Lyrics:
And I don’t wanna believe that maybe this is the end
I know you’re kind of a tease but is this really pretend
Something tells me I’m wrong, with you I never can tell
The way you drag me along, the way I put you through hell
Well tell me am I insane, is this where we belong?
Is it for pleasure or pain that we’re still hanging on
Going outta my head, You know that true love is dead
But what you said has got me hanging on
I can’t help but walk through your landmines
Ten feet and I’m going outta my mind
I’m not right without you is that so wrong?
I can’t help but walk through your landmines
I’m bleeding and all I need is a sign
I’m out here and I’ve been waiting so long
Oh whoa-o-oh whoa-o-whoa-oh
You’ve got me hanging on
whoa-o-oh whoa-o-whoa-oh
You’ve got me hanging
And Maybe I’m outta luck, or maybe all of it’s bad
I’m not sure why we broke up, it was the best that I’d had
They say it’s all for the best, I think that fate is a lie
I know my hair is a mess and you’re a little bit high
Should I give it a chance, is it ever enough
No more blood on our hands, no more fucking it up
Going outta my head, all the tears that I bled
And what you said has got me hanging on
I can’t help but walk through your landmines
Ten feet and I’m going outta my mind
I’m not right without you is that so wrong?
I can’t help but walk through your landmines
I’m bleeding and all I need is a sign
I’m out here and I’ve been waiting so long
Oh whoa-o-oh whoa-o-whoa-oh
You’ve got me hanging on
whoa-o-oh whoa-o-whoa-oh
You’ve got me hanging on
All I need to know’s should I stay or is,
It time for me to go
I don’t wanna waste another minute no
The story’s getting old
All I wanna know’s whether I should stay or is,
It time for me to go
I can’t help but walk through your landmines
Ten feet and I’m going outta my mind
I’m not right without you is that so wrong?
I can’t help but walk through your landmines
I’m bleeding and all I need is a sign
I’m out here and I’ve been waiting so long
Oh whoa-o-oh whoa-o-whoa-oh
You’ve got me hanging on
whoa-o-oh whoa-o-whoa-oh
You’ve got me hanging

Listen to "Landmines" now! sum41.lnk.to/Landmines
Even though the odd comment might think this is just commercial crap, I (and a lot of other Skumfuk's) enjoy this song. Sure, when the rest of the album comes out eventually, it might fall out of favor for some Skumfuk's when compared to other songs.
Me personally, I find this one quite enjoyable to hear and listen to Deryck! Can't wait for the Hell single to come out!!
If I can ask, how many tracks are gonna be on this album? PS I never knew a double album existed until you guys mentioned it.

during the 70s/80s/90s/early 2000s were hands down the best eras to be blessed to have been grown up in.

Lol, sounding like The Killers. Y'all are desperate so whatevs
This upload was completely unexpected. I was in my teens in the early/mid 2000s and absolutely loved Sum 41. I'm 35 now. It warms my heart to hear that Sum 41 has maintained their sound for so long. Even though I've never heard this song before, they take me straight back to 2004 when I was just an awkward kid. I think I speak for everyone when I say, Thank you for keeping the music going.

yes.. I think this is the single off of the "last album " maybe? Once again lets all keep in mind anything is possible in music. how many times has blink claimed it was there last album?
A new blink-182 and Sum 41 song within 6 days of each other. The 2001 pop punk kid in me is jumping on my bed screaming with excitement as my pizza rolls finish cooking.

Just like old times great stuff !!
Ok, call me crazy but out of Blink New songs, Green day new songs that are out as of now, this is the best one in my opinion. This feels like classic Sum 41. Holy crap so many memories.
I've been on a binge listening to '00 rock playlist shedding tears of nostalgia. This song actually made me cheer up! They sill got it!
Definitely
I said the same exact thing!
the new green day song sounds like some band trying to be green day.. and blink just plain sucks anyways.
I honestly thought it was an old song when I heard it at first
"AND I DON'T WANNA BELIEVE THAT MAYBE THIS IS THE END"
Me neither, Deryck
I feel this!
Hopefully one day the Sum will rise again.
Got to speak with Deryck on a Skype call many years ago and honestly they say don’t meet your heroes but It didn’t apply to him he only had to do 30 minutes but an hour and half later he was still happy talk, never rushed it or felt like it was a job. I’ve listened since I was 11 and knowing this is the final album is tough
Had a similar experience meeting Dave this year, such a down to earth guy, it'll forever be a memory I cherish.
Got to speak to Deryck at multiple meet and greets, Dave went out of his way to get me a copy of SBM signed by the band. That album changed my life, so it meant a great deal to me.
Genuinely sweet dudes.

As the other guy said, same goes for Dave. Met him a couple months ago and he was incredibly friendly
Final album? No way..... nooooooooooooo😭
Brings me back to Summer 2007, waiting every day for Underclass Hero to drop, eager for the return of the pop punk sound in Sum 41s music. Absolutely great track, so excited to hear what’s next
It seems like October is the era of punk rock revival Blink 182, Greenday and Sum41 are competing to release their newest works, congratulations!

I remember patiently waiting back then too haha. If you have a minute, check out our music, we play late 90s / early 2000s style pop punk :)
YOU LISTEN TO SUM 41?! I love your vids and Sum 41 and you just became one of my favourite creators.
That makes me feel so old realizing Underclass Hero is already 16 years old. I remember seeing Sum 41 at Warped Tour right after they blew up with Fat Lip. I still remember being mad because the two bands I wanted to see the most played at the same time on different stages, Sum 41 and Less Than Jake. I chose Sum 41 because I was already going to see Less Than Jake a month or so later. Both bands did not disappoint.
My introduction to Sum 41 was in summer of 2003 watching the documentary Ultimate X. I was 14. In Too Deep is featured in it and hearing it had me hooked. I miss those days.
I'll be 40 next year and this song sounds like it's from the 2000s, when I was 16, 17 years old. What an incredibly cool time and what a flair - I couldn't have grown up any better. This song sounds like a hit from that time, which I'm hearing now for the first time. Thank you, Sum41, for this incredibly cool song!

