Blazing guitar so.os as good as any in history, soaring and powerful vocals, a break neck speed drummer, and now a new phenom on bass. They will resume their conquest of the world as soon as they can get back to touring overseas.

Hey. Metal Dad and Ava the Cat. I'm just completely blown away with this song . Stand and Deliver from. Lovebites. They're like the female version of Loudness. I give it a 10
I love the bass intro to this as well as the ladies dressed down and having fun and of course their guitar solos. One of the few songs I know they are all singing in harmony. This one for me gets an 8.5/10. I'd strongly recommend the greatest song on their new album - Soldier Stands Solitary (it gets a 10, which I rarely give)

Asami wanted to use the sound of "river" in the lyrics, but thought it would be strange to use "river" as the chorus. Asami found "deliver" and thought it would be cool if everyone shouted it out instead of just telling what the word means. For many Japanese, pronouncing and hearing the English "r" and "l" is difficult. From there, Asami arrived at "stand and deliver. "Stand and deliver" is a pirate term that apparently means "Leave all your money!" Asami thought that if he wrote the lyrics as they were, it would be a song about a "pirate king. Asami wanted to avoid that. Asami learned that "deliver" can also mean "to carry out" or "to be free" in addition to "to deliver. A female Iron Maiden is a reasonable description … except Lovebites have more technical skill than Iron Maiden.
