Heard this song on the radio alongside Always (blink 182), Why Don't You Get a Job (Offspring) and Song 2 (Blur) last week. One of the few times I enjoyed listening to the radio this year.
I've been listening to sum 41 every day for a year and 8 days. I've purchased every single cd, disected every album, adored every bonus track and just recently saw them live. Long live the sums!!!
Nostalgia de cuando tenía 12 años y volvía del colegio, encendía el televisor en un canal de música toda la tarde, y salía esta canción. Es como si pudiera sentir incluso el olor del perfume que usaba en aquel tiempo. Qué sensación!
Well because we're doing fine, And we don't need to be told That we are doing fine, Cause we won't give you control And we don't need anything from you, Cause we'll be just fine And we won't be bought and sold, Just like you
This has been the last song I listen to at the end of the year and the first for about 10 years now. Here comes another new decade, let’s keep this music alive 🤞
I just love the fact that the dude hitting the ball nearly knocked someone out at 0:46 Small details like that are why I enjoy these kinds of 'chaotic' music videos.

Ah Sum 41, my first love in rock music. Even though ive moved onto harder music, the allure of sum41 is still there. I still can see what attracted me to these guys and why i still enjoy listening to them while all the rest(green day etc etc) have faded away to utter mediocrity. I remember watching their dvds religiously. Brilliant viewing/brilliant band.
Had a really good day, got home and was chilling, put this song on and for some reason tears started coming. Nostalgia can be a powerful fucking thing. It's to a point where I struggle to get through songs sometimes lol.
"Underclass" "Still Waiting" and "In Too Deep" by Sum 41 are three great songs that have a playful and energetic feel to them, which would be perfect for a character like Sonic the Hedgehog. Both songs also have a punk rock influence, which would fit well with Sonic's edgy and adventurous personality.

🅻🆈🆁🅸🅲🆂
(One, two, three, four...)
[Verse 1]
Well, I won't be caught living in a dead-end job
While praying to my government, guns, and God
Now it's us against them, we're here to represent
And spit right in the face of the establishment
[Pre-Chorus]
And now I don't believe (in having faith in nothing)
Stand on my own (and got no sympathy)
Wasting the youth (while being young and useless)
Speak for yourself (and don't pray for me)
[Chorus]
Well, because we're doing fine, and we don't need to be told
That we're doing fine, 'cause we won't give you control
And we don't need anything from you
'Cause we'll be just fine, and we won't be bought and sold
Just like you
[Verse 2]
(A call across the Underclass)
Calling out loud with no respect
I'm not the one, I'm just another reject
I'm the voice to offend all those who pretend
Unsung against the grain, I'm here to rise against
[Pre-Chorus]
Now I'm desensitized (I state my place in nowhere)
Burning the flag (of the degeneration)
Everyone sing (the anthem of no future)
Down with the mass ('cause we're not listening)
[Chorus]
Well, because we're doing fine, and we don't need to be told
That we're doing fine, 'cause we won't give you control
And we don't need anything from you
'Cause we'll be just fine, and we won't be bought and sold
Just like you
[Post-Chorus]
May I have your attention please?
I pledge allegiance to the Underclass
As your hero at large!
[Bridge]
(One, two, three, four...)
We're the saints of degeneration
We don't owe anyone an explanation
Fuck elitists, we don't need this
We're the elite of just alright
[Chorus]
Well, because we're doing fine, and we don't need to be told
That we're doing fine, 'cause we won't give you control
And we don't need anything from you
'Cause we'll be just fine, and we won't be bought and sold