Well done boys. Sad to hear about the disbanding, but hope to hear from you all again in the future.
All the best.
At this point, I don't understand them disbanding, at all.
One of the best bands ever.
@@gaborkiss1425 maybe they want a break or something?
@@gaborkiss1425 Well, if it's due to inner-band conflicts, they've done a good job of keeping that hidden from the public eye. From their tours and videos, you'd never know they were planning to break up.
This is speculation, but I have two theories for why they're disbanding. First, Deryck is a dad now, and it's hardly a secret that he's struggled a lot over the years with him and his mom being abandoned by his father growing up ("Never There" and "Dear Father" are explicitly about that). I'd wager that now that he's a parent, he wants to be a far more involved father to his kid(s) than he ever had... but he's also been one to put EVERYTHING into music, booking 300+ shows a year and year-long global tours. Sum 41 tours a LOT, far more than most bands in general, and I think Deryck genuinely doesn't know how to not give his all to music. So instead, he hit the kill-switch: one more album, one more big tour, then pull the plug and devote all of his energy to his family.
The second theory,is a lot simpler: they just feel the time is right. Sum 41's history is full of highs and lows, ranging from a defining name of early 2000s pop-rock, to near total collapse in the early 2010s, to a SECOND golden era that few bands ever get to experience. With Heaven x Hell shaping up to be their biggest album ever, maybe they feel like just calling it there, going out at the top of their game.
@@baylaustif they tour a lot then they’re making bank as that’s how musicians make the most of their money these days. Depending your draw (whether you charge 15$-250$ per ticket or 1k+) it’s the smarter choice to tour almost daily for a whole year or more so you can have plenty of months to year(s) depending on your spending. Disbanding is still a bad idea as a yearly concert would bring in a ton of money or they could just do festivals and be gone 2-3 days a month. I’m not a huge fan but have been in bands/toured and sometimes you just out grow the music, don’t look at your band mates the same as loved ones. People think it’s all fun ‘n games but it can very much suck.
@@baylaustThanks, much appreciated!

I feel like a lot of bands feel like they need to adapt to the current set of digital instruments being used at whatever time they drop something, but this is refreshing because it's not an adaptation really, it's just a pretty sweet track.
It is a bad thing*
I couldn't say it better!
I've been listening to Sum 41 since the early days when I was a teenager. This song and video absolutely come full circle and brought a tear to my eye. Just seen them in concert recently in Atlanta. Also super excited for the new album, and really sad that it's the last one at the same time. You guys have been a mainstay and so impactful on my life. Thank you very much
Hearing "one more time" and "landmines" all day long.. We will miss u Sum41.. My favorite band forever ❤
Same ! Playing on repeat !
Dude, this brings me back early 2000s man love it🤘🏼💯🔥
American Pie or Tony Hawk Pro Skater VIBES!!
The fact that this is an homage to their earlier mischievous and prankster days of ''Half Hour of Power'' and ''All Killer, No Filler'' makes it even better!
god this is so good, how has their sound been SO consistent this whole time???
Because the best bands stick to their talent and dont care what the label want, they know what the fans want 🔥
my thoughts exactly
What a great song. Guys, I am a fan of Sum 41 for ages and lost track of you for the last 2-3 years. This song feels like being back in the 2000s and it feels awesome! Hope you come to Hamburg, Germany, for one more time. I've been to your concert at Große Freiheit 36 in 2017 and really hope will revoke your break up. Your music does so much good to so many people.
Парни, спасибо за наше счастливое детство, ОБОЖАЮ!
+1 как раз под Новый Год слушаю, в тему!
What a month. blink-182 is back and Sum 41. Fav bands
Same 💯
sum 41 never gone bro....o como mierda se diga que jamas claudicaron
Apart from Deryck being hospitalised in the 2010's Sum 41 never went away, the album has been postponed for a very long time but they were still here
Frank's sound has now been fully integrated into the writing, you can feel it
You can feel both Frank & Tom’s influence here. This feels like a true blend of the Underclass Hero days with a little bit of Foot In Mouth Disease.
This song really slaps. Just like your old stuff. I freaking love this song!!!!!! Can’t wait to hear this live!
Ps I appreciate you only playing old songs at the when we were young show more than you know. But I wish you would have played this. This is my favorite song right now.
Me as 80s baby, love this shit..miss the late 90s early 00s vibes
GREAT SONG! GREAT VIDEO! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!! LOVE YOU SINCE I WAS 15, TODAY I´M ALMOST 35 , MY DAUGHTER IS 5 AND SHE LOVES YOU, TOO!! SUM 41 ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS!!! CAN´T BELIEVE IS GOING TO AN END. S2
I cannot describe the joy I felt when I realized this song came out just a few months ago and not like 2004 or something.
The song just reached #1 at the Airplay Charts
In a week I went back to 2000, first Blink 182 and now Sum 41, this year is going to be epic🔥
Neck Deep dropped a new song too
Classic Sum 41 sound right there ❤🤘
This hit home. Makes me miss the 90's and 2000's.
Brings me back to Christmas 2001 when I was 9 years old....opening up All Killer as a gift and listening to the whole album before breakfast.
