This game is fun for sure, but I wished it had more levels based on present day to protect John Connor. They could have made an level where T-1000 is chasing John with the truck and you need to keep T-1000 away from John for limited time. Or maybe a level taking place at the mental hospital to break out Sarah and then run away from T-1000.
I have finished the Amiga version of this using the number of credits the game gave you. But goddamn it, this arcade version is WAY harder. I wonder if anyone ever managed to 1 credit clear that thing.
I honestly doubt that you can clear this with one credit. You take so much damage during every single stage. Midway did design their arcade games to be hard to beat to make sure you'll be pumping out quarters to keep going.
It's not that everyone sucks, it's that the game is rigged to be impossibly hard unless you have lots of money to put in it. You know why a lot of these machines say "Winners Don't Use Drugs?" Because you can't afford drugs after blowing all your money on games!
Are you good at it? The home version had the difficulty very toned down and gave you 5 continues IIRC and still most people couldn't beat them. This game is brutally hard.
The Truck part is the most unpredictable, because I played on a emulator and when I loaded the state where the Truck is almost damage, the HKs will destroy it if I shoot it down, but when I reloaded that part without shooting it, it only fly by and didn't blew the truck
This looks incredible for 91! Holy terminator
One of my all time favorite arcade games.
Yes. We are waiting for a playable version of terminator salvation. The game I am waiting the most.
that FRAKKING mini-truck scene!!! :((((((
Same!! 😂😂😂

It took me many years to complete the freakin‘ Truck scene!!!
Took me weeks to beat the Jerusalem level on splinter cell pandora tomorrow

I think it would be easier to beat a real-life terminator…
