making the tap out quicker by helping him a little . Hahaja
Superb 👍🙏
Looks sketch , tying up your hands while he can circle or sprawl down on you . Looks like a half decent way to transition… half .
Isn't that an illegal move in comp?
Thanks, good to see some defensive moves.
Is this only because he ha that bizarre S grip for the guillotine
The headlock is unstoppable.. these are the examples..
It's impressive that i have never seen this move in mma, why is that????
Take ori
Good stuff!!!
Remember, the wrists are the balls of the arm
Except...why would the guy not be locking his hands together...pretty big flaw in your plan.

That’s dirty and I like it.😂
Gokyo
